    Yes she knows about the layering! I’ve tried chia pudding with others milk but for some reason I prefer coconut milk. Honestly, chia pudding pairs the best with coconut because coconut milk is the most neutral tasting non dairy milk IMO. I’m so glad I discovered these recipes because I used to go to liqueteria and spend almost $8 on chia parfaits when I can just make it at home! And the best part is you can control the amount of sugar and sweetness

    The peach coconut cream and chocolate raspberry were my favourites, peanut butter being a close runner up. I didnt realise chia pudding was so easy to make.

    Thanks for these recipes. As someone who is allergic to tree nuts, it's refreshing to have overnight oats recipes that don't call for almond or cashew milk or butters. I'm sure folks who aren't allergic could probably adapt these recipes as well, which I would if I didn't have this allergy. I'm subscribing to your channel because of these recipes.

    Thank you for making vegan content.
    You can also add some golden flax seeds.
    If you don't like boxed vegan milks (I don't) you can blend some nut or seed butter with water and viola, instant vegan milk.

    I just made the matcha chia pudding but had to use almond milk because that’s what I have on hand and only used vanilla extract because I don’t have maple syrup. I just put it in my fridge so now I’ll wait for it to set. I hope it’s good. I Love chia seeds i put them in smoothies and a Morning drink, I also add some to my fruit infused water so hoping I found something new to eat them with 🤗🤗🤗

    If you want metric measurements:
    50 g chia
    250 ml of your preferred milk. I use coconut or almond.
    I've tried substituting the maple syrup for honey but i didn't like it as much. I'm yet to try agave nectar.

    I don't know if anyone suggested this or not, but I bet mixing the chocolate and the peanut butter chia puddings, topped with chocolate chunks (or crumbled up p.b. cups in the middle), or both, would taste absolutely divine!! Maybe add some peanuts in there, too? Or, some caramel? I've never had chia pudding. I came across this video while looking up something else. It looked good, so I clicked on it. I know to be careful with how much I start out with to stay away from any possible digestive issues. But, I plan on working my way up, because I don't think I could stop eating around a third of the way, lol. I subbed because I'm interested in other recipes you might have. I'm not vegan, but I am trying to eat healthier. Thanks!! 😀

      either decrease the liquid or increase the chia seeds and it will be thicker. Oh and what's best at-least for me is to prepare your pudding over night as far as soaking the chia seeds overnight instead of just soaking it for just an hour or two in the liquid, because soaking it overnight will get it to be nice & thick and always to the right consistency. I hope these tips help! :)

    Hello Girl. I'm not vegan but I loved your recipe. We eat chia seeds but only in water. I am going to try all of your combinations. Greetings from Jalisco. México.

  •  7 років тому +456

    These are amazing.The only problem is that the maximum amount of chia an adult can eat is 15 grams and a quarter cup is not less than 45. So this much chia pudding can potentially be dangerous, cause constipation, bloating and even vomiting to those who aren't used to eating so much fiber.

    • @OrangeTabbyCat
      @OrangeTabbyCat 7 років тому +85

      Tímea Tarjányi People in South America would grin about this. They've been eating big amounts of Chia sees for centuries. I eat two table spoon in the morning and two in the evening. No problems ever. And my stomach gives some trouble with a lot of foods.

    • @jacksonfan221
      @jacksonfan221 7 років тому +26

      Tímea Tarjányi Yes, recommended about 20grams per day. Though many people can tolerate the side effects and consume much more!
      I use it once a day in the morning with my oats. 3 table spoons to reap its benefits!

    • @bobbyenglish7956
      @bobbyenglish7956 7 років тому +67

      All seeds should be hydrated for 5 to 10 minutes and rinsed. That will prevent constipation
