Good! It should be about what you like, anyway. It's your team, after all! Not bashing the Best Teams, of course. These are pretty fun to watch, and they help me catch up a little bit on the generations I missed, like this one.
What I love about BW is that you can only choose pokemon from its region, therefore you can really see what the region's pokemon can do rather than rely too much on previous pokemon.
Strong Pokémon, weak Pokémon...these are differences told by the ignorance, i think the trainer should create his/her team with their favourite Pokémons, if you succeed then you are a true trainer.
BruttiF27 umm you obviously didn't listen to ANYTHING they said. this is a suggestion video as to the best pokemon to use for the main game... hence all the explanation of types and coverage moves etc..idiot
BruttiF27 there are strong and weak pokemon, obviously you can choose to use you're favourite pokemon but some pokemon ARE better than others, again play how you want
My Serperior basically did all of the work in my first play through. Literally, she was unstoppable and she was level 100 before the battle against team plasma, while my team was in the 40’s! 8 year old me sure had confidence!
“These moves would be effective against elite four member Marshall” *All of Marshall’s Pokémon know either stone edge or rockslide. I tried it, and I recommend Reuniclus or Gothitelle.*
@@trent800 stone edge miss bye bye sawk. Stone edge donest miss make sure your you have a lot of defence. when i used it it had like 30 or 30 health left after dealing with sawk
@@chow42 Sigilith does not one shot Throw without being overleveled and they all have stone edge or payback and stone edge only misses when you use it
I kept a panpour on my team the entire game, evolved it after victory road and used it to beat the elite four when I was little. To this day, I still wonder what was wrong with me back then.
If you're patient I really like going Roost, Calm Mind, Stored Power, and Psycho Shift. With Magic Guard and Flame Orb it's really annoying and hits hard.
It's 2021 and I am still watching these videos lol. My personal dream team for Unova is Emboar, Whimsicott, Jellicent, Krookodile, Sigilyph, and Escavalier. Whimsicott is exclusive to Black but I think that this team covers every possible battle you run into in Unova and its also just an aesthetically pleasing team to me type coverage wise. Considering Unova is my favorite region, this is my favorite team I've ever used in game, period.
I've been playing through Black and White with this team and while it's certainly good, One glaring flaw with this team is the lack of a reliable water type counter. It's annoying to deal with Bianca's Panpour and especially Clay's Palpitoad without a grass type to one shot them with. Even taking in mind with Stoutland's Thunderfang and Sigilyph's Charge Beam, that still leaves Ghetsis' Seismitoad who is rather difficult to deal with without a reliable Grass type move. Solarbeam just doesn't cut it for Emboar since you need Sunny Day for it to be effective and Seismitoad is a water type against Emboar's low defenses. I've just finished Clay's gym and I'm about to go to Route 6 where you can catch Deerling. It might not be as bulky or strong as Stoutland but it is faster, has access to jump kick, has the same base attack stat in Black and White, still has the Return stab and can deal with water type pokemon better like Seismitoad. Also Sawsbuck has access to Horn Leech which recovers health. I feel that Stoutland is often outclassed by everyone on the team. Krookodile can deal with Psychic and Ghost types better with a better attack stat and immunity to Psychic types, Carracosta can wall and smash flying types in Skyla's gym with Smackdown at level 31, Emboar deals with Brycen's gym with no problem at all, Sigilyph takes out all of Marshall's pokemon with relative ease and Cofagrigus just does walling a lot better than Stoutland. I think Sawsbuck would be a better option in my opinion.
Stuart Porter But after you get your team together, Stoutland just becomes obsolete because everyone else can do it's job better. In fact, I have never used my Herdier very much when playing through the game and by the time I got to Mistralton City, I've already got myself a Deerling which has seen more use than my Herdier. Also Tirtouga has got Skyla's gym completely covered with Smackdown. MysticUmbreon's points were it can use the elemental fangs and defeat the trainers that Krookodile can do. He never mentioned Ghetsis' Seismitoad and if you still have Stoutland, what are you going to do against that? Clay's Palpitoad already gives the team unneeded trouble and Route 8 is full of trainers with Water pokemon. Sawsbuck fixes that problem with Energy Ball and Horn Leech at level 37.
Just an update. I removed Cofagrigus since it was rather redundant with Krookodile on the team and I needed a clear answer to Ghetsis' Hydreigon. I picked up Cryogonal for it's outstanding 105 Speed and 135 Special Defense aswell as it's great 95 Special Attack. It learns Ice Beam at level 33 and I raised it up to level 43 where it absolutely dominated the Opelucid gym, not even Drayden/Iris could touch me. Now it's level 49 and has Recover. Can't wait to use it on Ghetsis. He might be a little tough but considering the fact that his Hydreigon only has Special Attacks, he can't take advantage of my cripplingly low 30 Physical Defense with Lonely nature.
