I wanted to ask, that my grandma is amritdhari. As she used to do nitnem every single day. But now she is of old age over 100. For the past few year she is not able to do nitnem or isnan. Will she get mukti, as for the majority of her life she kept the nem but because of old age she has made some mistakes. Can I do ardass for he so she get muki. As God is all knowing and knows everything. I am far away from sikhi at the moment as I cut my hair etc, but I really want my grandma to get mutki when ever the time comes, as we don`t know that. As if she has made mistakes it is beyyond her control becasue she is of old age. Should I do ardas for her on her behalf.

Can someone please answer my question. Say if I read the SGGSJ for three days in a row, that means I've missed my daily nitnem. Do I have to make up that nitnem afterwards?

VJKK VJKF Veerji If you do an Akhand Paat by yourself, I dont think you would need to catch up on your nitnem because your mind has been in Gurus seva for 3 days. Just carry on with normal daily nitnefter that. Thats only an opinion

Can one be liberated if they aren't a Sikh?
Also, how does one merge back with Waheguru?
    How it that concept explained?
I remember the brother saying we're a drop of water and God is the Ocean, when we're liberated we go back like a drop in the Ocean.
Can this concept be explained a bit more, please :)
What happens when we merge? Does anyone know? Thanks

Umar bhai sikhism is not just an another religion, its how other religions shud have been in first place, only way one can unite with waheguru is by being one. There are certain qualities of god, if one tries to live life by following those he/she can become one wd god. Nearly all religions talk about compassion , love, being one but nobody truly follows it properly. One eg i can gv is, we humans, most of us are emotional, where as we needed to be compassionate, both are two different words, for say if we pass by a beggar , v feel bad fr him bt we dont help him n leave him unattended, whereas a compassionate soul will stop by and gv him food or any help he is in need of. So to ur question anyone can become one wd god, muslim hindu jew christian sikh buddhist , if u go by command of god, as it say in gurbani hukam rajaee chlna nanak likhya naal. Means 2 b a truthful /godly person accept gods will that is the first step towards god, this is something in my viewpoint i might be wrong.

Gursharn Nagi I agree. What I love about SIkhism is that it's mutually inclusive to all religions.
But thanks for responding. I can see where you're coming from. It's about deeds and the worship of God.
I agree that a lot of people don't follow their religions properly.
Like Islam, for example. I know a lot of Muslims that have an ego and think that only their religion is right and people that follow other faiths are below them, in a sense.
That's not right. In the eyes of God, I don't think that's right.
For me, there's one God/devine presence, many paths to the devine.
But when you say we merge back with God, couldn't that also mean that in a sense, we're also God?
This is the part I don't understand. I want to properly understand what Waheguru ji is...
Is Waheguru ji a metaphysical energy or a man in the sky type figure?
Iv'e never really understood the distinction...
In Islam, God is described as being 'light' - but if God is energy/light, how does he communicate with humans?
I find this concept hard to comprehend

Gursharn Nagi Also if you could try explain the second question I asked, in my initial comment. Thanks :)
"Also, how does one merge back with Waheguru?

I remember the brother saying we're a drop of water and God is the Ocean, when we're liberated we go back like a drop in the Ocean.

yes brother, you can be liberated if you are not a sikh. According to sikh religion any one who makes their goal of life God will attain liberation regardless of their religion, caste, color etc.
once you merge back to God, you will get permanent life, there is no death there, no diseases, no any kind of problems, most importantly you will get to see God. According to Bani there is nothing but bliss and peace there. And everyday your bliss increases and you are happy ever after.

+Inderjot Kaur through some off Jesus message but jesus is false idol worship still as all people are one and we must respect the way they follow religion

Brother then compare Guru Granth Sahib Ji with bible and see which makes more sense. Does trinity makes sense or does one supreme Lord makes sense? does is make sense when they say Jesus is son of a god? does Guru Granth sahib makes sense, when it says God has no biological son, but we all are creation of one God, so we all are his children.
Whatever makes more sense pick that path and stick to it. But you have to pick one path otherwise there will always be confusion.

