How to Beat Alecto (Easy) | Where to find Black Knife Tiche | Early Game Access | Best Summons

- In this Elden Ring walkthrough tutorial video, I am going to show you how to beat Alecto the Black Knife Ring leader, and receive the Black Knife Tiche Summons. And you can do this super early on in the game if you want and then use what I think is the best summons for most of the game. If you don't already know where to find Alecto, I will show you how to get to the Moonlight Altar and find the Alecto Black Knife Tiche location.

UPDATE: I believe the early access glitch that I show in the beginning of this video has been patched. I just tried with a brand new character and once you die from the poison on the ledge, you don't get the Stake of Marika prompt. You just get revived at the previous grace. Darn. Oh well. The rest of the video is still valid on how to actually be Tiche.
Ive died 4x on ledge with poison it does indeed seem to not work
@@DToneQuest Only 4 times? That is nothing. haha. It still works, someone just tried it a few weeks ago on their first try. Who said to use poison? I didn't. You have to use a shield and weapon. Not poison. Just like I showed in the video.
@@MattTaylorVariety I was refering to how to get up to the area, not how to kill the guy. I have not been able to get up to the area using the method
@@DToneQuest Ahh I totally misread the comment. Yeah, that part has been patched. Unfortunately, you will have to get to the moonlight altar the normal way which happens later in the game. After you defeat Radhan you will be able to get there. But I don't want to spoil how in case you are not familiar with that.

Glad it worked for you! Were you able to do the early game access or just the fight part? I know it got patched and I don't think the early access glitch works anymore.
Great video. I managed to pull off the rock trap on the first try! I've can't count how many times i miss timed an attack and got pretty much one shotted.

You are welcome!! Glad that trick/cheese still works and that they haven't patched it. Too bad they did patch the easy access to the Moonlight Altar that I showed in the first half of the video. Now you have to wait and get there the regular way.

Worked 2nd time round (first time she knocked me off!) Equipped a brass shield and a sword, hit her every second or so and she never hit back. Thank you. I am on patch 1.08.1

I just did the rock trick fighting her so it works still on the new patch 1.7
Yep that is what I was thinking that it still works. Someone else just commented a few weeks ago being successful with it. Glad you beat her!
Thank you, im literally at endgame & was getting frustrated with that jump black blade move she does. Even was trying to use the blasphemous claw before she does that attack, but it just kept wiping me out.
You are welcome! It just stinks they patched it so you can no longer access her early in the game. But the way to kill her still works.
If you have Rykard’s Blasphemous Blade, just lock on, and spam the special skill. It blasts Alecto with fire, and restores your HP as it hits. Just have a few Cerulean flasks on hand, and you’ll be fine.
Great idea! In case you want to beat her before getting that blade, you can follow this method.

@@philorgneopolotin8762 It's been patched I made a pinned comment about it. You can no longer early access the Moonlight Altar like I showed. Is that what you were referring to? Or the actual fight?

@@PANDA_op Getting up to Alecto early doesn't work anymore, you have to go the normal way. But the way to beat her should still work. But I haven't tried since I posted this video so that may have been patched as well.

Hi, I made a pinned comment about it. It no longer works, it was patched. You have to wait to get to the Moonlight altar, the normal way. Unfortunately. But the method for beating her still works.

Yes, but you can't get there until later on in the game, after you beat Radahn.

Which part are you referring to? I have a pinned comment from 4 months ago, that the first half of the video (getting up to the Moonlight Altar early) was indeed patched. You can no longer get up there early, unfortunately. But other than that, the technique for actually defeating Alecto still works. Someone just commented a little bit ago.

Yeah, they altered this edge in 1.06. There is another location right there a little bit NW but I never managed to trap here there as “easy” as everyone claims in every second yt video
@@JerryVanSouth I literally just did it the day before I posted that video so not even a week ago. I am on the Xbox, maybe that version is different. It is the latest version.
How many times have you tried it, it can take a while. My first playthrough took me like 20 tries. My second playthrough took as many as I showed in the video.
@@MattTaylorVariety I am on Xbox too,but doesn’t matter anyway. Most of the „easy“ fightings or „cheeses“ did not work out for me. Alecto went down in no time with the weapon you get from the star…bla…bla..beast in the crater on mt. gelmir. Just spammed this rock special attack and the assassin stood no chance. I have been trying cheeses a lot of times in the game but almost never could manage to do one because either patched or I was better or training than performing a ridiculous glitched thing….and now I finished it (was my first Souls or Borne or waft game) and it took me four attempts to finally get going. I started 4 times with different classes and gave up three times. NowI finally did it, 40 days of playing - that is 229 hours in my case ( I am stuck in bed after an accident) and went to all caves, bosses (except the dragon in Fias dream, missed that one). Incredible game, but back to the cheese. The only one that really did it was Niall in the castle Sol - shooting poison arrows through the tiny window from the tower…great game AND great community. Never could have beaten the blade of Miquella without the summoning multiplayer feature. Fucking epic!!!
@@JerryVanSouth Dang sorry you couldn't get it to work, it is so nice to have Tiche so early on in the game. I am on my second play through. The first was 170 hours. This second play through is at 80 hours already. It is going much smoother the second time around, but still some crazy hard parts. My first Souls game as well. Will probably play Dark Souls 3 after this. Incredible game indeed, super addicting, and frustrating haha.

When was the last patch? This video is only 5 weeks old. And someone was still able to do it 4 days ago.

@@brandonmcclelland4359 Make sure you are on the very same spot when you are poisoned and die. It can't be anywhere, there are a few ledges there. It needs to be the very very top one. Someone just did it a few days ago.
