If you're interested in buying a Skymax Paramotor, make sure you use the code Huneycuttskymax on the Wisconsin Flight Sports website for a $200 discount. Let me know if you have any questions about this paramotor. Link below: www.wisconsinflightsports.com/paramotors/ Also check out the man, the myth, the legend, Chris Holbert's website predatorparamotor.com/ His shirts are the sickest around and he let us borrow the tandem setup you see in the video. Thoroughly enjoyed the Gin Fuse and the Miniplane spreader bars from him.
Damn serious couple goals! I’m literally saving and head deep in this hobby to hopefully one day be exactly like you two. I’m currently engaged and saving for a wedding but putting some money aside for this too. Moved from NJ to NC (Charlotte area) and , aside from my job, can’t stand the people. Planning on moving to your neck of the woods where people value real living like yourselves. Hopefully buying my wing this winter and motor next year. Going to train with Brook because I want to do most of my flying up in the mountains by you guys. Can’t wait for the journey to start. Awesome content as usual by you two
I went on a ride on a glider once, and the pilot found a cloud and circled under it. We were lifted up so high and so fast. I started getting sick to my stomach from the circling and when I told him, he wanted to get us landed fast. And we did lol. It was a fun adventure.
Another awesome adventure, lots of big smiles in the video from both of you! Launching with a motor midday then cutting power and flying thermals like birds to the clouds, what could be better??
I'm going to buy one too! Do I need to declare the route or apply to the Aviation Administration before departure? Or, we can fly directly, as long as it's not over a military base
Airspace is one of the most important subjects you'll learn through paramotor instruction which I recommend getting. Here's a good start though: usppa.org/airspace/
Could you please do a video on the life span of equipment. wing , harness, engine ect. also how to extend life. it hurts my feelings that if i spent 12 grand that my wing is unsafe after 5 years. I actually owned one of the first paraplanes in 1987. Nathan Taylor of paraplane corporation sold it to me in south NewJersey. It had two engines mounted together with counter rotating props that eliminated torque. each engine was 15 hp. the trike was foldable and it all fit in my honda civic. i didnt get much training . it was one hour when i picked it up new. when i think back it was crazy. had the old style wing and it climed 300 fpm some times less . only flew it 5 hrs and then i flipped it over on take off. wind shift. broke a prop and then i sold it. i live on long island new York so not condusive to flying these machines however i hear there is one guy who lives near the water that flies. would love to try my hand at it again
Being able to fly with your loved ones is so great ! You Can check the video I posted a few hours ago where I do some (light) acro with my 7 years old kid
We each had our own but it's smarter to have one large, properly sized tandem reserve that ideally connects to a second set of carabiners that will bring you down vertically. That way, if the 1st set of carabiners were to break/malfunction, your reserve is attached to another set.
A thermal is a warm rising column of air. When you catch one you gain altitude.. If you notice in the video, when they found a thermal Mark would start circling to stay within the column of rising air until it dissipated.

Thanks. Glad to see you're getting into the sport. Brook is great. Full of energy and had a passion for the sport
Best decision you’ll make is to get a paramoter.

Sweet video for your birthday! Way to represent Hope Coalition! Love you both! 😍

Another fun video from the Huneycutts making more memories. The paragliding experience really helps with the thermals.
I just love the cloud echo! Awesome flight!

That was awesome Orlando Bloom. You should do a thermalling clinic video. How far did yall have to drive to get to that airport?
We were at my parent's house so 8 minutes but it is 40 mins from our house