+Oshawott TV The TM for Wild Charge isn't available until Victory Road and by that time, you could already have a Sawsbuck that can deal with water types better with a 100% accurate 75 base power STAB Horn Leech that recovers health instead of a Stoutland with a 95% accurate 65 base power non STAB Thunder fang that either has a chance to Paralyse or Flinch the opponent. Not only that, you can pick up a Big Root early on in the game in Pinwheel Forest and slap it on to Sawsbuck which increases the HP gained from draining by 30% which is great for something as frail as Sawsbuck. You can probably tell which one is more appealing.
I'm near the end of another Black/White play through where I try out Pokemon I haven't used before. My final team is Samurott .Aqua Tail .Slash .Surf .Megahorn .Holding:Mystic Water .Ability: Torrent This moveset can be imrpoved. The attack and sp. attack stats on Samurott are very close so I want to replace either Aqua Tail or Surf with a move that will give me better type coverage against the Elite Four. Excadrill .Rock Slide .Earthquake .Swords Dance .Strength .Holding: Rocky Helmet .Ability: Sand Rush Another work in progress, Swords Dance is perfect for boosting it's already massive attack stat making it an excellent sweeper, Earthquake and Rock slide are great moves and I have it holding the Rocky Helmet to punish physical attackers since Excadrill's defensive stats are pretty low. I'm considering replacing Strength for Return with max happiness once I'm able to fly straight to the Pokemon League. Archeops .Acrobatics .Shadow Claw .U-Trun .Fly .Holding: Nothing .Ability: Defeatist It's easy to tell that Archeops was an attempt at making another Slaking. Really good stats with an ability that hinders it. To make up for it's ability I gave it U-Turn to use when it needs to switch out because it's at half or lower HP. Acrobatics does a great amount of damage without a hold item which is why I don't have him holding anything and Fly is great for stalling. I gave him Shadow Claw for Type Coverage. Eelektross .Discharge .Flash .Crunch .Thunder Wave .Holding: Amulet Coin .Ability: Levitate My Eelektross doesn't take advantage of it's impressive special and physical attack stats as much as i would like it to but being a beefy Pokemon I gave it Flash and kept Thunder wave for the purpose of stalling more powerful Pokemon, since it doesn't have any weaknesses. It can paralyze opponents for speed purposes and use Flash a few times to make Pokemon like Ghetsis's Hydreigon allot less threatening since they won't be landing hits as much. You might call this cheap, and it is I won't deny that, but it's also effective. Chandelure .Will-O-Wisp .Flame Burst .Memento .Shadow Ball Holding:Spell Tage Ability: Flash Fire Chandelure is somewhat of a sacrifice ploy if it needs to be, with the move Memento killing itself to harshly lowering the targets Attack and Special Attack. Otherwise Shadow Ball and Flame Burst are good for Type Coverage as well as having a same type attack bonus for each move and burning and enemy with Will-O-Wisp is always useful against physical attacking opponents. Will-O-Wisp followed by Memento is a really useful way to put powerful Physical Attackers out of commission, the Burn status effect halving their Attack and Memento lowering it even more. Haxorus .X-Scissor .Dragon Dance .Poison Jab .Dragon Claw .Holding: Dragon Fang I probably should have picked up a Physic or Ice type instead but my Haxorus still serves pretty well. I taught it X-Scissor and Poison Jab through TMs for the purpose of coverage since Haxorus has a pretty high Attack stat, and kept Dragon Claw for some type attack bonus, as well as something to deal with other Dragon types. Dragon Dance is there for setting up. I decided on keeping it over Swords Dance because while the higher boost in Attack is useful, I also want to make sure that it isn't out sped by Pokemon like N's Archeops and Ghetsis's Hydreigon, since Dragon Dance raises both Attack and Speed. Thoughts? I'd love to hear them some constructive criticism.
Wouldn't having less options make selecting them pretty easy? I just went through the list and put together a hypothetical team in 20 minutes. Once you pick Embroar, the options slim down pretty fast as there are a lot of overlap with other pokemon since Embroar's coverage is so good. Pokemon like Krookodile easily standout since it covers 5 types Embroar doesn't, and you could almost beat the whole game with just these two. Add in an Ice, Grass, and Flying pokemon to round it all out - say Cryogonal/ Vanilluxe, Liligant, Sigilyph, etc. It's a shame Blitzle is an awful pokemon until evolution (its evolution is great btw), which pretty much necessitates using a Grass pokemon for the first 50-55% of the game. There's also too many ground pokemon or awkward match-ups (Emolga, Palpatoad, etc.) to keep it in check, even when it has type advantage. Liligant is actually really good and suffers no annoying problems. It's one of the best pokemon to deal with the various ground and water pokemon in the game, by far. Carracosta has too many weaknesses for such a slow pokemon. While, Archeops is just busted with Aerobatics and its high speed, I don't like using it to fight Rock-weak pokemon since if it does not sweep, it will get super effective damage in return. If you really want a water pokemon, the Basculin you get in a trade near the 5th gym is really good. But probably the best water pokemon is Simipour, even though Panpour is terrible. I realize Simipour is not a popular pick, but it actually has very good speed upon evolution, and unlike a lot of the water pokemon, it uses Special Attack with aligns with Surf. On top of this, Simipour learns Ice Beam, which out of all the water types that can learn Ice Beam, it will do the most damage with it - and can potentially 1hko a dragon if it's a bit over-leveled while the others are destined to 2 or 3hko with their respective ice moves even if they are over-leveled. An Ice pokemon would be better, but there might not be the room for it. Simipour is a great sweeper - got the right stats for it and special attack is really good to have rather than physical against the targets you need it for. I will admit, it's a shame you have to use HM moves on actual pokemon unlike Sword and Shield and Sun and Moon - I wouldn't use this pokemon if I didn't have to - but it is what it is. Lastly, I don't mean to be rude, but Stoutland is a meme pick, surely. You mean to say with Embroar and Krookodile on your team, you still need a Stoutland for ghost and psychic pokemon? You really need this normal-type pokemon to take up an entire slot? If you're playing optimally, Stouland is going to warm the bench. Yes, it can be an HM Slave of sorts, but you can go Embroar to use Strength and Simipour to use the 3 water HM's.
