Hi, Dom! Can you make a video about advanced warping? For example time correcting multiple vocal stems to mach each other? Also would be great to know more about time stretching algorithms. Which of them are best for what kind of signal (drums, vocals, guitars etc)
Missed how the tracks are show differently, 1 above the other or overlaid as normal. Is seeing them separated automatic depending on if using the "in a folder with group and phase selected" option?
Can anyone please tell me how at 3:57 Dom got the 3 tracks to open in the sample editor in separate horizontal lanes (IN 3 STACKS, ONE ABOVE THE OTHER) because I can only get multiple tracks to open in the same stereo/mono lanes all superimposing over one another like Dom did at 4:44?
This is because synth is a stereo track and bass tracks are mono. So what we actually see is the stereo synth track in the top and bottom, and the TWO bass tracks in the middle.
@@gedeonandrasmusic Many thanks Andras for enlightening my on my misunnderstanding! Watching back now I can see that as you say, the tracks are not separated but overlaid as Dom said, with stereo left channel on top, mono in the middle and right stereo channel at the bottom as you said. 👍
Hello! Please help! I lost the link to the video where you talk about Audio Warp of double guitar parts in Cubase, in that video you show how to align doubles in time and adjust it to the original track.

Hello, I'm from Guatemala and I want ask You something, how can i do to place a second track as an audio and use it as a guide, as layer! The problem is that the back layer y moving with the upper and I dont want that, could you help me please?
I love these updates but the I've been asking for is never updated, please let us change pitch shift of audio files in project window without the timestretch algorithm. So for example that we can create edm snare buildup that pitches up.
sure could be useful, in the meantime I suggest you to keep your snare hit and transform quickly in a sample track and you can use it as a midi playable sample that you can play also in other notes pitch with more flexibility.
If you select the audio part and look at the file details in the top row, there's a transpose value / function, would this help? It works for me on a per-part basis
When I try to use the free warp, all it dies is stretch the whole project even though I only have a single audio clip selected. It's annoying. I just want to affect the selected audio without stretching or compressing the whole projects time. I don't know what I'm missing but I'm super frustrated right now.
Hi Dom Could you make please a Tutorial on how to Warp an Vocal Acapella to an existing Project in Cubase ? Would be really nice :) cause i come from Ableton and now i work with Cubase ,and i work on a Remix and the Original Track was a 125 Bpm One and mine is a 138 Bpm one .
I'm trying to use Audio Warp for multitrack recorded drums, to fix some tempo issues in the performance, but I'm finding that I get artifacts on relatively modest adjustments - such as weaker transients and tone shifting. Can audio warping be reliably used for drum editing, or should it only be used for solo instruments (like guitar, bass, etc)? I'm using Cubase Pro 12, with group editing and phase-coherence enabled on the 8 channel drums folder. I made the edits via Free Warp in the project window, manually quantizing to the grid every bar or so (more control). Maybe audio warp isn't there for drum editing yet? Should I go with the old way of doing slices/fades/slips? Great videos by the way - they're helping me get acclimated with Cubase.
Amazing thank you Dom. I can't get the Q button to make the warp marker quantize happen... is there a setting I'm missing? And how can you select only certain markers to quantize?
I struggle a bit with this a well. Did you sort it? Seems like the warp markers snap to the grid, which (intuitively) is not what I want. I except the warp markers to snap to the wave form, and then quantize the waveform to the grid.
