@@anthonykneipiii4562 Gowry, the guy in that hut, is secretly one of those 'kindred of rot' shrimp people. If you kill him, his 'human' corpse fades away and that's what's left behind.
@@Uberphish Even more interesting is if you kill him upon first meeting him he turns into the bug and respawns. But if you progress his storyline then kill him he doesn't turn into a bug and doesn't respawn.
@@theangler1922 from what I get in his lines is that he's just a bunch of those rot people replacing one another after you kill one of them. He doesn't rly "respawn" in the in-lore meaning, he gets replaced all the time. Maybe later they just don't give a fuck anymore because you did what they wanted you to do already

@@gmradio2436 it was mentioned in some item description, but I've watched so many lore videos at this point, that this detail might have come from an original description (in Japanese).
IIRC, Frenzy is stick it in the eyes, Rot is through the heart.
@@Lonely_Moth miquella's needle goes in the eye to quell the influence of all outer gods. The unalloyed needle goes into the body where the source of rot is most present to help prevent the spread of the rot

It's the place where Malenia showed herself as a sore loser and made her kamikaze move that nuked all of Caelid and turned it into this nightmare. Be aware, this swamp gives a Rot status effect that when full will rather quickly start killing you. Get some consumables for it or learn Flame Cleanse Me spell.

Her name is Millicent and her adoptive dad Gowry wants you to give her the Needle so she can keep on moving with her quest to find Malenia. She is a sad, sad character which you will learn as you progress through her quest which I must add is rather nice and gives you a way out of certain bad situation. More on that later. And as you can see she lacks an arm. Give her a hand now will you.

Elden Ring is the best platformer of the souls series. I mean, it has a proper Jump button. Now you can't dual-wield with Y any more, but at least you can jump without realigning the camera all the time (L3)...

Let me start off by saying THANK YOU. My father passed away a week ago today, and I have been an absolute wreck. I stumbled upon this a few minutes ago, and this has been the first time since he passed that I have genuinely laughed and smiled. I've always loved these videos you guys make, and they always make me laugh. But this one is now my absolute favorite because it made me laugh at a time when I needed a laugh the most. You guys are amazing, and i can't thank you enough for putting a much needed smile on my face. ❤

If I didn't have a 5 year old and a 2 year old that needed me I probably would of lost it already. Idk if it's just me, but I guess I kinda always thought I'd have my parents forever....I'm kinda still in shock kinda

1:15 Made me realize we didn’t really have any interactions with the horse loving cyclops. She kinda just shows up toward the middle, then the end and poof.
There are a lot of hidden interactions with her. She comments on Bocs love for his mother at some point in that questline and also tries to convince you not to take the frenzied flame as well as always showing up in churches of Marika to convey Marikas words to you.
It's not much, she's not always blabbering, but she does ocasionally drop in.
I do hope she will comment on the DLC as well, as that would be very welcome.
I think it would help if she at least spawned whenever you rest at a site of grace. Even if she didn't say anything, it would still feel like she's there with you.

It would give you places to go to meet her. (at least, until she suicide bombs the Erdtree)

Not being able to hold the laugh in the end was great to hear!
I've got teleported next to this town when I was like lvl 10.
Took me like a whole day to get out of the mine, then I spent 2 more days suffering in this city, until I realized that there is fast travel and I can finally go back.
The training I got here during that time resulted in me finishing most(all but ca 5) bosses in max 2 tries - even like Malenia, the fire giant, ect. - with sword main build.

I look forward to these coming out. Well made and hilarious. 400 hours in the game and this is what brings me joy alongside my self imposed challenges.