Seismitoad is much better than Simipour and Carracosta only has 2 weakness, since with solid rock,Eletric deals less damage,he slow but has great attack and defense
6:47 Hold it, boys! Before you just toss Pansage away, let me have a quick....perhaps not counter-argument, but a reason to keep Pansage around. See, while granted, at first glance he's not THAT strong starting out, he can be surprisingly powerful as you progress. Level him up to use Seed Bomb, find a Leaf Stone and give him a Miracle Seed, and you have a Grass Type that while granted, MAY be a glass cannon, can do surprisingly well against the other Gym Leaders once evolved into Simisage and given a few TMs for a boost.
joinmarch76 I really like Simisage, but the other monkeys, not so much. I wish he had better stats and coverage though, I'm in Pinwheel Forrest right now and it already seems my Pansage is way behind my other members stat wise, and I can't think of many good moves to fill up his 4 slots.
Cjdubs Two words, my good man: Grass Knot and Seed Bomb. Seed Bomb you can learn naturally, you just have to be patient about it. And Grass Knot you can get in the Pinwheel Forest after you beat the Nacrene Gym.
Trainer: Man Only having this Pignite is so Lame! “Gets to Route 4” Okay looks like my team is done for the whole game, time to do 3 hours of grinding!
I'm currently playing it through for the 2nd time technically 1st(never beat the game the first time and dont remember anything from it) and I feel your comment in my soul
Vanillite is honestly so underrated for this generation, you get it right outside the ground gym which it does well against, and the flying and dragon gyms, and it gets access to great steel moves like flash cannon right before the ice gym as well as having decent defensive properties to take out hydreigon, and zekrom
2 things. 1. FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE LOVES EMBOAR AS MUCH AS I DO! 2. If you really don't want Emboar, you can scoop up Serperior then get a Litwick in the Celestial Tower and you can evolve it with a dusk stone which you can find on Route 10 after beating Cheren
And since you're losing Emboar, you can replace Krookodile with a Scrafty which is. Dark and Fighting type which has access to Crunch, Stone Edge, and High Jump Kick
This gives me so much insight! In literally all the Pokémon games I’ve played, I go with the same basic skeleton for my trainer team: Fire type, Water type, Grass type, Flying type (for fly or another Pokémon that can learn fly like Flygon), a HM slave, and a final Pokémon that can be any type that doesn’t have the same types as 2 other Pokémon or the same weaknesses as 2 other Pokémon. In some games, I combine the types together for more room to use cooler types (like using a Ludicolo and a Talonflame on the same team). I definitely need to think more about using a team like the one showed in this video more often.
I think that Zebstrika would be a great team member in Pokémon Black/White. It can learn some great stab Electric type moves, and it gives you a great advantage against Skyla's team.
Plus, with it being a fast physical attacker, you're bound to get a hit first. The only thing not good about this Pokémon is it's defense, which there are a lot of ways to get around this problem.
Eelektross > Zebstrika. Just run a special E tross and it stomps with Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Grass Knot & Volt Switch. I also suggest using Seismitoad over Caracosta. Archeops is a much better flying type than say Sigilyph, if you know how to use it. Keep it at 70% ish health and you're destroying things for days.
Honestly, i tried out this team recently and i couldn’t believe how unbalanced it is. Generally i like all of the Pokemon individually but they are a poor combo. Half of the team is weak to fighting types. Of course you have two that are great against fighting in ghost and flying/psychic but if you consider all of the scraggys and scraftys that team plasma has, it feels really awful in the midgame/early late game. No Pokemon with decent special defense (apart from Koffagrigus, but he still has more defense so its a bonus feature i‘d say) which gave me a lot of trouble. The worst part was when i almost got beat by a simipour at victory road bc i didn‘t heal up and he one shot almost all my pokemon bc they couldn’t take a hit. (I was like 2 Level below at most). Had more success with my original Team. I often try out Umbreons Teams in my re- playtroughs, they are generally good/balanced but this one isn‘t. UPDATE: Beat the Game. Literally never had a worse experience at the Elite Four. T‘was esier being 10 Levels under in others(LeafGreen f.e.) than 2 in this playthrough. At the Elite Four the weaknesses of this Team came to full friution. To sum it up: Burned Full Revives etc. as if there was no tomorrow just to not lose because i was down to one Pokemon constantly in the last two fights. 4 Tries at the elite four. (Psychic and Ghost were awful).
