    I finally got around to trying the Cheetah in my front yard. My cat which is ordinarily relaxed and playful during my exercise became fixed in his gaze at me and rounded his back as he circled around me and left the yard. Something about my movement really did something with his instincts!

      Nice! The cat sensed the beast!

      From what I've been doing there is no how to. You just start with what you can do. Explore your body and movement. The best thing I've done is to just start.

    I really like your videos, these movement patterns are amazing. I have 3 questions:
    1 - What are good movements for beginners?
    2 - Is it possible to use animal movements as cardio or are they more focused on mobility?
    3 - Can these movements help me with soulder issues?
    Thanks in advance!

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  8 років тому +4

      Hey Diogo!
      1: Monkey walk, crab walk and bear walk are great to start with
      2: They can be very good for cardio if you just minimize the rest, here is one cardio flow: ua-cam.com/video/LEBBdtTBaqY/v-deo.html
      3: Hard to say any specific one, but what will help is doing many different movements because it will ensure strength, mobility and structure of the shoulders

    I see on your turtle walk you start out not bending your knees but then change to bending them. Is there a reason for that?

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  7 років тому +2

      Doesn't make a big difference because the emphasis is on the upper body, but straight is better for this one

    L sit crab kick where you start in an L sit maybe with feet on ground. Move into a crab and then a flat bridge. Kick alternate feet and then go back into crab and then L sit. Good movement. Stationary but challenging.
