A small correction. At minute 0:48, you must put the game on drive C and rename the folder 2x. This way the translation script will work. It should look like this "C:\DDONGame\DDON\"

I couldn't find out what part of Windows was making it impossible to open the game and causing this incompatibility. (It only works for those who try to open it and don't receive any message on the screen, the game just closes).
I just tried doing this and half the downloads are broken or don't have the files shown in the video. Could you just provide a download link that has all the steps already done?

the download link didn't work with me, with the google drive file it tells me that it is a virus and i cant download it, and when i try to download the 1 fichier file, it tells me that it got deleted. is there any new files that i can download?
It's working pretty well so far, Ive found some bugs that don't let you complete some missions but all You have to do is log out and then play it again, theres like a 5% chance it completes now 😂 it happend a Lot in secondary quest, but it's fun af i love the Big ass shield vocation it's so bland and boring but it's not Bad, i really like it, thanks again :D

Everything works up until i register its saying its an invalid server reply what am i doing wrong? Are there any new invites to the discords? The current ones listed are no longer active/expired
So been playing for a bit, and it's really fun. It feels like a dragon's dogma game. but it's still a heavy work in progress, like half the functionality is missing and the desync is rough. When playing with someone else, also the netcode is fucking garbage, but there's not much that can be done because that was Capcoms doing. The developers are wizards for getting this far, but for all that bellyaching, it's still worth playing because there's nothing like this on the market.
So im having a odd issue. I download the Google drive version and extracted it. Named the folder exactly the same and all, however my NativePC folder within didn't have all the same files yours did (not including the files we move over later). I ignored it for the time being and went ahead and followed the rest of the guide and did as you asked. I noticed when I opened up the launcher it is MASSIVE, it is stretched wide across the screen, made a account, entered it in and click login annnnnnd, nothing happens. Launcher closes down and it goes nowhere. Dunno if the Google drive version is worked or if it extracted poorly orrrr

I figured it out but what I can’t find the ports to play on the server it says local host in the up slot then the s port: 52100 and dl port: 52099 and when I try to register it says invalid response from server. Can someone help me? Appreciated in advance.
So far 1.2 MSQ is implemented and devs are still working on World Quests. Depends on where u want to play, but on Dixdros server we have Season 1 and (mostly) 2 implemented bc we want to have a real progresstion expirience (still need to rework some S1 areas to fit better with quests)

Something like seeing other players around in the White Dragon Temple, and not just some feature that you can only get after running some specific DDO's Co-op support software...etc. 2. Will the server ever get reset whenever there's an update for new contents and such? Will player's datas such as character, levels, achievement, progress, account get wiped out if server gets reset? 3. Does the game have all of the equipments including those from events when DDO was alive? If so, are they hard to obtain? I'd appreciate if the difficulties are about the same like the old DDO, not too hard and not that easy, just needed some grindings perhaps. Though if they can only be obtained by spending an enormous amount of gold (in-game currency) then i think it might be a bit too hard. 4. Does Baza in the game work? Such as selling and buying stuffs from other players. How's the market's prices? Are they reasonable or just straight up robbery? 5. Does the crafting system, equipment dye, weapon enhancement, equipment crest work? 6. Can you register your pawns and hire other player's pawns through the rift? 7. Does the storage chest and character fashion display work? 8. Are there admins or rules to prevent bad players from breaking the game or behaving badly toward other players? Is there penalty for those bad intensions? Would they get banned or simply just got their account deleted?
The game development went very rapid recently, few skilled coders joined the project and busted the development process. So every new update brings (revives) a lot of new features to the game. Now devs said they're reworking some old item management system and once they finish the game will get a huge amount of newly revived features and it will be easier to add new features with reworked one. 1. Devs remove any pay2win and other pay aspects of og. 2. Server owner promised there will be no reset. 3. There are a lot of items in the game and server owner set up some custom events for fashion and rare gear. 4. Bazaar is working. Players can sell\buy materials 5. Basic crafting system works but still wip - you can craft weapon and armor but you can't upgrade it yet. Devs promised to release upgrading, crests etc soon. 6. As for now you will be given 3 free pawns that you can invite in your party and customize their appearance. But very soon they will release more refined pawn system where players can hire other players pawns. Also after the update to get additional two main pawns you will need to unlock them. 7. ? Didn't understand the question. But storage, inventory, shops etc do have a preview window where you can watch your char\pawn equipped with selected item. And there is transmog system. 8. Well, I dunno, but most likely. I mean I never met bad player in this game yet. Everyone are nice and friendly. But of course you can screenshot and send the screenshot to server owner and he will be able to ban the bad player.