Same I was trying this team for the second play through of white I had no water defense and i couldn't get fire or ice fang o my stoutlan because he says its with move relearner and obviously the move RELEARNER is Not a move TUTOR
@@aronabraham4657 Simipour really countered my team I had too hope he did not burn my Zebstrika on a Switch in which he might as well had serene grace for all the times Simipour burned it
Yo you should tho! I know if you haven't yet you probably won't be swayed, but it's got probably some of the best story and music of all the games. (I'm partial to Sinnoh, but B/W was objectively awesome)
Braviary isn't good in B/W because you get Rufflet late and it evolves late. It's really good in White 2 however because you can get a fully evolved Braviary on Route 4 at Level 25 iirc
I think Chandelure is a better option than Cofagrigus, it has more coverage and does well against pretty much the same teams while rocking the highest special attack stat in the game of all non legendary Pokémon. Also I think Unfezant would be a better option, since it's special attack stat isn't that terrible until you get Fly and Return is also a good option.
Hyrule Legend Well, if it was just White version, I would've picked Braviary, but that doesn't work now. I think Unfezant isn't that good, but I don't think Sigilyph is that good either.
Steen Zaragoza-Faoagali I easily played through white with only ghost types, some double types complement each other. For example, Chandelure covers Emboar's weakness to psychic types and Emboar can take rock types without too much trouble.
I'm replaying White and my team is shaping up to be: Emboar Stoutland Sigylyph Seismitoad Galvantula Haxorus Gens 7 and 8 made me miss GOOD Pokemon games, so I went back to Gen 5, a criminally underrated generation of Pokemon games. Black and White are arguably the best in the series along with Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
I'm about to restart my Pokemon White game, is this a good team to have: 1. Serperior 2. Stoutland 3. Seismitoad 4. Archeops 5. Galvantula 6. Chandelure
Hey guys what do you think of this team Serpirior Chandelure Krookodile Seismitoad Braviary Hydreigon I also would love to have an electross in my team :/
That Guy who made another account for mobile yeah but what if the opponent use block the best way to Look at a. team is question ita weakness and improve
He has ghost and dark to deal with psychic, and seismetoad destroys fire. Seismitoad and serperior can probaly take care of a non primal groudon. Hey, you know what would be great? An Archeops.
Another great flying type for this gen would be Rufflet and Braviary. While not super fast, it's actually pretty tanky for a bird, and it hits hard. Like, super hard. The only downside is that you can only get late in the game.
They confused what Assurance does with Payback. Payback gets doubled if you move after the opponent, Assurance gets doubled power if the opponent had already received damage that turn.
there should be a Excadrill counters Elesa as a Drilbur, can sweep Skyla and Brycen with Rock Slide, resists everything Drayden does, has Shadow Claw for Shauntal (still needs support for Jellicent and Golurk), Sweeps Caitlin with X Scissor (needs help with Bronzong), counters Grimsleys Bisharp and Liepard (and beats Drapion with Earthquake), Beats N's Zekrom, Klingklang and Vanniluxe, if mold breaker beats ghetsis's Elektross and Bisharp and beats Alders Vanilluxe and Volcarona
I cannot work with a Hydreigon, not after the ptsd that Ghestis' gave me. Also, it's a pain in the ass to evolve and it's not really worth it. A really good example of a Pokemon that is worth this time would be Garchomp. It has a versatile moveset and typing that really comes in clutch a lot. I had one on my Ultra Moon team during my second playthrough and didn't regret it at all.
Since it does depend on the other Pokémon’s weight, it’s very unreliable. I used it as a level 40 emboar against Brycen’s beartic and it only took away about half his HP. I had better luck just flame charging him, which ended in a one hit KO
I like Siesmitoad better. Ground typing helps neutralize the electric types and Grass isn't a prevalent typing which emboar is already there for. That ground coverage along with the defensive stats helps deal with Zekrom and Reshiram. Poison touch ability also gives you a status condition which can be applied as well granting synergy with Hex on Cofrigigas.
Snivy-Servine-Serperior, Panpour-Simipour, Purrlion-Liepard, Darumaka-Darmanitan, Sawk, Reshiram. My power team (which is none of the recommended) ∩^ω^∩
Edward Pirie I used Archeops and it powerful but you are going to have to heal it every time it goes below half or it attack will but cut in half. Sigilith doesn’t have the problem, but I wanted to use another psychic type for my team.
You know what would be a really fun idea? When your best team series is done you could put all of the teams against each other to see witch is the strongest.
I've found Zebstrika to be an extremely solid choice, despite its lack of gym leaders that its effective against. Having a move that can't miss (shock wave) at the electric gym is almost a must have with the Emolgas and their Double Teaming. *shudder* Also, it can know volt switch, which can be a huge advantage later in the game. it also means that when you get Zekrom (in white, sorry black players with a fire legendary), you can reliably switch it out without losing a type on your team.
