I am a pregnant mom [ 24 weeks pregnant] and I have two sons, aged 4 and 5. My boys eat like big men...i was exhausted by keeping up with feeding my boys and preparing for an upcoming baby a.k.a " nesting" ...your video made my day. Thank you!!! Sending love from metro Detroit, MI.
Coming from someone who works swing shift and has over an hour commute each way I got a lot of great ideas from this video! Thank you so much for putting this together!
It’s totally how I cook. When I was young my grandma would say, “Honey I can tell you the ingredients but if you want a ‘recipe’ you betta come in this kitchen and watch me make it” 😂 I totally get it now, it’s all about look and feel. Plus each of these recipes do not require you to be precise to turn out great!
My daughter and I just made breakfast freezer meals! 2 casseroles (each divided into 6 servings), sausage (chorizo) and egg burritos, hash brown egg muffins. She took half home for a quick breakfast before work. Today I'm doing mini waffles and pancakes. When you're 77 and retired, cooking is what you do 😊
Hi Becky! Retired and living the good life at 77 years young! I cannot tell you how much your daughter appreciated those meals and your help because I know how much of a blessing my folks are to me (also retired) when they visit and help out in the same way you mentioned. God bless you for stewarding your family so well!
Made the egg-sausage-cheddar muffins @1:04 with ground beef instead. Added a hint of Rosemary powder, which added depth to the flavour. Thank you for these recipes.
Oh my gosh, incredible. Please can you add links to your lunch box, your silicone bags, silicone muffin trays, skewers, I realize this is a lot, but you are so organized and resourceful that I feel the need to tap therein of gold.
OK now THIS one is my favorite!!! I think I said that last time, but you consistently out do yourself Cassandra!!! I'm terrible at making sure breakfast is a thing, so these tips and delicious recipes are EXACTLY what I needed today!!! Thank you so much!!! 🎉❤🥰🥰🥰
Haha, Sara you know how to lay the flattery on thick don’t ya! I was in the same boat, which is why I mainly stick with oatmeal but there are times I just need something to throw in my work bag and get out the door! Sometimes I like something a bit more savory or veggie based so the spectrum I shared here is a collection of my go-to’s! So glad you found this helpful.
Here is a little show stopper for a get together. Line your cast iron skillet with your bacon strips. Letting the ends run up the sides. All around the skillet and criss crossing the center. Then pour in your favorite cornbread recipe. The bacon will cook crispy and brown on the bottom and flavor your cornbread. When you take it out the oven flip it where the browned bacon will be on top. And the bacon will have the wonderful crunch when you slice the cornbread. You can add the sausage and corn to cornbread as well. All your favorite things. It will almost make it like a meal in a pan.
Just discovered your channel and love that you are sharing your skills! As a long-time meal prepper, you can also bake your scrambled eggs in a greased brownie pan and cut them into squares for breakfast sandwiches.❤
@sunnyemmerich5860 My family likes custardy eggs, so I do about 7-8 eggs and a touch of cream, salt and pepper and bake them at 325 F. Depends on the volume of the eggs, but around 10 mins or until they are set enough to hold their shape when cut.
Last night my husband asked me what I had planned for today. I watched this awesomely wonderful video this morning and now I know the answer to last night's question. Make ahead scratch breakfast freezer meals. Grandchildren will be here next to spend "Spring Break" with us and I am not going to be in the kitchen cooking all the time. Thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge with us. Have a blessed weekend.
Finally! Someone who doesn’t like COLD overnight oatmeals!!! I like oatmeals but only when it’s warm. Thank you very much for your brilliant ideas. Love the sausage cornbread muffins and homemade corn dogs, and coffee filter ideas!!

These would be good to take camping as that's probably the only time we eat breakfast. Another good recipe here, Cassandra. Glad I found you on you tube. Thank you so much.
Oh, wow, I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did. You're a genius! Seriously, I watch a lot, A LOT of batch cooking/meal prepping videos, and yours is actually one of the few with recipes that I might actually dare to make. You just gained a new subscriber! 💜

Hi Cassandra, this is a fantastic video. Great job. My daughter and I have been watching your videos for several months now and we have enjoyed every one. My daughter has tried multiple recipes. I eat a plant based diet but I still love to watch. The oatmeal recipe you used here will be a game changer for me. Thank you. Please keep the great cooking ideas coming!
Hello sweet friend! Awww, this was so sweet for me to read. I am so glad that you're able to adapt the recipes I share to your diet preferences. And honey, yes, you know that I love my weekday morning oatmeal so Ive explored nearly every option on how to prepare it. With my work schedule I've figured that I can manage posting a video every 8-10 days. Please say hello to your daughter for me!
Wow! Such good ideas! I will certainly implement some of these! It’s kind of ridiculous how hard it is to pull together breakfast for my kids before school.

