Just came here off the back of your brilliant assembly video. I'm not a beginner myself but like to give good content the traffic and likes that it deserves. The only thing I would add here is to leave the primer for at least 12+ hours to make sure that it's not only dry but also fully cured. Some primers, like the Army Painter Brush-On for example, particularly benefit from this as during curing (🤔) the primer will also shrink tighter to the mini. I've seen instances where someone will paint as soon as it's touch dry and then it cracks as the primer continues to cure and shrink.
