I hate touch screen in cars. Really inconvenient and dangerous when on the move. I have to agree with Mazda's approach.
But it is good to have touch screen as an option, while you still have the rotator. It's a pain to do typing with the rotator alone...
Exactly! Many people in particular reviewers seem to not get grasp of that point. All I need in a car while I am driving is easy access to the radio and climate controls.
@@JanWyFoo You should try voice control. Even on my phone I use voice input rather than typing which is much faster.
@@Latitube In my country, we have roads and places that isn't named in English. So the voice recognition system won't work properly.
I like Ford Focus. I just use the buttons on the steering wheel to move up and down the screen. I try to like Mazda 3 but the screen looks weird and it doesnt have CD player :(((((

The liftback is a carbon copy of Ferrari while the sedan looks like an Alfa

Idk about you guys. But rev happy engines are one of the best feelings ever. Nothing feels worse than a random downshift and then you're stuck with a slow rev.

looks much better in life especially with red color. i would throw in carbon fiber for the rear / front bumper lid and trunk as well as the side mirror looking sick.

Tho diff price point, but the new yaris could reli take the "less is more" approach. Mazda 3 hatch looks like a mastrpiece.

I really like this guy's presentation and humor. One thing I don't agree with is the touch screen thing. I have a touch screen in my current car and I'd happily go back to controlling everything from a center console. I don't think touch screens in cars make sense. They never have.
I got the Mazda 3 from 2016 titanium flash white leather full option but i let it go for the new 2019 .Now i have the new Mazda 3 sedan machine grey 2019 from jun for here in Belguim its full option skycruise .
but again like on the 2016 model as on 2019 model . As i see to your channel you got more option on the Mazda 3 . Japan must give the option world wide .
And not only for them self . the air fans for the back or cd player or the sun roof that part is all missing on the europe Mazda 3 i think as Japan give the same option world wide .More people will pay for it .
I'm not talking about the engine that has to do with emessi zone .

Skyactive gearbox will learn your driving style (aggressive or lite foot) and then remap according your driving style. I like how gearbox react automatically with engine breaking during downhill. It brilliant. I drive previous gen skyactiv

Hey GC, I love to have 2019 Mazda 3 Liftback 2.0 High Plus as a daily driving vehicle and believed that the quality will be very good just like my 2018 CX-5 KF 2.0GLS.
A BIG BUT:
Ever since July 2018, I faced some Product Defects. I found out that Mazda Malaysia AfterSales Services are so POOR that I am going to take TRIBUNAL with them with the Product Defects Issue.
It makes me think that whether should I buy another New Mazda in near future.
The e-Parking Brake will only automatically release with your seat belt ON.
Nope. Not in this car.
@@autobuzzmy Yes it is, I owned this car. It is an annoying safety measure but it sort of forces you to wear your seatbelt.
Good move on Mazda for upgrade from touchscreen to tactile/physical buttons and levers.
Things i need to Mention
1st Walk Around lock is not new my Mazda 2 Skyactiv 2015 already have it
2nd i like the lock button at the boot coz everytime after i move kids at car seat from shopping when i walk to the back won't auto lock one of the door are open when my wife settle my son after all door lock i will be at the back settle all shopping and keep stroller that button is very useful to me i can lock .... i just hope mazda will have unlock button at front aircond section there to my wife can open to me .....
3rd after i use keyless entry system i seldom put it out or leave it inside the car , also mazda will auto lock after you leave the car so i don't think will have people got this problem lock itself ..... also if key inside did the car will lock when you press key button at boot there ? coz mazda if my wife key is in the beg inside the car i can't even lock will alert from beep sound
Car reviewers live for the hot takes. Give them a touch screen, they’ll complain about the reachability and then say “what’s the point then?”. Don’t give them one and they’ll complain about not having one. 😓

Bro look at mazda interior the soft touch and the luxurious material. Turbo also troublesome need more service maintenance . Not even close to civic. Driving experience also better than civic. The price is suitable to its material and etc.

They're basically the same car, the cx-30 is just a crossover version of the mazda 3. U shud test drive both of them and see which one u like more

It’s gonna be very expensive to replace a windscreen since the head up display is built into the windscreen. Btw good and honest review GC.
The HUD projector is still on the dashboard, separate from the windscreen. The HUD reflects off the windscreen now instead of a plastic piece in previous Mazdas.
@@manwell235 maybe it need a special wind screen for that purpose?

Compare to Altis 2019?
In terms of interior build quality, I dare to say M3 is far more better than the altis or even the ride handling too. And I dont think that Mazda can be still comparable to the other mass production brand as they really step up their game this time. Just my two cents #peace

wtf, everyone says crap of the display screen be far and not be touch screen. That is the way it should be done. Touch screens gets all dirty, most of them are crap, slow and confusing. The only advantage of it would be to write an address into the navigation. I do like that Mazda have sense in terms of design.
As for the lack of power, sure, the car could use a turbo, but, if we think about it, that is not a racing car, want power? Go get a focus, or Gti of any brand. This is a car for comfort and pece of mine, and people over 40 like me, appreciate this things, that does not mean I do not like to go fast like a maniac from time to time.
The overall design and build quality looks better than the Civic. If it isn’t the price i think civic is no match for this. IMO.
Definitely, you can buy an Accord at this price point. Let's wait for the ckd Mazda3

Tbh, i quite disappointed with Mazda 3 Sedan design. The previous generation way more better looking with muscles and more garang look. This one is quite boring for me. Seems like Mazda put a lot more focus to the hatchback and toned down the sedan. Well I can't say much about the hatchback. It's such a beauty!
