    Thank you so much for your videos. I THINK I have a prolapsed bladder. Have an appointment with a urogynocologist this week to try and find out for sure. My son is a PTA. He says do the exercises Mom before considering surgery! You are so kind and calming for something that seems a bit scary to me. ❤️

    Hi Bri, I was a weight lifter pre surgery, lifting up to 250lb. This wasn’t the reason for my prolapse (rectocele) I was wondering if I’d ever be able to lift again like that. I know it would take me many years to build up to lifting heavy after rebuilding my core and pelvic strength but I am wondering if it is even an option. I am 23 and had posterior colporrhaphy due to extreme constipation and straining for many many years which I have fixed

    • @vibrantpelvichealth
      @vibrantpelvichealth  Рік тому

      t's understandable that you have concerns about returning to weightlifting after undergoing surgery for a rectocele and working on rebuilding your core and pelvic strength. While I'm not a medical professional and cannot provide personalized advice, I can offer some general information.
      In many cases, individuals who have had surgery for pelvic floor conditions like rectocele can gradually return to weightlifting or other forms of exercise with the guidance of their healthcare provider. The timeline for returning to heavy lifting will depend on various factors, including your individual healing process and the recommendations of your healthcare team.
      Listening to your body and paying attention to any signs of discomfort or strain is crucial. If you experience any symptoms or concerns, it's important to communicate with your healthcare provider, as they can provide guidance and ensure that you're progressing safely.
      Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and the timeline for returning to heavy lifting will vary from person to person. With patience, proper guidance, and a focus on building strength and maintaining good form, it's possible to work towards your goals over time.

    Can i use same exercises for prolapse hemorrhoids as well_- THANKS SO MUCH

      This workout is **pelvic floor aware** meaning that specific cues are given for breathing and technique. This keeps the workout "pelvic floor friendly" for people with all sorts of pelvic floor issues, including prolapse. That being said, I can't guarantee that it will be appropriate for your needs. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and will tolerate exercises differently. Listen to your body and stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your particular core/pelvic floor needs. Talk to your local pelvic floor physical therapist for individualized medical advice!

      I encourage you to read my prolapse guide: bit.ly/prolapseguide ...I don't see why a water resort would be a problem, as long as you're managing prolapse using the tools in this video and in the guide I linked. If you have additional questions, be sure to ask a provider in your local area!

    You do realize that people find you through "Doctor Google" LOL. Like you said; mindset is important. Doing your own research doesn't have to be stressful. It can be empowering instead. I like this approach of exercises better than the "electrocution" devices some PTs are using. Seems more natural and less invasive.

      Absolutely, being informed and engaged in your health is empowering. Natural approaches, like exercises, often align with the body's inherent abilities and can be beneficial. Always consult with healthcare professionals for personalized advice. ~Vibrant Support
