I moved platforms last year after they decided to double costs. And unfortunately getting a free GB course up has been low priority. Tell you what il do instead though il cut it all into one video and pop it on UA-cam (I think tuesday next week)
Most of tutorials I’ve seen just show how they created their more or less crap music. This one is a real intro tutorial. A pretty good one. Many compliments Unders.
Thank You this was really helpful and the explanation was one the best I've viewed. I thought Part 2 would be essential to create a series for beginners. I could understand so much more about channels like yours if there were complete tutorials in one place. Instead, I and thousands of other interested people wander about UA-cam Looking for All the information needed to continue. It's really frustrating but I'll keep looking until I find what I need.
There's a 6 part video series coming in january. If you download the guide here you will be on the email list for when it goes live. And yes its free. www.warriorsound.courses/musicians-streaming-guide-Ebook
Fantastic intro! Thank you for not glossing over the basic GUI navigations/controls and jumping right to the advanced virtual instrument stuff. Been looking for something like this for days. I can't seem to find Part 2. A little help? :-)
Could some one help me out please I am trying to get to a screen on my GarageBand. I was in track view and had a vocal recording and a loop in two separate tracks, I don’t know what I did but the track screen changed and kind of extended and each track had a line going through it. I don’t know if that makes sense but if anyone can help it’d be awesome thanks
Sounds like you accidentally switched automation on maybe. Double Tap an hold on the audio track image (drums or whatever shows up) an look for an automation option
I agree with Paula…..a plethora of videos about the subject, but no clear, basic info such as what I want! I'm a relatively new owner of a Yamaha P-125 digital piano, having downgraded from a Kawai MP10. Reason? …Weight! The Kawai- in excess of 30Kg, whereas the P-125 is just around 11kg. I just need basic info on how to record songs in both audio and midi using Yamaha's Smartpianist app. Recording on the MP10 was a breeze…..just record into the instrument, then choose either save as audio or midi, load to a USB stick and transfer to my MacBook Pro….simple! What I have failed to find (and this video in no exception) is how to do this on the P-125, using iPad and GarageBand. Please, please, someone provide a link to a utube video that might help!
