    Used 2 eggs instead and half a cup of butter. Also used cheddar cheese cos I ran out of mozzarella but wow I'd do this again

      I've never tried it with oil but cooking is all about experimenting so give it a try and let us know how they turn out!

    Hello? New subscriber here. I wanted to ask, can these be frozen before baking? Sort of a pre-prepping? Thank you for sharing. Blessed be!!!

    In the video it calls for 5 cups crushed herb seasoned breadcrumbs but in the actual printed recipe it says stuffing mix....could you please advise which it is? Thank you :)

    • @SimplyDovie
      @SimplyDovie  4 роки тому +1

      You can use either! I prefer to use the Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing mix, which is breadcrumbs mixed with herbs and spices.

    Can I use fresh spinach and olive oil instead?

    • @SimplyDovie
      @SimplyDovie  3 роки тому

      Yes, you can use fresh spinach, it will take about 2 lbs of fresh spinach that you will still need to cook before adding to recipe. I haven't used olive oil in this recipe, if you try it then please let us know how it turns out.

      It's not my video, but sounds good. I can't see why not. You'd have to adjust cooking time. I would add a bit of parmesan, & a tiny bit of minced garlic. (As opposed to garlic powder.)

  • @amyem1

    tried this recipe, and 5 cups of bread crumbs was WAY too much. Other recipes call for half that. My advice would be to start with half and then tweak to your own taste

    • @SimplyDovie
      @SimplyDovie  4 роки тому +1

      I don't see why you couldn't! I would make sure the ground beef was cooked first before adding to mixture.