@@eaglex1007 Hay, You can transmog/glamour over your current gear, and the storage box are working too. For multiplayer you just need to party up in the tempel and go out adventureing. Outside of the tempel, you only see partymembers. And if someone goes around insulting people or has an inappropriate name or anything else, we will of course take action against it. Just let us know and take a screenshot : )

@@eaglex1007 Yeah, after unpacking the archive, downloading launcher you are good to go. When you will spawn at the WDT you will see some people. Yes you can put items in your storage box. And yes there is layered armor system (transmog or something). You just switch to fashion tab in your inventory and chose the gear you want to be show instead of actual (ugly) one - head gear, chest armor, legs armor, clothing etc. And the same with weapon.
@@glizzywrangler774 you can make a server just for yourself and you can change the server rules to your liking - more money, experience, respawning enemies and scaling them so that the grind is not burdensome, as well as items that were paid in the original version, such as emergency respawning, etc.

I would avoid it like the plague for now tbh it's a HEAVY work in progress rubberbanding is so bad I honestly feel like I am playing an MMO from like 2002. when it works it's smooth but when it doesn't man it's annoying. maybe another year if not more unless a miracle breakthrough happens on the project.

yeah, Dixdros server is a normal progression server, no wipes intended. Just keep in mind that there is still stuff to restore, so maybe earlyer players got "easyer" farming, but still keep there progress.
So my question is.... Will the devs behind the revival project, make new content? such as mobs? quests? vocations? so on? I would totally love if we could have new custom content :)
it isn't the case with most private server projects, we don't often get the source codes of games like this and everything is compiled so making new stuff without the tools they used is pretty much impossible, they could make custom quests i think, with enough time
I tried everything, it seems like for whatever reason it doesn't run on the GPU and instead runs on the CPU power. I got to find a way to switch the graphics
A few questions : 1. Are there any EU servers which are also active? 2. How would you describe what this MMO makes so special? 3. I absolutely love DD1 and 2 but I am not the biggest MMO fan due to boring quest and world design, streched out grind which takes way too long and the over all repetetive nature of them. Do you think I still could have fun with DDO and if yes why do you think DDO is better than many other MMOS ( for Info: I actually loved ff14, because i liked the job system and was really engaged with the story )
the combat is revolving around the holy trinity, u'll benefit a lot from having friends with different classes, for instance a shield sage will be able to get the agro, inflict a ton of status effects, even have an indestructible bubble that can protect everyone inside for a while. other classes will be able to expose monster weak point, so that the dps can do max damage and so on. fighting in this game is so much cooler than in any other, u'll for sure live some epic moment there : )

Hell yeah finally ...how's this game compared to dark arisen? In quests ,exploration,character leveling
DDON is more advanced than ddda in most of those aspects.

Never been a PC Gamer. Just got myself one to play this and get some mods for DD2.
Hey guys is this like a real game now with normal leveling and progression or is it still a test server with everything unlocked
Its with normal leveling and progression, you gotta unlock everything by working/gtinding for it

yeah, Dixdros server is a normal progression server, no wipes intended. Just keep in mind that there is still stuff to restore, so maybe earlyer players got "easyer" farming, but still keep there progress.
followed the instructions its works but there no sound
make sure u don't switch sound devices while the game is running.
So my question is.... Will the devs behind the revival project, make new content? such as mobs? quests? vocations? so on?
I would totally love if we could have new custom content :)
it isn't the case with most private server projects, we don't often get the source codes of games like this and everything is compiled so making new stuff without the tools they used is pretty much impossible, they could make custom quests i think, with enough time

Is anyone having performace issues? I got a rtx 4090 with intel i9-13900H, my gpu wattage is running it at only 12 watts max. Any fixes?
Oh and my fps is 45 fps, doesn't ever reach 60 fps during gameplay, only at the main menu
You should not have any issues running ddon even on 4k with your rig. Maybe it's some other issue causing this.
I tried everything, it seems like for whatever reason it doesn't run on the GPU and instead runs on the CPU power. I got to find a way to switch the graphics

A few questions : 1. Are there any EU servers which are also active? 2. How would you describe what this MMO makes so special? 3. I absolutely love DD1 and 2 but I am not the biggest MMO fan due to boring quest and world design, streched out grind which takes way too long and the over all repetetive nature of them. Do you think I still could have fun with DDO and if yes why do you think DDO is better than many other MMOS ( for Info: I actually loved ff14, because i liked the job system and was really engaged with the story )

Because you can play solo if you wish with party of pawns (just like DDDA)
the combat is revolving around the holy trinity, u'll benefit a lot from having friends with different classes, for instance a shield sage will be able to get the agro, inflict a ton of status effects, even have an indestructible bubble that can protect everyone inside for a while. other classes will be able to expose monster weak point, so that the dps can do max damage and so on.
fighting in this game is so much cooler than in any other, u'll for sure live some epic moment there : )
