Thank you so much! I’m at 10 months loc’d and can tell it’s growing. But I’m ready for some real length so I just got some butterfly locs and can’t wait to install them over thanksgiving break!!!! ❤❤❤❤ Thank you again! I love how simple it is!!!
Me skipping through to the good parts and thinking to myself, "this must be her friend because they play too much"😂😂😂😂 Them to be blessed with the praise break had me rolling. Great video and it taught me everything I needed to know.
Hello! I'm interested in doing these over my locs as well and I had a couple of questions: 1. Do you find that the butterfly locs become increasingly stiff because of the locs underneath? 2. Does this method also work for longer and smaller locs? (mine are a few inches past my shoulders and I have 100+ locs)
I wouldn’t suggest too, only because microlocs are fragile. There isn’t enough hair at the base of the loc to withstand the tension from butterfly Locs
Hello, all is well. I just watched your video great work. I couldn’t see how you wrapped the ends tips of her locs. I am loc as well and want to and try the diy any suggestions will be great.
Hey! So I do have more detailed videos in my playlist that I did, that show how to wrap the ends. Once you watch them let me know if it shows you. If not, I’ll record a video specifically for that 💕
No it doesn’t get matted or locked together, as long as you don’t keep the hair in for more than 2 months, and as long as you keep your hair lubricated
I was wondering this as well because I’m gonna do my 6 year old some fr the summer because she is going with her dad and i don’t him having ppl in her hair because she locked but everybody in her hair isn’t good plus they re twist so tight that her pops so i wonna these and i was to know am i pose to double up her locs
@@ivoricelestin8008 okay I completely understand. I think doing this method should be fine, just make sure that when you prep her for this style, wash/deep condition. Put rose water, oil mixture in her hair to keep it moisturized. Don’t over do it though lol And instruct her dad to do the same as needed, so about once or twice a week. So that her hair will remained moisturized.
@@ivoricelestin8008 And of her hair gets itchy over time, dampen a wash clothe, put shampoo on it(mix it into the washcloths) and rub on her parts with the wash clothe.
Hello I have question about the take down, now I had these before I dread my real hair and end up cutting off chucks of my hair how would I go about that not happening to my natural locs as well
I wouldn’t suggest to do any ‘protective styles’ until your locs have matured. Because I have noticed that they can be flat or oddly shaped over time. I waited a year before I did a style on my micro locs

You did a great job
They’re beautiful! About how long did the process take?
Thank you! And it took approximately 3 hrs
@@honeycombbeauty5019 good afternoon Queen do you have the link to the hair you used to install the butterfly locs?
QUESTION: Can you do butterfly locs on microlocs/ small interlocs???
I wouldn’t suggest too, only because microlocs are fragile. There isn’t enough hair at the base of the loc to withstand the tension from butterfly Locs
😂 it’s the intro. Y’all funny.
Lol girl we were a trip!
looks great, but why did you double her hair???

Very nice!! Is this style usually heavy?
Thank you 😊 Because I’m not adding much hair, it’s not heavy
my question is during the takedown process does her natural hair get matted or locked together

Do I have to crochet the hair for this style? Can't I do it without crocheting it?
Hey! And no you don’t have too, you can just wrap at the root 3x and it’ll still be secure
Is the hair heavy after you make the butterfly locs ?
I have heard that they can be heavy
I enjoyed the video. What is the length of the spring twist you used in this video?
8’
@@Trulydimee thanks
Thank you! And yes I used 8”, but I wish I purchased the 12”.
Hello, how many packets did you use?
Could this be done on starter locs?

what length of hair did you use?
Hi can I use 3× passion twist to do this style ?
Hey! And yes you can
How many locs did she have thogh?
Around 70-80 locs
