agreed or a commercial he's done. That's why I love Mark Bone for example because he actually shoots alot of stuff professionally and shows that in his videos too.

@@UNIT9TV sure but quite often those expire after the Commercial has been out so you can share it. Also, as an influencer with quite a big following, I'm sure he could get permission from clients since he would be pushing their content too. Either way, I'm sure he has done some great work!

the FS7 and FX9 are such versatile cameras. They can be used for regular ENG purposes but in Cine EI mode become great lower level cinema cameras. I love my fs7! $40 on a small rig adaptor can allow you to put the handle directly on the camera and bypass the long arm making it much better for handheld shots. The XAVC-I codec is amazing, too.

Jup, I saw 3, now I also see the blue one...
It's not a deadpixel. The sensor needs a apc-scans before you start recording. The sensor can map-out the pixels and there are no non working pixels to be found. Coming from an Fx9 owner.
The "lens cap" at the beginning reminded me of the cap from a to-go cup. 😂

thanos chatz full frame is for dslr, I don’t know why you wouldn’t shoot super 35 on a pro level camera.
I'm an advocate for more Sam in general. You guys make a great team.
The cool thing about Electronic Onboard ND it does not use Polarized method of variable control. The TFT (similar to LCD) does not need to be polarized to block a light source. Thus it has a clean ND filtering.
Its has a very alexa ish look I kinda prefer it over the c200... damnit

I vote for a dead pixel. I never noticed the 2 dead pixels when I first bought my EOS 6D a few years back UNTIL I shot in low light with high ISO. Now it is the first thing I check when buying new gear.
i am dying to see a comparison between the c500 and fx9.
In India UA-cam limited quality to 480p due to pandemic traffic. And still I feel like seeing 2k video when he shot on that Sony camera. Mind-blowing

a red one on the softbox of the light, a white one on the bottom left corner, and an other white one near his youtube trophy on top right

Love this. Unboxing happens and you already see footage from camera less than 2 min in. You didn’t spend the first 8 minutes opening the box like a bunch of other channels would lol
Hey Potato, it's not a dual polarizer, I'm amazing at how few people read the basic specs! The ND is a Vari LCD Electronic ND Filter, it's a lcd filter that adjusts it's ND electronically, it's not a rotating polarizer!

I love how cameras at a certain price point just start to look like Gundam cannons or just blasters. Wild. It’s like a handicam just went super duper Saiyan or whatever it’s called.
I made a cinema rig with my Sony a6300, I actually love how it looks works and feels. Definitely been able to make the most of this little sony before upgrading to something more comercial.

worked on a small documentary job a while back. 3 cam shoot, 2 a7s on gimbals and I got to work with this same setup FX9 all day. Waaaaay more intuitive than the FS7 and the image is miles better. The first sony camera I'd buy personally.
All of the auto settings seem to be pretty awesome for once. We need a SamCam for everything.

Great to see this test thank you! Was lusting for this cam when announced, but still happy with my C200 for now. Raw files are huge, but up to 60p in 4k RAW is AWESOME and all I'll need for a while.
Would love to see you test the C300 MKIII and then compare it to the FX9

Check the sensor bro I think you have some dust (or some other particulate or a dead pixel) it in the low light shot there are four bright spots
1.On the left hand side shadow
2. On the Apture dome
3. On the shelf where you have kept the UA-cam button.
4. On your arm.
Sorry if am being picky but am an editor :3 so you get it how much that distracts you.
Build Lefty a platform to sit next to Sam, then they can share a cam.
More Sam Cam, I'm sure everyone who watches enjoys a little behind-the-scenes and seeing the production side.