I just discovered your videos. The content and recipes are fantastic. You’re such an inspiration. I plan on making several of your breakfast meal preps.
Wow, just wow! I am so thankful I found your channel. You're making my life easier every day. I'm trying to get us off the store bought box cereal hamster wheel. We are full time farmers, with all the resources we could dream of...but time...there's the challenge. Do I want to cook a full breakfast when we're milking and bottle feeding calves, doing chores, moving(we're in the middle of moving our farm back to our original spot so we can give the big farmhouse and yard to the younger generation), and all the other things that keep us wildly busy during the days? I love to take a day and prepare lots so I can just work and heat up something wonderful for meals....ha ha, I've shocked some of the workers that came here to do jobs with some pretty fabulous things in minutes now that I've been watching you.
Hello friend! I am so happy to hear that you enjoy some of the meals I’ve shared as much as my family does. I hear you on the cereal; we had to give that up years ago because it’s so expensive for what you get. My hubby eats it by the bowlful not the serving size so he’d go through a box every 2 days or so. Now those boxes are shrinking!! Each of these recipes freeze beautiful and, as I mentioned the key is to have extra batter on hand to make the next go round easier. Your property sounds stunning!
Hi Cassandra, I have wondered about making sausage on a stick. My husband loves this as a quick breakfast and I have watched that item go up in price (along with many others). He likes the blueberry pancake and I have passively wondered if I could make something less artificial and less expensive for him. Thank you, thank you! I hope you've had a good week!
Hello 👋🏾 C P! You can absolutely make these at home! They are very easy md come together pretty quickly. Make sure your oil is warm but not so hot things splatter and don’t overcrowd your pan. The markup for what these are is incredibly expensive so your husband will love that you can now make them at home. I’d even add dried blueberries to the batter if that his preference!
I love that I've been at this for years, but your take on things is just a bit different than mine and I come away inspired with new recipes. Brilliant.
How about instead of potatoes that she uses for hashbrown muffin, use the sweet potato, that's what I'm using (I'm using both actually one sweet one potato)
Thank you for all the lovely recipes & heating up tips. I’d love to know where you got that glass jar with silicone cover that you heated up the oatmeal.
Always good to see you friend! Grab and go from the freezer in the mornings is a lifesaver! I’m not always a Morning person and I’m so glad to have these when I’m pressed for time. Enjoy!
Thank you SO much for these great recipes! They’re unique! We homeschool and having quick ready to go breakfasts make our whole day run more smoothly. Since I am homeschooling five kids who also do almost year round sports, there is never a slow time. I like to take a large chunk of time to food prep on Sundays after church and these are just such good ideas. I truly appreciate them. Maybe having these prepped will allow me to get some morning workouts in while my kids do their morning farm chores. ❤
When doing the oatmeal cups with the Craisins. I like the cherry flavored Craisins. Add a dash of vanilla and a little almond flavoring. It's almost a breakfast dessert.