Zebstrika is just outclassed I found that it is only ever useful as a water type counter (Excadrill just does its job better for flying types with Rock Slide)
I'm so glad you mentioned Cofagrigus. He's a seriously underrated pokemon, I was able to perform a clean sweep on marshal and pretty much every other physical sweeper using this strategy: 1. Use power split to give the physical attacker cofagrigus's shitty attack stat 2. Use Will-O-Wisp to lower the attack stat even further and slowly drain health (unless it's a fire type, then you'll have to skip this step) 3. Use shadow ball to continue to lower the opponent's health 4. Use rest to recover health whenever you get low. Rest is usually unreliable but at this point the opponent's pokemon is too crippled to be able to deal serious damage 5. If the opponent's pokemon is about to die and you want to keep Cofagrigus in, use power split again. That way when the opponent sends out their next pokemon, you can give them Cofagrigus's shitty attack instead of accidentally giving them the opponent's good attack. It takes a while to set up, but it's reliable as hell.
I really liked how you explained everything really clearly, but (in my *opinion*), there's a better team, which i used almost all the time. This team is: Samurott Chandelure Ferrothorn Elektross Krokodille Sigilyph Great team nonetheless, though
Gen 5 is easily the hardest generation and gen 6 was a real step down on difficulty giving the exp share way to early and megas while your opponents have none
Personally, I would’ve swapped Cofagrigus out for Chandelure. Both are excellent ghost types and even better special attackers, but I just feel that Chandelure gets a better deal with the STAB on fire type moves
Friend: So do you have any eeveelution in your team? Me: of course Friend:Oh what is it Me: Leafeon Friend: haha your joke are so funny no one use Leafeon in their team for battling... Me: .... Friend: you're not joking right?
Samurott Krookidile Sigilyph Chandelure Zebstrika Haxorus I know it will take awhile to get but compared to this team..you will be definitely better off no offense at all to mystic love you man but this team is just better in power
Gen 5 actually has 2 VERY good fire types in Chandelure and Darmanitan, which is very surprising compared to other gens, especially since you can only use gen 5 pokemon. Zebstrika isn't good though, as it loses a lot of value late game and just can't do any damage against the elite 4. Galvantula, on the other hand, wow this pokemon is good. Thunderbolt is much stronger than Zebstrika's moves, and Bug Buzz helps a lot in the elite 4, so it keeps its value all the way. Compound eyes can even allow you to run Thunder. Much better than Zebstrika. Also, Haxorus isn't really too worth it, as it is only really useful against the last gym, N and Ghetsis. Stoutland should replace it imo, as it will help you early game when you don't have the rest of your team. Samurott Stoutland Krookadile Sigilyph Darmanitan/Chandelure (Preferably darmanitan as it is easier to access and evolves quicker) Galvantula
My current Pokémon team after 8th gym badge: -Samurott (Daito) -Stoutland (Grant) -Zebstrika (Morty) -Druddigon (Katie) - Sawk (Socks) - Krookodile (Ally)
This was my first pokemon white team -Samurott -Darmanitan -Krookodile -Haxorous -Scolipede -Unfezant This Team means a lot to me cause even though black and white were not the first pokemon games I've played but these were the first pokemon games i beat completely. I love these game and i hope they get remakes soon.
So I really like snivy and I want it to be my starter, would this be a good team to use with it? 1)Serperior 2)Galvantula 3)Krookodile 4)Chandelure 5)Sigilyph 6)Carracosta
The electross line I feel should have been on this team because it has zero weaknesses and also can help out with Skyla at that point and some other teams
You should probably re-read my comment, I didn't say Emboar's design was bad at all, I think Emboar is a cool pokemon, I just think Tepig looks silly and doofy.
How is a big pig with some fire on it "Good" at least Infernape isn't that lazy of a design? Infernape literally has the same colors as the Tepig line.
everyones talking about snivy vs tepig when im sitting here with oshawott
Ivxy lol, I'm pretty much the same
@Ivxy Relatable. I have problems using great pokemon in terms of combat but look ugly.
Ew
SAME. He’s an cute samurai that shoots water from it’s mouth. What’s not to love?

When you get to Desert Resort and realize 2/3rds of your team can be found here...
Kronk: "Oh yeah, it's all coming together."
Marcus Stevens when I play Pokémon white I use 3 Pokémon that can be found in the desert
I feel like if you need a fire fighting type but didn't choose tepig that darumaka/darmanitan is an amazing substitute
I caught scraggy, darumaka and sigilyph in the desert which is half my team.
IMO, Archeops is leagues better than Carracosta. Ability aside, you try and see that thing with Acrobatics. Fucking bonkers how much damage that is.
Ikr
I just use Pokemon I like and do a lot of grinding
agreed I love bug type so 3 of my team are bugs :D
But...... Strong pokemon........
That’s you should play Pokémon. Good on you
Kane Domican I just use whatever looks good at the time and hope it evolves
Good! It should be about what you like, anyway. It's your team, after all! Not bashing the Best Teams, of course. These are pretty fun to watch, and they help me catch up a little bit on the generations I missed, like this one.
