Hey you might want to add to the description that you have to send the lift up so you can kill the giant before the boss.
I ve got the watchguard great sword off Thoes cats
It was down the ladder the one on the right by the light that gave it to me
Don’t forget to mention the great grave glovewort only a few of those around the map I think
you have to send the lift back up to light up the circle near the final giant

As bosses those watchdogs are cake, but somehow as regular enemies they put the fear of God in me
Lol so it's not just me then. It baffles me how different they are.
@Fabio Blazina I think it's vecause a boss is meant to be a final challenge. So as a final challenge, only using 2-5 flasks seems pretty easy to us. But using 2-5 flasks against one of many obstacles on the way to the boss is a different story.
They seem much faster and hit harder than the early boss ones
also fun how they render any sort of status builds useless

8:30 you can use mohg's or margit's shackle to raise the pillar while your upstairs to fill in the hole and light up the circle, it also works down corridors so you dont have to shoot a bow
it also reveals secret walls in the area, quite a useful item you should have in every cave
In the room facing the giant wood that leads to the giant that open the boss door, there is an item on the top right.
How do you get the item ?
The easier way to deal with the fire pillar, is to use either mohg's or Margit's shackles. They lower/raise the pillars instantly, and they also reveal illusory walls. A lot of these UA-camrs never mention them
That last elevator that takes you to the giant. Activate it again via step stone to shine the circle. Once you are done killing the giant. Look straight at the elevator, there is a gap. Activate the lever and get inside before it moves. It should take you underground to another annoying cat or cats...?

the guarddog drops the sword he is using... so one loot missed... next
You also missed the illusionary wall on the right side of the flamemonk at the start.
Through that wall you can easily avoid the 2 shadow imps and the shadow guarddog.

You need to tell people that they need to send that lift back up before that light hits that ground for you to kill that giant

If you want an easier farm for the Monk’s Flameblade, there’s a black flame monk with that sword literally right next to the grace at “Divine Tower Caelid: Basement”. 👍

After the giant went after me, that thing did not light up. Also, I went up the elevator, and then back down, and he was attackable I don’t blame him for not knowing because it was very confusing, but I also understand about the point if somebody’s making a guide to do some research, don’t be too harsh on him. He’s also human.
After the boss instead of jumping down just go back to elevator lever and pull it and walk into the doorway shape that is part of the elevator pillar

The cats have a drop chance for a S scaling greatsword. Gotta grind it a bit though worth it. Much lighter than Colossal hammers for all my fellow Strength Chads.
The watchers that you have to bring into the light and killed 30 times but got nothing to drop do in fact drop the Watchdogs Greatsword. It's a colossal weapon.
Instead of running all the way back to the lift, you can drop down that hole in the floor to raise the pillar. When you do that, a circle of light appears and you can kill those shadow imp assholes

Note if you wanna farm this by slaying rebirth as much as possible in to arcane to raise item discovery ...got it on second kill + the silver scarab helps on top of that .and if you got them silver owl foot pop it 80 arcane is pretty much garanteed drop

You forgot about the statue cats that give you there sword, and the giant seal. And that's not how the giant gold ring works. You gotta lift up the elevator and there's a statue that shines a light to make the circle to fight the giant.
I equipped the Mohg’s Shackle or Margit’s Shackle, just slam it on the floor then it will open hidden walls, even that fire-blowing tower in here will react to the Shackles, you don’t have to stand close, hide inside those short corridors and slam the shackle, the tower will go up and down ! No need to switch to your bow and aim, I find it faster this way.

DPJ use a mohgs shackle or margits shackle to lower those towers. Super easy and it gets rid of hidden walls too
the flying cat statues drop a enemy specific greatsword that comes with C scaling strength
Gosh! I'm a mage and I actually got the Monks Flame blade on the first drop! I do not have the srt or dex to wield it, but it drop on first kill.

How do you get the item above the wooden gate you open before seeing the giant? You can see it from the landing at 14:00 if you look up to the right. If anyone knows that would be much appreciated
9:47 lol i did not see this, i spent ages looking arrond in the lower area. you can see from down there that there is an enemy at the top but i had no idea how to get there, my lighting set up isnt the best, so it was basically impossible for me to see that unless i used an actual torch i guess xD

You don't have to shoot the pillars. Any hit on them works.

If you’re standing above the broken stairs at the end there is loot on one of the pillars near the ceiling on the right. Not sure how to get it though

My game is glitched. I've opened the large door to the giant, but the circle won't light up
I've cleared the rest of the dungeon, but I can't complete it because of this glitch. Plus theres no way to reset it

14:04 if you had stopped at the top of those half broken stairs and looked up very carefully you can see an item on the top of one of those pillers.

@@joshuatrujillo9621 it seems like a beast, I would have like to go that path. But I put my stones into grafted blade. I was thinking I might dual wield with them both. But I stuck with my stones
@@justadude8893 the grafted greatsword is really fun, too! If you have enough strength you can dual wield that and another greatsword as long as you have enough points in equip load. You'll pretty much stagger everything accept big bosses, and you'll kill most things with one press of your L1 button lol. A great way to get sombre stones is to farm the miners in the various caves throughout the map.
@@joshuatrujillo9621 i was just looking into it and in the long run the ruin sword will be better. it hits harder also. plus my weapon art is somewhat useless most of the time. i will be able to hold it on my equip load, i would have to drop my 24 llb shield thought at the very least &&&& which miner in which location?

The watchdogs drop an S tier str scaling great sword. With 228 discovery I had two drop for me. They. Are. Fucking. Legit. You can put ashes of war on them too.
