I am fairly good DIY'er can turn my hand to most things..... Plastering a dark art as far as I am concerned. The ceiling you did in a previous episode masterful.
Would bonding 60 + multifinish be an appropriate solution to fill in an interior wall..next to a boiler flue/vent from interior kitchen wall to exterior wall? I have seen other vids that talk about using scrim tape/mesh embedded in the bonding coat but not seen anyone patching plaster around cylindrical objects. The patch area is 3.5ft x 2ft that i would hope to flatten into existing wall. I guess its similar to the chase you infilled in this video except i would be trying to also fill around the pipe too. Your advice would be helpful 👍🏻
Multifinish is cheaper, can also give a more solid finish. It's also possible to blend it without needing any sanding. Easifill nearly always needs sanding, it is at least easy to sand though. In many cases you might want to skim the whole wall, then multifinish is essential.
Love all the videos from you guys. Informative.. entertaining and quality. Is it possible to see more decoration? That would make this complete to the point of perfection..
Nice one John , that’s the job with the colourful walls 😉. Quick question, has a sparky EVER ! Actually thanked you for cleaning out the boxes 🤨🤨😆. Fry up Friday tomorrow boys 🤜🏻🤛🏻🧱👍🏼

After you filled the chasing with the bonding 60, did you pva the bonding before applying the multi finish? Cheers.
Why did you use multi finish for the 2nd and 3rd but not the 1st ?
Best video by far 🎉
Thank you. I hope you found it helpful.
All the best, John 👷🏻♂️
did you apply SBR before plastering?
Any advice on what primer to use before painting?
I have exposed a little area of brickwork behind where my kitchen sink was when taking old tiles off. What can i use please to make good?
Nice one always struggling with plaster patches . Yours looks good. Nice video as usual. Well done.
Brilliant film, thank you 👍👍👍
Can you use bonding on plaster board rough coat then finesh with multi finest thanks👍

easy 20,40,60 are much easier to finely sand than multifinish so take that into consideration if you want a perfect wall.
Brilliant instructional video.
Why would you use finishing plaster over easyfill? Is a case of cost?

Plastering, a thing I'm getting a man in to do over the next few weeks so at least I know what is going on and how hard he's been working 😁
Fantastic video guys.
What gloves are you wearing in this vid Jon?
Hi John…well done ✅
😊👍
Be hopes there's no lighting under them kitchen units if so defo a call back
easy 20 is much better for finishing the multifinish. It's hard to get the multifinish flat with existing wall as it doesn't sand well at all
Who cut that end panel on the wall unit 😱
I don't think they'll be getting a job with A&E anytime soon 😂
Where'd you get that brush from 😂
Not sand the filler down?

That easifill20 looks white but the easifill 60 I bought is unfortunately light brown.
Why would u easy fill ur patching...be a professional...scrape back ur backing and leave ur top coat level with the existing plaster work
How do you scrape back your backing?
Try using an oozy box around the socket next time
Me personally wudnt have touched this job with what looks like a new fitted kitchen and a patch is a patch
Can we see John ice a cake next time
I swear I’ve seen this video a few months ago
