How To: Hand Painted Tiger Portrait on Short Nails

In today’s video, I will show you how to paint a Snow Tiger in Gel Polish and then finish off the set. I'll start with the base coat then I'll add some of the Netty Gel to the thumb and pinky and I'll follow that up with Lisa-Lisa on the index and ring finger I'll create a curve shape along the outer edge with Netty and then give the nail a full cover layer of Lisa-Lisa and on the middle finger ill give a coat of just the Lisa Lisa and then ill go over that with the matte top-coat so my mechanical pencil we take.
Now I’ll draw out a 3x3 grid on the nail to match the 3x3 grid I have layered over my reference image and transfer the pencils.
Now I can paint out the tiger I’m starting in the middle of my contrast range with grey and creating a silhouette of the design that I can then add contrast to using black and white I'll paint in the fur with tapping motion and switch between black and white as needed then ill use the black to create the markings and give definition around the face and then ill go back to the white and add detail ill use Dan for the Tigers Nose and then for the eyes ill use Lucy and void and also a touch of Night Glow a blue glow in the dark gel polish.
I'll finish the set off with some black and white lines on the index and the ring finger and I'll add some stars to the blue areas using the Night Glow Gel then I can seal everything in and that’s it! I hope you enjoyed the video and I’ll see you in the next one! T’Rah Duck!

I can barely draw a stick figure and then there’s Kirsty. You are amazing! So incredible at painting, such detailed, miniatures.
Lmao I mean I get it, but she did have years to practice and perfect her trade. But she's definitely a fantastic nail artist, one of the best I've seen from online videos. Heck she does her own nails! Now that I still don't know how the heck, I can barely do much with my left non dominant hand let alone try to put nail polish on, but especially sculpt acrylic & do highly artistic things on my own nails 😂

I can barely draw a stick figure in 4 hours 😅😂 I have told you so many times, “these are my favorite set” 😅 I know these are definitely MY FAVORITE 🎉❤ absolutely incredible artwork 🎉 It’s so inspiring and incredible what you can do on such a small canvas 😮 The snow leopard is one of my absolute favorite wild comments ❤ When you said it would not come out perfectly the same…girl…you made it look even better with all the shading, dimension and the colors you used ❤ Not to mention you hand drew yours. I’m literally a tidbit/fun fact junky and appreciate learning about different cultures ❤ I think the lions, tigers, leopards, panthers, bob cats even the domesticated cat are the most regal and majestic of animals. I follow a group on TikTok named, “living with wildlife”. They are from South Africa and rescue all sorts of wild life. The lions she has were rescued from poachers and people that were trying to capture them illegally. She has 3 adult males that are stunning and because of the care they provide they are now healthy.
