Watch the Japji Sahib Katha about Pauri 37b, ie Sachkhand. TThe Khalsa gets liberation and continues on as a soul, not coming back into birth or death. This living on is to be Amar, ie you are then in Amarpuri

I'm not religious but Sikhi is my favourite religion (an ideology that preaches Theism) and I believe there is worth in Jaaping Naam even if you don't believe because the sound current / vibration carries purifying elements to the mind as any mantra. But I live in a household that is fundamentally Messianicly Jewish (which is an orthodox amalgamation of Judaism and Christianity) and my mother forbids the chanting of any mantra (I've tried chanting Om Namah Shivaya while washing the dishes out loud, and Hare Krishna and she forbade them both) but there is a Jewish mantra called Nanach pronounced very similar to Nanak that she doesn't forbid and even though I don't believe in it as much as in Sikhi jaaps I greet my grandmother and my sister and my mom with "Nanach" which sounds very similar to Nanak based on the GGS passage that says "Happy are they that remember your name, O Nanak" (loosely put) and it truly works... greeting my family with "Nanak" has made me full of joy. Nanach

I was born in an atheistic family that later accepted Judaism and then my mother believed in Jesus as the "Son of God" as preached in orthodox Christianity and she preached it to me and I was converted. I then became an atheist realizing that the fear of God is torment. I'm not sure how being born as a Sikh is different in your relationship to "G-d" but I still believe that japa (Chanting G-d's name is powerful) and value Sikhi for the purity of mind GurSikhs possess. Being a zealous Christian made me lose my mind... Sikhi should be praised for its purifying effects on the mind.

sikh is not khalsa. a sikh remains a sikh a khalsa remains a khalsa. define the words and your question will be answered. sikh is a learner he is not learned yet(on how to love the guru) a khalsa has given his head "jeh tum prem kehlaan ka chaao sir tal taali gaali mere ao"(bhul chuk maaf) a khalsa is now learned on how to love the guru and is no longer a sikh, khalsa is guru guru is khalsa. a khalsa can teach the sikhs, on nagar kirtan bhai jagraj ji clarified this for me in person he explained that a sikh is like a rose and a khalsa is like a thorn bush, they reside in one garden however the thorns protect the roses from pests, they consume the same nutrients and live in the same soil but the thorn bush is ARMED.

I want to ask a question which I have not received a reply for
    Can someone help
My friend is stuck feels like she is committing a sim
Her and her husband took Amrit together, 1 yr later her husband left Khalsa way to go back to a sikh way of life. My friend has still kept her Khalsa way but has a relationship with her husband like a married couple do.
People tell her she has also broke the Amrit and there is no reason for her to wear her 5 k’s.
    Is this right?
    Can someone answer pls 🙏🏽

You almost got there but missed. What about those who is in sikhi do all the nitnem and rehat of Amritdhari sikh. But afraid to be amritdhari himself just because his afraid that their would be circumstances where he would break rehat in future.. like eating meat (which i am still confused about), being into relationship. Party or hangouts ,Drink (very rarely). Exposure to porn etc. Which is quite normal in these days.
Lets just face it. We live in a world where becoming amritdhari sikh will give you inner satisfaction but you will be a outcast from your frnds and society.and that will put in imbalance..
It would be just like taking Sanyaas like in old days.
till know i am doing like.. do all the nitnem, seva and rehat baba ji blessed you with. But when the things happen (which i mention above), go trough them like any normal person would do. And take it as baba ji di iccha. As Guruji wanted us to be a "Grahast-normal family man, balanced with society".
But when i listen to satsang sabha/ sikh pracharak it just fill me up with guilt.

if your friends take drugs drink etc and you are shut out and outcasted then i would say thats a good thing... call me crazy but watching porn eating meat having relationships without marriage is that something you want for yourself? wow ok... and as far as meat what are u confused about? to eat meat an animal must die if you condone that then u have no compassion for those animals. where is the confusion? yes guru ji encouraged a grist jeevan but to partake in all things society does? thats absurd! if that was the case guru nanak should have joined babbar and invaded india to partake in society..?

Only WaheGuru knows who is a SatGuru Sikh ...just because you keep the 5 K's does not make a Good Sikh. I think it's what is in your heart and you need to connect with WaheGuru -A label doesn't make you anything ... it's like a fake t shirt - you a can get them anywhere down the market.
