Well... we knew tiche's mom was a challenge for the player. So most of these npcs stood no chance agains her, her destined death, her hyper armor attacks, or her end game damage.
Alecto was actually the main reason I went through Ranni’s quest in my first playthrough. I just wanted to reach the moonlight altar. Now it’s my favorite side quest.
That nepheli fight was very suspect. I've never seen her spam the aow this hard in any of the prev fights. And unlike bernahl, her ai is programmed to use the aow when the enemy is in close range, unlike here where she spammed it even when alecto was far....Also if only alecto, or the black knife before the hero's grave missed as much against me as they did against the tarnished here
You should rather say that Alecto did not use her abilities at all against Bernahl. Nepheli as an NPC is just this strong, and stormhawk axe is one of the ways player can cheese Alecto if they so choose, even at low levels, I can attest.

Predictions for winners before I watch through: 1. Bernahl. He's just statistically the strongest Tarnished in the game and isn't dependent solely on his flask for recovery. High Damage, High HP, High Defense, Self Healing on Ash of War activation 2. Roundtable Knight Vyke. He does a lot of damage with his Lightning Incants, regular spear attacks (especially when electrified), and if he hits his Storm Assault Ash it hurts even on high level tank builds so I imagine it'd suck for a boss to eat the hit as well. 3. Nepheli Loux. She loves to spam her unique Stormcaller Ash and that attack just absolutely demolishes low poise/stance enemies like Malenia and Alecto. She's also scaled to fight Godfrey so there's that. End Game scaling goes nuts. 4. Vargram the Raging Wolf. This is a bit of a close-ish guess because he only has Leyndell scaling so his overall stats are weak but he does a lot of damage with that Godslayer's Greatsword of his and he usually likes to spam the Ash which is an absolutely monstrous damage dealer if it's wet paper towel adjacent poise doesn't get broken. 5. Millicent. The only reason I think she has a chance is that she has a fast attacking weapon and the highest area scaling possible in her Haligtree version. However, if her AI plays it dumb it won't matter because Alecto eats high HP and Defenses for dinner due to Destined Death. 6. Dung Eater. This is the least likely of the ones that I think can do it. For the simple reason that he's much weaker than his Spirit Ash version of himself. He does still do decent damage and his Omen Bairn attack has insane tracking so it won't care about her dodge spamming. He'd require some insane luck to pull it off.

Playing Sekiro right before Elden Ring already felt like reverting several stages back in the combat system but this bloody enemy made it really fall flat on it´s face for me it can feel so incredibly discouraging when you have this ridiculously quick enemy before you who blitzes about in a flash and deals massive damage while your Tarnished haplessly rolls and hops about, hoping to get a hit in once ever 7 rolls...
Some characters seemed like they were doing no damage at all compared to others, despite some of them being npcs found further into the game, is it a bug ? I don't remember any npc hitting for so little damage, even in early game

D did a a lot better then I expected. D is surprisingly strong and usually does well. Insane how Fia of all people kills him