I call Patrat "Potrat" which means Abortion in Czech and i think it fits pretty well
Honzaj it makes it sound it's a pothead
No u
i call patrat patat and that means fries in dutch
I think it's a play on the words "Pack Rat." Because it stores things in it's cheeks.
I call it square Cuz patrat is square in romanian

Finally Someone likes Sigilyph. Its so underrated.
And deserves being underated its so ugly and bad it does nothing horrible design and its backstory is horrible
Brain Face I prefer braviary more
If you're patient I really like going Roost, Calm Mind, Stored Power, and Psycho Shift. With Magic Guard and Flame Orb it's really annoying and hits hard.
Andrew Nielsen it would. Be already dead
Yeah I have one and it’s amazing!
Considering Unova is my favorite region, this is my favorite team I've ever used in game, period.
my mmom got me my game i am twelve!!!
+Evil Trapezium Yeah, but you can get lillipup early in the game, so that's why it's on there. But it is interesting to have Sawsbuck.
He might be a little tough but considering the fact that his Hydreigon only has Special Attacks, he can't take advantage of my cripplingly low 30 Physical Defense with Lonely nature.
you can run wild charge on stoutland
My final team is
Samurott
.Aqua Tail
.Slash
.Surf
.Megahorn
.Holding:Mystic Water
.Ability: Torrent
This moveset can be imrpoved. The attack and sp. attack stats on Samurott are very close so I want to replace either Aqua Tail or Surf with a move that will give me better type coverage against the Elite Four.
Excadrill
.Rock Slide
.Earthquake
.Swords Dance
.Strength
.Holding: Rocky Helmet
.Ability: Sand Rush
Another work in progress, Swords Dance is perfect for boosting it's already massive attack stat making it an excellent sweeper, Earthquake and Rock slide are great moves and I have it holding the Rocky Helmet to punish physical attackers since Excadrill's defensive stats are pretty low. I'm considering replacing Strength for Return with max happiness once I'm able to fly straight to the Pokemon League.
Archeops
.Acrobatics
.Shadow Claw
.U-Trun
.Fly
.Holding: Nothing
.Ability: Defeatist
It's easy to tell that Archeops was an attempt at making another Slaking.
Eelektross
.Discharge
.Flash
.Crunch
.Thunder Wave
.Holding: Amulet Coin
.Ability: Levitate
My Eelektross doesn't take advantage of it's impressive special and physical attack stats as much as i would like it to but being a beefy Pokemon I gave it Flash and kept Thunder wave for the purpose of stalling more powerful Pokemon, since it doesn't have any weaknesses. It can paralyze opponents for speed purposes and use Flash a few times to make Pokemon like Ghetsis's Hydreigon allot less threatening since they won't be landing hits as much. You might call this cheap, and it is I won't deny that, but it's also effective.
Chandelure
.Will-O-Wisp
.Flame Burst
.Memento
.Shadow Ball
Holding:Spell Tage
Ability: Flash Fire
Chandelure is somewhat of a sacrifice ploy if it needs to be, with the move Memento killing itself to harshly lowering the targets Attack and Special Attack.
Haxorus
.X-Scissor
.Dragon Dance
.Poison Jab
.Dragon Claw
.Holding: Dragon Fang
I probably should have picked up a Physic or Ice type instead but my Haxorus still serves pretty well.
Merm instead of haxouros I used Leavanny other than that my team was the same as yours
I only used Excadrill on your team because it’ll replace my Seismitoad
14:12 wow that's some great quality advice there...
Cjdubs I can seed bomb crunch acrobatics shadow claw. and yes it is a glass cannon, but just catch a bulky pokemon or two to even your team out.
If you're really pressed for Grass types though, Ferrothorn and Amoonguss are miles ahead of the weed monkey.
Idk, I got Pansear and I'm just using him as an HM slave until I find better Pokemon to replace him. Not gonna level him at all.

Who would you remove to use Vanillite?
Everybody gangsta until you first meet sawk

Ry-Guy123 what s your team
I personally like Eelectross better cause of better coverage and no weaknesses.
But it doesnt get good physical moves
Same I was trying this team for the second play through of white I had no water defense and i couldn't get fire or ice fang o my stoutlan because he says its with move relearner and obviously the move RELEARNER is Not a move TUTOR

isnt braviary a good flying type pokemon?
Braviary is a version exclusive.
so is it good?
MrDexter Braviery comes super late and evolves at Level 52. For reference, your Final Boss has a 'mon at Level 54
It comes to late in the game, but this video is for a team that can be used in both games, not just one.
I agree with the Chandelure part, but Unfezant is pretty bad.
XxGigifabulousxX but that means 2 fire types. Double types can rarely be excused
XxGigifabulousxX maybe but chandelure has more weaknesses than cofagrigus.
This vídeo just needs a remake IMO
Yip, he'll be getting around to it pretty soon.
