How to Create Gel Stickers using our New Fantasy Nail Forms!

- Hiya Duck in today's video I’m going to show you how to create your very own nail stickers keep watching!
Behold the brand new Fantasy Nail Forms these forms have many different applications from salon use to competition use, but in today’s video, we use them to make stickers!

So today I’m going to be painting Nezuko from Demon Slayer I'll figure out what size tip my sticker is going to be stuck onto then I can find the form that is the best fit for the nail, in this case, that's the letter D then Ill start this design by sketching out my design on to the fantasy nail form using a nude colour I’m using No Filter and my Lily Liner Brush flash curing periodically to lock in the marks I’m happy with.
Now I'll take the Baba Cass brush and fill in the skin tones and I'll do two coats of that curing in between I'll use white to create the collar and then I’ll use Dan to fill In the dress and ill hi light that with lickable, then ill use Pistachio at the stomach and to create the bamboo across the mouth, then ill use Void to create the Jacket and Hair then ill use my Lilly liner and pull some line work through the colours and draw in the face, then ill fill the eyes using Dan and hi light using Lickable, ill use Hot Cocoa and pumpkin spice to hi-light the hair and add in a few other finishing details.
Now I'll create a Nail for the sticker I'll start with a thin layer of the base coat and give that a cure then I'll give that two full cover coats of summer I'll take sassy on my abba dabba and create a mottled texture in the background and cure that
Then I'll release the image from the form by giving it a gentle squeeze and twist and I'll place that on the nail and trim that to get a good fit then ill topcoat buff and then topcoat again and that's it! I hope you enjoyed the video and I’ll catch you in the next one! T’Rah Duck

Omg this is PERFECT for doing nail art using your non dominant hand , you can do all the fancy stuff because you won’t have to be able to paint with both hands!!! This is such a good idea!! ❤❤

These are awesome! I've been using nail form backing paper to make nail stickers for years but these being curved is a game changer! My dad is a great artist so he makes my nail stickers. Definitely gonna buy these and see when he thinks! ❤

Can you use these to make stickers for later (like if i wanted to make designs say a week in advance)? if the sticker isn't sealed surely it'll get all kinds of stuff stuck to them in between use. If so how would you stick the sticker onto the nail later?
Yes, That's the idea, you can make things for later. wipe the sticky layer off and it won't have anything sticking to it. The video shows how to attach to the nail. xx

Some people do prefer to paint on a nail itself, I do it all of the time. but sometimes, when you have a client in and they have to sit completely still for hours, this is a good alternative. You can make it in advance and then you can stick it on the client, thus saving time, and being able to get another client in.
@@KirstyMeakin Yes so true. That's a good thing more clients means the bills and needs are getting took care of that's always a good thing.
Also it’s good if u want detailed designs on both hands because I find it difficult to paint complex designs using my non dominant hand so this is the perfect tool for that

So how do you know the gel that is adhering your made decal down is fully curing? As it’s not transparent.

Only one question. Do you cure and wipe the nail before applying the sticker? Or do you leave the adhesion layer to help secure the sticker on? Great job I'm sure your daughter will want to keep the nail.
Sometimes I use foil gel then place my sticker 😂

What’s the benefit of a sticker vs drawing right in the nail? Seems to add more steps and work. What am I missing?
You could make them in advance for clients during your downtime 😊
It actually saves time. And your client doesn't have to sit there the entire time on one nail. This way you can make the stickers in advance to avoid an excessively long session.

OK important question, how exactly did you secure the sticker? did you use gel (how are you able to cure all of it?) or did you use nail glue? otherwise, this is great! im starting to do competition nails, so this will be so good to use!
Just topcoats over it. The sticky layer from the gel polish also helps.

Wow! Have you not had these in the UK before? I’ve had them for probably 20 years here in Canada, under the name Arabella forms. Used to use them for competition art and yes, for making “sticker” or “decals” out of gel paints and gel polishes. It’s wonderful you’ve released them there, I find them an invaluable tool!

Those are very cool! Especially form a person who does their own with no artistic ability. Looks like you can set them over a design to see thru it. I wear short square nails. But a little modification watching the area might get them to work.

Not her idea. I’ve had these for about 10 years . Bought it from a nail supplier in the UK 🤷♀️
These are just like the Arabella forms. Had them for like 10 years. This is not a new concept 🙄
No one is saying it’s a new concept, but in the 8 years I’ve been working with Kirsty, she’s never used them until we stocked them. So if I don’t know about them, then I’m sure there’s a ton of people out there who don’t, I just checked videos on UA-cam with Arabella forms and they are all over 6 years old.
They are the same just 99p more expensive.