+Inderjot Kaur so you was Christian my path is sikh values but i like to party with friends and get very drunk all tho i have never taken drugs guru ses not to intoxicate the body so what does this mean for me

    • @harvindersingh7438
      @harvindersingh7438 8 років тому +2

+Chatstewart Stewart Brother I'll like to say something if you don't mind. I'm sure you're not drunk 24/7, so when you are not drunk, take some time out and do NAAM SIMRAN (meditating on God's name). once you start getting drunk off NAAM, YOU will naturally leave alcohol.
I personally never followed any discipline, I used to drink all the t I me, but with the grace of God I kept doing NAAM SIMRAN, then I naturally gave up alchol. now even if I smell alchol I get a headache.
Brother God doesn't want us to be perfect, if we were perfect we didn't need God. So let's go toward our Lord the way we are, and he will make us pure.
BTW if you don't know what NAAM SIMRAN is just youtube it, you will have an idea what I'm talking about.

Like you said in the beginning of the video, a big part of all this is conjectural. Nobody really knows. Guruji makes a guarantee for those who take Amrit and live the high moral standards set out for Khalsa, which is a VERY hard life to live. I would say its a minority of Amritdharis who fit that description. For the rest of the Amritdharis and for non-Amritdharis and non-Sikhs, you might make it, you might not.

    • @Nsingh11
      @Nsingh11 8 років тому +2

You shouldnt say it's a "very hard" lifestyle because saying that now people may become doubtful and fall into control of their mind and never gone through with it vs guru ji give them opportunity and they go and then actually practising the displine with guru ji kirpa it becomes something normal for them.
Everyone's experiences are different everyone's perpesctives are different as well as guru ji kirpa and other factors I. E laziness, and the willingness maybe sangat.
Thus by you saying it's hard someone may read the comment and now doubt themselves.
Please keep your opinions to yourself your not guru ji and people reading this comment who ever thought about becoming a khalsa ask your guru for the advice if he says yes then do it period because it's time.
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa waheguru ji ki Fateh.

Nsingh11 Paaji my apologies I should've stated it was my opinion. But think about what Dasam Patshah asked from the Sangat in 1699, he asked for a head, only 5 stood up. IN MY OPINION, Guruji gave the gift of Amrit to those who were the most committed to Sikhi. Yes, some may find being Khalsa easy. But IN MY OPINION, majority of people will remain a Sikh and never attain the self discipline to become Khalsa.