Emboar was meh tbh i prefer Samurrot despite his limited movepool or Serperior
I prefer snivy cause it is a great setting up pokemon with moves like gastro acid, synthesis, and Giga Drain
Pablo Delgado
I prefer emboar with belly drum flare blitz and a sitrus berry
Samurott is probably the worst starter tbh
I'd rather use a Darmanitan than an Emboar, because Emboar is not my taste

I feel like there should be a hydreigon on this team
It levels up way to late to evolve it into a hydreigon there for not worth it
there should be a Excadrill counters Elesa as a Drilbur, can sweep Skyla and Brycen with Rock Slide, resists everything Drayden does, has Shadow Claw for Shauntal (still needs support for Jellicent and Golurk), Sweeps Caitlin with X Scissor (needs help with Bronzong), counters Grimsleys Bisharp and Liepard (and beats Drapion with Earthquake), Beats N's Zekrom, Klingklang and Vanniluxe, if mold breaker beats ghetsis's Elektross and Bisharp and beats Alders Vanilluxe and Volcarona
Too late to catch,I would love if he avaiable early
Man I love gen 5 but this video made me love it even more!
I'd say Scolepede is a solid pokemon. Fast, hits hard, can take a physical beating.
what about heat crash??? emboar's signature move??
Since it does depend on the other Pokémon’s weight, it’s very unreliable. I used it as a level 40 emboar against Brycen’s beartic and it only took away about half his HP. I had better luck just flame charging him, which ended in a one hit KO
I always run with heat crash because Emboar is fat it can take a lot of damage
@@papaquaalude8227 no no heat crash depends on the user (emboar) weight beartic probably weighs more so it did minimum damage
My black/white team is lvl 100 haxorus,lvl 87 simisage,lvl 74 durant,lvl 62 Zekrom,lvl 62 Rapidash,and lvl 61 Wigglytuff
Yeah major issue with this team is that it has no effective way of dealing with water types.

Eddie W Kinda unnecessary too call him a loser.
Snivy-Servine-Serperior, Panpour-Simipour, Purrlion-Liepard, Darumaka-Darmanitan, Sawk, Reshiram. My power team (which is none of the recommended) ∩^ω^∩

Sawk is a god honestly

Are you considering blaze black/volt white 2?
I love Drayano hacks but sadly no.
Please make one for that? Pretty please.
MysticUmbreon where do you play these randomizers?
Anthony Jimenez Rom Places online
MysticUmbreon I would like to play but I'm not completely sure how to

It's lillipup isn't it?
MysticUmbreon: Sigilyph is the best flying type in Black and White.
Archeops: Hold my beer.
Edward Pirie I used Archeops and it powerful but you are going to have to heal it every time it goes below half or it attack will but cut in half. Sigilith doesn’t have the problem, but I wanted to use another psychic type for my team.
You know what would be a really fun idea? When your best team series is done you could put all of the teams against each other to see witch is the strongest.
woah guys they're doing Pokemon Black and White 2 separately!! did you hear it enough in the first 2 minutes of the video
Solid team 👍🏼
My team was the grass starter, conkeldurr, hydreigon, escavalier, golurk, and darmanitan
That awkward moment when you're pokemon team isn't here...
👁️👄👁️
I'm doing it wrong huh?
I've found Zebstrika to be an extremely solid choice, despite its lack of gym leaders that its effective against. Having a move that can't miss (shock wave) at the electric gym is almost a must have with the Emolgas and their Double Teaming. *shudder*
Also, it can know volt switch, which can be a huge advantage later in the game. it also means that when you get Zekrom (in white, sorry black players with a fire legendary), you can reliably switch it out without losing a type on your team.
Zebstrika is just outclassed I found that it is only ever useful as a water type counter (Excadrill just does its job better for flying types with Rock Slide)
I'm so glad you mentioned Cofagrigus. He's a seriously underrated pokemon, I was able to perform a clean sweep on marshal and pretty much every other physical sweeper using this strategy:
1. Use power split to give the physical attacker cofagrigus's shitty attack stat
2. Use Will-O-Wisp to lower the attack stat even further and slowly drain health (unless it's a fire type, then you'll have to skip this step)
3. Use shadow ball to continue to lower the opponent's health
4. Use rest to recover health whenever you get low. Rest is usually unreliable but at this point the opponent's pokemon is too crippled to be able to deal serious damage
Only setback of cofagrigus is it's defensive stats. But we can use it
Tortuga's final move set is Scald/surf/waterfall, smack down, focus blast, rock slide, and blizzard
Ya mean tirtouga??
6 moves?
I just evolved an axew into haxorus with swords dance to 1HKO every enemy, even in the elite four
I'm doing a series of all the pokemon locations of black & white so check my channel if you're interested
What about leavanny? Or Volcarona? Or Scolipede? Or Chandelure? All of these great Pokémon
I go for looks in my playthroughs, Snivy takes the top pick every time
Snivy evolution line looks ugly and underwhelming
Ottawotra
I really liked how you explained everything really clearly, but (in my *opinion*), there's a better team, which i used almost all the time. This team is:
Samurott
Chandelure
Ferrothorn
Elektross
Krokodille
Sigilyph
Great team nonetheless, though
Santi p I'm gonna use a mix of mystics team, and yours, and a bit of my personal spice 😜
Karen Smith chandelure appears to late in the game
9:51 COFAG?! I feel personally attacked 😂
Really?? 😒😒
I think gen 5 has the wierdest pokemon. The gym leader is so easy to beat yet it is so hard to level up your pokemon :/
Gen 5 is easily the hardest generation and gen 6 was a real step down on difficulty giving the exp share way to early and megas while your opponents have none
Levelling up is not that hard in gen 5. You can battle highly leveled Pokemons very early
my team is electross, samurott, sawk, reuniclus, Lilligant, and Krookodile.
