This is an interesting technique sliding the loc through the crochet loc. This is the first video I have seen with this technique. I'm very interested in trying. Just pick up a pack with text this technique against the others I've seen for people with locs.
No shade , but other video I’ve discovered to try this style looks too complicated. Or just too much work . THIS is so simple and down to business. Thank you lovely 🥰
Thank you soo much for this! I have been looking for a video showing this technique and yours has been the most informative! I feel like I can actually do this one myself. Could you tell me about how many packs you used of each hair? I didn’t hear it in the video I could have missed it.
Thank you love !!! That’s awesome my video could be so helpful!!! I used three packs of the soft locs and then one pack of spring twist. That you for the question love !!!!
Hi. I’ve wanted to do loc over loc for sometime. This is the first video that looks to have the least amount of damage and stress on the hair. The person doing mine is very concerned about the tension -Does it cause a lot of tension on the natural Loc ? -can you get the crochet hair wet? -how long do you normally keep it on? -what is the take down process like? Thanks I’m advance 😊
Hey love !!!Take down can get harder the longer they are in, with locs you have to be careful cause it’s almost like they will start to loc up!! I like to trim the wrap strands from the outer locs and snip the loop at the root, they slide right out !!!!
Hey love... I would say it honestly depend on the persons hair type. My daughter in the video has bring fine hair that tangles easily, so nothing longer than a month and a half for her. Best solution get the locks oiled and moisturized, when they get dry they will start to lock. Hope that helped 😊
Thank you so much!!! I am located in the Waldorf Md area!!! My new IG is @lashedbyalexisnichole (it’s under construction tho 😊) feel free to drop me a dm for a consult love, happy to service you !!!
@Alexis Nichole I can't find your ig probably cu its reom 2 years aog. Lol I'm located in maryland and interested in a style like this. What's your ig name?
Hey! I would always recommend someone take down for you, by cutting the loop at the root away from the loc, hold the loc at the root to prevent pulling then it’s should slide right out. I do not recommend this being in for longer than a month to prevent a headache at removal !!!

These are beautiful. How was the take down process? I have locs but I have stayed away from crochets because I did not want to cut my locs.

What happens when your real locs locs has new growth ? Do i take out the faux locs?
Yes and yes, we take them right out or rewrap if her hair can handle it !!!
Awesome
What’s the longest you’d recommend leaving them in before they start to lock? What do you suggest to do to extend this time?

how many locs does she have?
She has close to 85 :)
These tutorial need to go hand in hand with removal tutorial together both, so you get the how to install and the how to remove at the same time.
How do you keep the wrap around hair from unraveling? Did you tie it at the bottom?
Yes, I had to use a thin piece of the hair to secure it :)
How do you take this style out w out damaging natural locs ?