Sin is universal problem. Sin is ubiquitous. Humanity contaminated by sin. Sin in us by default, not learnt, not taught. Sin manifests in many forms - evil, crime. Sin is the opium. The origin of sin is unanswered.
    My journey.
Sin is pre-existing in all. Nobody taught us to sin. Sin pre-dates The Bible. The Bible explains origins of sin. The Bible provides remedy for pre-existing sin, through Jesus Christ death and resurrection. The Bible is best selling book in the world for this reason. Sin is real, The Bible is relevant. Sin is born at every child birth. Sin is disease of heart, and Jesus Christ is the cure.
Satan is the enemy, came to steal, kill and destroy. Misleads us to blame good loving God. God is not the author of evil.
Media, Police, Defense, Judiciary, Penitentiary, Security, Contracts confirm sin exists.
The origins of life, natural laws, sin, morals, purpose, meaning, conscience, music, creativity, intelligence, beauty, color, nature, water, air, light and amalgamation, remain unevidenced - elsewhere.
We love truth when it enlightens us, but hate when it convicts us.
Instructing to "Heart wash" from sin is not "Brainwash".
God created universe, placed natural laws, made humans in His image, gave talents, instructed to multiply and explore - The Initiation of Science. Science is the legitimate child of natural laws. Without natural laws science has no foundation.
We are created with good purpose and meaning. We are good. Then sin entered through satan and we all fallen. Disease, despair, deformities, deficiencies, depression, stress, guilt, greed, hate, anger, rebellious spirit, spiritual death entered. Sin plays spoilsport.
Unloose the Soul from the tight knot of sin. Soul outlasts death.
Sinners cannot save themselves from sin. Jesus Christ, the Holy God, intervened, willingly died on The Cross and resurrected, for remmissions of our sins, to save us from sin and hell.
We are weak at the core, however we try to portray otherwise. We need Holy God's help, who is willing to help with open arms.
Unable to find any motive any reason for Jesus Christ to die willingly on Cross and resurrect - except His love to save us from pre-existing sin and hell.
Nobody died for our sins and resurrected - except Jesus Christ. Exclusivity
    Jesus Christ claimed:
"I am The Way, The Truth and The Life". "I am The Resurrection and The Life".
    "I am The Good Shepherd".
Jesus Christ has the authority to forgive sins.
Religion says "Do". Jesus Christ says "Done".
Religion is man's attempts to 'search gods'. Jesus Christ came from heaven in 'search of sinful man' to save from sin.
Salvation from sin and hell is not earned through works or deeds or pilgrimages or rituals or ceremonies or traditions or cultures or meditations or public displays or hypocrisy or making personal sacrifices or making animal sacrifices.
Salvation from sin and hell is free, but not cheap. Because Jesus Christ laid His life on The Cross, and resurrected.
God loves the sinner, but hates the sin. Just like a parent loves child, but hates disease in child.
We are saved by God's grace, not by our works.
Karma is getting what we deserve. Grace is getting what we don't deserve. Only Grace can be pre-fixed with word Amazing. Amazing Grace. Karma is not Amazing, it is depressing.
GRACE: Getting what we don't deserve - i.e. forgiveness of sin, eternity in heaven through Jesus Christ.
MERCY: Not getting what we deserve - i.e. punishment of sin, separation from God, eternity in hell.
Other side of death is eternity. Either in hell; or in heaven through Jesus Christ.
God offers grace and mercy for free through Jesus Christ death and resurrection.
Jesus Christ suffered, ridiculed, spat-on, humiliated, crucified on The Cross, and therefore He understands our pain. He raised victorious, we will too. Those who endure till end are victorious.
Jesus Christ coming again to judge all. The doors will be closed. Jesus Christ reveals every mystery, answers every question. We all deserve to know the truth. He is The Alpha and The Omega. He judges everyone.
One day every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
The First Christmas - Jesus Christ came to earth from heaven to save us from pre-existing sin.
The First Good Friday - Jesus Christ crucified to The Cross, died willingly for remission of our sins.
The First Resurrection Day, also linked to Easter - Jesus Christ resurrected from death.
Jesus Christ made entry to Holy Heaven free through Him. Repent of sin and be saved. Easy.
The First Coming of Jesus Christ - He is Lamb, slaughtered for remission of sins
to save us from sin and hell. And resurrected.
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ - He will be Lion, The Judge.
    The Lamb and The Lion.
Jesus Christ forgave all who crucified Him, and now forgives all, even who reject, ridicule and mock Him. He loves all unconditionally.
Believe, trust, repent of pre-existing sin in Jesus Christ that He died for remission of our sins and resurrected, and coming back to judge, accept Him as Lord and Saviour, and be saved from sin and hell. Any time, any where. Even now. Simple.
Nothing to lose, everything to gain.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
I found God loved me regardless of sins, weaknesses and rejections by others. As sinner I cannot save myself through deeds. He believed me and has faith in me. I am not in competition with others. God loves you all, individually.
(My journal. Journey to life - after testing all 'isms' and religions, after failing to find origins, purpose and meaning of life, after swallowing pride, egos, anger, hate, depression.)

According to Geeta and Gurugranth sahab.
God created food for every living thing.
lion eat meat so God created animal for lion.
    Many animal eat grass
    God created grsss for animal.
According to geeta and gurugranth sahab reincarnation life after death both hindu and sikh have to become animals in next life.
Muslim eat meat of these animal
so God created hindu and sikh for Muslim food.
Today meat has become costly reason hindu and sikh has been decreasing. meat price are going high.
    scientific proof
Good Hindu and Sikh people after death are taking rebirth in Muslim family so population of Muslim increasing day by day and Hindu population decreasing day by day.
No. 2. When a good Hindu and sikh died he will take rebirth in Muslim family. and i crease in Muslim population.
    No.3.
When a bad Hindu and sikh is died. If he becomes insect in next life he will be food of Chinies people.
No.4. If a bad Hindu and sikh died he become animal in next life like sheep goat cow he will be food of Muslim. because eat these animals.
No. 5. When a bad Hindu and and sikh died and in next life become pig he would be food of Christian.
So it is simply and clear proof that rebirth or reincarnation is a system of food preservation for Humanity.
Hindu and Sikh are our saved food and meat for future and nothing.
At present. total Muslim population in subcontinent is 70 cror and hindu population 100 cror.
In next 50 year subcontinent would be muslim majority. And hindu and sikh whould be decreased. muslim countries have to open hindu and sikh protein form future food preservation and meat requirments.