The one with oats is genius!! I've been doing overnight oats for a long time and get bored with it but I still want oats as my breakfast because I eat a lot of fatty greasy food at lunch so I need to balance it out, so I'm definitely trying your oat prep.
Winner - winner -chicken dinner!🎉🎊 I ❤ the ideas you've shared here! They're new and exciting! I will definitely be giving some of these a try! Thank you so much!
this is my first time watching one of your videos and i'm barely 2 minutes in and already a) you are so lovely but i'm being nosey looking at your living room behind you because that is a very enviable space, and b) thank youuuuu for doing recipes like this!!! the things you're talking about, like look and feel and eyeballing measurements, that's the fun of cooking and how home cooks get better and more flexible!
My 6yo son and I are watching this, saying hello like you can hear us. So fun! Thanks for sharing what you love and fresh ideas. You had me at pancake on a stick then I was hooked with oatmeal to go. The jar sealed it. No pun intended still 😂😂😂😂😂😂
These recipes are great! My two little jr chefs and I love your videos! We usually have most of the same ingredients and supplies. Ive never seen those Jacket Jars before. Neat! I usually just use an old sock top or cloth napkin held on with rubber bands 😂 those Jar jackets sure are a lot prettier! Thanks for all your wonderful videos! ❤ May God continue to bless you!
GIRL!!! Those breakfasts look phenomenal! I'm going to do up a ton of these this weekend. I've recently fallen into the habit of getting something out on the way to work for breakfast, and I definitely need to quit that! I need to know how or what recipe/method you used for canning up your ham and crumbled sausage (and patties), because those look so much better than any I've ever seen. So I've never canned up any ground meat, just because everyone's I've seen just doesn't really look appetizing on camera. Do tell!!
I spent NYD 2024 prepping the breakfasts in this video. Creating a plan is the hardest part thank you for doing that for me! You are a great mentor, and mentors make life a little easier. I'm really happy to have found your channel. Happy 2024!
Hello! I just ran across your channel. Since I love freezer meals, I clicked on to watch. And boy am I glad I did! Each dish was so inviting, presentation so awesome, that as soon as I get a few more of the ingredients I'm making these!😊I can tell you enjoy what you do, by your enthusiasm and cheerfulness, it shows up in your voice. This is my first time seeing and checking out your channel. I enjoyed it so much, I subscribed. So I guess I'll be binge watching. LOL! Can't wait to see what's next!🤗Thanks much!❤
This video is full of so many great ideas for easy breakfast, and they're all fairly convenient for packing to work too. Your recipe for the oatmeal is brilliant! I love the idea of adding hot water at work and it's completely ready to go. BTW, you can absolutely heat overnight oatmeal up - in fact, I prefer to since I find it's a bit too soupy if I don't. I like to put my favorite oatmeal toppings - usually blueberries & some toasted nuts - in a separate container to add after reheating at the office. The pancake-sausage-dogs are a great idea, and it occurred to me you could also bake them in muffin tins. Pancake batter bakes up really well. Maybe pour a little pancake/waffle batter in the bottom of the muffin tin, add some pre-cooked sausage (either cut up or crumbles) and top with more pancake batter, then bake. I think I'll try that soon. I'll be trying your oatmeal too!
I was raised by my grandparents and cooking/baking since I could walk ain’t nothing I ain’t seen and videos never impress me… enter “ sausage in a jar”😮😮😮😂😂😂 say what?! Ok you got me❤😂
This was the first video you made that I have watched... I was very impressed. I saved this video so that I can make some of that awesome food you made in the video. Thanks for all you do...
Ok now I really believe you’re a GENIUS. I have been delving into homesteading recently and I make everything and will start a garden soon. You make everything so much easier to understand plus your personality is amazing. Just started binging your channel lol
Hello friend! Aww, thank you so much. Learning to cook from scratch and preserve my own ingredients has been one of the most rewarding parts I’ve experienced as I’ve started my homestead journey. You can do it! Little by little the steps you take add up!! Keep becoming a farm girl!

I’m amazed at how much I learn from you, thank you!🌸
A great idea, especially for young families that need to get mom, dad & kids fed and out the door to work and school.
Amen, Debbie! When it’s that kinda morning it’s nice to know all of these meals can be eaten on the go!
These are great! I'm so inspired to try them all. But first, I've got to make room in my freezer
Draining the sausage over your cast iron pan is a brilliantl too!!! Tip
I appreciate these ideas, especially the muffin recipes!
Do tell!!
I can’t wait to try these!!!! Always looking for more ideas for breakfast freezer meals!
You are incredible! These all look so good and I would never have thought of canning sausage patties. How cool!
Thanks Nana. These look so good. For sure going to have to make these.
Wow! Just came across your channel. I’m hooked! Thank you for such great breakfast ideas 💡
LOL! Can't wait to see what's next!🤗Thanks much!❤
You are going to love all of her content.
Deborah, I believe that! Thanks!
Oh my goodness! This is great! So many wonderful recipes and not a pepper in sight! Thank you! My tummy thanks you too! 😂
Why have I never thought about canning ham??? I’m so glad I found this with Easter coming up.
Gurllllll now I gotta do a Walmart Grocery pickup lol. My husband will love all of those.
What a great video with wonderful ideas! You also have an amazing speaking voice.
“For some of you I had you at cornbread,” I was still making nom nom noises when you got to that part 😂
Very creative, nutritious, convenient and yummy. Love it!

Hello friend! Aww, thank you so much. Learning to cook from scratch and preserve my own ingredients has been one of the most rewarding parts I’ve experienced as I’ve started my homestead journey. You can do it! Little by little the steps you take add up!! Keep becoming a farm girl!