I call my pokemons "My Butt"
Personally, I would’ve swapped Cofagrigus out for Chandelure. Both are excellent ghost types and even better special attackers, but I just feel that Chandelure gets a better deal with the STAB on fire type moves
And then the will-o-wisp and hex combo is really great and even better if you add a spell tag
Friend: So do you have any eeveelution in your team?
Me: of course
Friend:Oh what is it
Me: Leafeon
Friend: haha your joke are so funny no one use Leafeon in their team for battling...
Me: ....

Subaru Natsuki bro, thanks alot for this!
Thank you soooo much, I mean it must have taken days for you to identify and clarify all of this so thank you and it was very helpful
Samurott
Krookidile
Sigilyph
Chandelure
Zebstrika
Haxorus
I know it will take awhile to get but compared to this team..you will be definitely better off no offense at all to mystic love you man but this team is just better in power
Burger Messiah you can get blitzle before Lenora
Burger Messiah that's a good team
I'd swap Chandalure for Darmanitan but otherwise that's a great team
Swap zebstrika for Galvantula and I'm all good
Gen 5 actually has 2 VERY good fire types in Chandelure and Darmanitan, which is very surprising compared to other gens, especially since you can only use gen 5 pokemon.
Samurott
Stoutland
Krookadile
Sigilyph
Darmanitan/Chandelure (Preferably darmanitan as it is easier to access and evolves quicker)
Galvantula
These teams always completely forget HMs.
Thankfully they removed Rock Smash
Samurote can kill half the team with a water type move and use ice beam to kill the flyer then with two mons, what are you going to do next?
ice beam is better just sayin'
Ice Beam is only attainable post-E4.
My current Pokémon team after 8th gym badge:
-Samurott (Daito)
-Stoutland (Grant)
-Zebstrika (Morty)
-Druddigon (Katie)
- Sawk (Socks)
- Krookodile (Ally)
Aimee Cope ur right! Oof sorry 🙃
Them: yea lets make a whole team
me: sword dance + haxorus?
I don’t trust this team a lot
When I was trying to defeat "RESHI..." it started to stop... I CANT MOOOOVVEE 😐😕😟😞:(
where is ur grass type Sawsbuck instead of stoutland
I'm doing a series of all the pokemon locations of black & white so check my channel if you're interested
This was my first pokemon white team
-Samurott
-Darmanitan
-Krookodile
-Haxorous
-Scolipede
-Unfezant
This Team means a lot to me cause even though black and white were not the first pokemon games I've played but these were the first pokemon games i beat completely. I love these game and i hope they get remakes soon.
Team snivy?
Maro does Art this is late but yess omg I cant believe people are saying snivy is the worst serperior legit carried me
Draco GamingZ Oh wow you came to this vid late but here I am!
Yes Snivy is the best starter in gen 5
Nah, its all about team magicarp!..... jk
Maro does Art you guys better be trolling. I know magikarp guy who thinks he's funny is, but I dunno about you snivy huggers...
So I really like snivy and I want it to be my starter, would this be a good team to use with it?
1)Serperior
2)Galvantula
3)Krookodile
4)Chandelure
5)Sigilyph
6)Carracosta
In my opinion no teams best or worst everyone has there own flaws and strengths use any as u like them
chandelure is very weak
@@uzumakinaruto9877 Chandelure has a special attack of 140 and by the time you get it you can easily get shadow ball and Fire Blast
The electross line I feel should have been on this team because it has zero weaknesses and also can help out with Skyla at that point and some other teams
I think Flash Cannon would be a better coverage move than charge beam, has 100 accuracy and covers weakness to rock and ice
I just derped through the game using what would be a lv 100 serperior by the end of the game
Whether you like most pokemon or not I feel like everyone pokemon has a place in everyone's heart because these are the games most people grew up with
Why does everyone put a lot of hate on tepig
At least for me I thought Tepig had a much sillier design than the others, plus I was getting sick of always having a fire/fighting starter.
henshaw33 fire fighting type kind of suck
Nooo Mergawd Can't Change Name After 90 Days T-T I didn't say that
You should probably re-read my comment, I didn't say Emboar's design was bad at all, I think Emboar is a cool pokemon, I just think Tepig looks silly and doofy.
How is a big pig with some fire on it "Good" at least Infernape isn't that lazy of a design? Infernape literally has the same colors as the Tepig line.
i think i'l go with
1.Golurk
2.Emboar
3.Reshiram
4.Krokodile
5.Jellicent
6.Fraxorus
