I love this type of videos. Hope you will be making more. Thanks so much for the tips. They are so helpful.
No problem at all. I’ll keep making them is their helpful. Thanks for watching
Great informative video as always, please keep them coming! I always learn something new from your content that I can put to good use while using my Total Gym.
Awesome video! Even though I "know" this stuff, it is so much better to watch you show both the correct and the "incorrect" form for the exercises. I get so much out of watching this. I also find your recommendations on frequency to be very useful. Please do more videos like this one!
That’s great to know, thank you. I’ll keep making more like this.
As I’m watching this @1:06 thinking what you will say
1. Unilateral training for more focus
2. Supinating curls for peak
3. Limiting range more constant tension
Those all might be very good tips for some people, so thanks for sharing. I'd tried to stick to the most common / basic error I see that (to me at least) makes the biggest difference in stressing the bicep. Thanks again for watching Reynaldo.
Another good effort. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the info Mike
Good stuff. The laying extension can really isolate the biceps
Thanks! Like the guidance. More please🤘
Will do thank you.
As a "newcomer"to the TG(even tho I've owned it for 5 yrs...just started using for [almost] all training)...this is a video for newbies but as anothr viewer said....always good to see visual examples for them and reminders for us old timers. Good stuff...thnks for your work on these!!👍
Thank you for watching. I hear what you're saying about how this may seem basic and more for beginners, but I constantly see these two issues presenting themselves not just in the TG world but in training in general even among veteran lifters.
It’s a good video. The bicep is a small muscle. Every row and pull you do works the bicep. Especially pull-ups whether in the TG or pull-up bar. I’ve noticed I could skip doing bis directly and still get a good pump from pulling motions.
I'm a fan of these style videos. I'm on a weightloss journey. I bought my fit when I weighed over 300lbs and figured I'd be able to use it. I exceeded the weight capacity for it though so I waited patiently until I lost enough that I was able to pull my own weight. I've been working it for the past year and I love it. I'm down 140lbs with nutrition, steps and the Total Gym. I would love to see more videos on specific areas. With 140lbs lost there is the issue of excess skin but....I'm not giving up the body composition is the point where I'm at in the journey.
That's really great to hear, thank you for sharing that. Always love to hear what's worked for you and or any tips you could share with others that might be helpful.
Great video. Heaps better than the in picture ones you did in the old days. Just easier to relate to. No idea why but it just seems more personal. Keep up the great work.
Thanks good to know, thank you.
Thank you for this video.
No problem at all.
Hey Mike....Last nite I rewatched this video 6 X..I don't think I was using correct form as I never really felt the "pump" paid close attention to my form and possibly for the first time really felt the tension ...pump in the biceps...Thankyou for these videos its a gr8 help😊
No problem Josef. It's really hard to emphasize those slight but major details on form, but happy got it.
I’m really liking your gym set up. That new dumbbell rack is great. I’m wanting a set of dumbells and wonder if the spin locks are best because of price. I like Nuobel adjustables but the price is around 800 dollars. Telk has a set of spin locks for about 250 on Amazon that go to 100 pounds.
I haven’t seen those, but those sound great for the price.
Try to find a total gym 11000,14000,26000. These are old school commercial grade units. The bomb. Much better than the new fit. You can occasionally find these units on eBay. There is one so underpriced $200 approx for the 11000. Oh my. If I did not have my 14000. Do not confuse the 11000 with the 1100.
If we consider the biceps to be secondary flexors and brachialis the primary flexors, wouldn't it also be good to exercise for that brachialis "pathway?" (I'm thinking of knuckles up to begin with, then rotating downward during the movement.)
