Glad to see you are back. Hope you and your family are doing well. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Of the many ways to take out a beaver dam you've showed me, the way you do it is the best way I've seen yet.
I like the added facts about your home land
It is impressive how well the dams are built. Even after removing the sides and having the weight of all that water pushing down on it, the middle refused to collapse.
I like the info idea on your beautiful country!
I agree. Help us learn about your beautiful country!
I love that you are going to start giving facts about Lithuania in each video. I love Lithuania and love to hear more about it. Such a beautiful country. Keep up the great work. Best wishes to you and your beautiful family.
Thank you very much!
Good morning , Very Happy to see you back ❤ . That was a very well built Beaver 🦫 Dam .
Hello mate!
@Kenislovas good afternoon my friend
I love the idea of sharing fact about your country
🙏
Interesting black and white video, that's what we Americans saw growing up in the 60-70s. Very pre wall removal.
It is not Bblack and white, look at the tool, it is colored. It is winter, with snow and natural grey colors.😂
Exactly ✌️
Holy Moley Papa. Frozen Beaver Dams look a lot more labor intensive than summer dams, yes? I was waiting to see how much effort it was going to take to drop that center section of the dam, but finally you got it down !! YAY. It looked A LOT more slippery than usual too.
Thanks mate!
All I could think was how cold your feet must be in those waders! I'm sure you're wearing wool socks, but still...I wear a double pair of wool socks in the winter. Being a knitter means I get to knit my own socks!
@@bobseldestagain I'm sure there is at least a base layer, and maybe some sweats and some nice toasty socks. Provided there is no water intrusions from holes in the rubber. And that has happened in the past where he had to buy a new set of waders.
Your strategy of 'motivating the dam to collapse on itself' proves to be quite effective
Ya , glad to see you back in action. That looked like a tough one to bust. Keep up the good work. God bless you and your family.
Thanks!❤️
Love the new idea of learning more about your country. Looking forward to seeing you remove more dams and more facts about your country. 🤙😎🇦🇺
Thanks🙏
Welcome Back. Well built dam
Hey!
Hey Bro love your sock hat!
Dam it! Ha, perfect!
Great to see you back!
Keep up the nice work/videos!
Lithuania facts 👍🏼👍🏼 when I show my college students a map of Renaissance Europe, they’re always surprised how big Lithuania was
Yeah! :)
You are history teacher ?
@@Kenislovas literature
Strong current to that one.
Good size dam you had to dismantle in that weather your having.I’m sure the hunters appreciate what you did to make it a little easier on them looking for the beavers.great video as always, hope family is all good.just continue on doing what you do best.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Thanks!
Wonderful Video!!
Glad there are no broken bones from Holiday!!
Love the interlude with information about Lithuania. Keep it coming!!
Stay Warm, All the snow is gone in Minnesota USA. Winter never came this year.
Thank you!
Nice job in that weather, young man 👍👍
Thanks mate!
You were suggested to me and man I like your videos! What strikes me the most is that this for you is a day of hard physical labour, for me it’s 30 mins of relaxation… 🙏👍🏻
You are welcome!
Good to see you back Mantas. The pictures from Italy were great.
I like your Lithuania trivia. It's crazy how much I have learned about your country by just watching your videos. Like the White Stork is your national bird, our countries do not celebrate Mother's Day on the same day, and my grasp of the metric system is getting better.
Great job, stay warm bubby.
Thanks and tou are welcome!❤️
Wow! Bet the water was cold !! 🥶
Nice to see you back. That was a cold one today. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you very much!
You are one of the hardest working people on UA-cam. It is a treat to watch you work.
I’m not afraid of hard work I can set & watch it all day
So glad your back. I really like the fun facts about your country. Nice addition🎉
Glad to have you back! Not sure I like the Hunting Beavers! part! Removal Yes Killing NO!!
Mantas, great to have you back with a new season of dams. Great video as always, glad the hunters were able to get the beavers removed. See you later in your next video. David B.,Utah, USA. ❤❤❤.
Western Oklahoma here I haven’t seen a beaver dam out here in 60+ years
Thank you!
Glad to see you wearing a wader belt for safety.
Glad you had the chance to go skiing. My 64 year old brother went skiing last week. I was very worried about him
Glad you had fun.
Great to see you back again! A fabulous dismantling this day. Excellent water flow. Enjoy your week, and see you on the next, Mantas! 🇱🇹🙂👍🇺🇸
Thank you very much Martin!
Thank you Ken.
Great video Mantas as usual. Enjoyed the history lesson.
Thanks Thomas!
Kenislovas,
You are doing important work. I noticed the escaping water looked so happy. It was absolutely joyful as it was running to freedom. That poor water was held stagnant for months in that remote cold prison. Keep spreading the joy.
Thanks mate!
I like the idea you had about offering facts about your country. Interesting.
;)
Good morning. That dam looks frozen! Great video!
Thanks!
Love the Lithonia facts!! Keep them coming
You are welcome!
It's good to see you back breaking dams ,I like the facts part about your country please do your town also ,Your English is getting very good keep up the good work
Thank you very much!
It's difficult to hunt elk here in Montana, Mostly because an elk is huge and hard to even move.
Dam!!!! That looks cold. My AC just went on.
:D
Wow. That tool at the end was pretty awesome! Nice job.
Thanks!
🇨🇦👋 Love the "fact" component to your videos!
Always look forward to your content. Be well!
Love the little history tid bit!
Vous êtes courageux de faire ça en hiver
The snow sure highlights where the water line used to be. Enjoy your videos thanks for sharing.
You are a brave soul!
Greetings from the BIG SKY. I went to Colorado to look at colleges and ski, broke my right ancle at Alta in Utah. A ski trip in a Fastback Mustang. That was 1969, so it was a while back.
Yeah, it's dangerous activity :)
Wow😮 that was a lot of hard work. Great job🎉
Thanks!
That was a tight one
Cool video as always. Stay safe out there.
Thanks!
Welcome back missed watching your videos. Looked hard work and so cold ❄ too
Hey!
That removal with the plow was pretty sweet! Wouldn't want to be the one riding the plow, though....lol!
Thanks mate!
Great job amazing huge dam sure hope the hunters help you out by getting them beavers. Way to save property from more flooding.
Yep, damn wildlife is so inconvenient and inconsiderate, never mind it’ll all be gone soon 👍
I am liking the factoids.
They did an amazing job with engineering this dam. Dirty little buggers!
I just added a video about some land I recently purchased. I think we might have the most water I have ever seen being held up by three dams! Would love to get your feedback on the video as well as any suggestions you have. We will be tearing out the beaver dams here soon!
Very good.
Thanks!
It looks freezing there 🥶
It was 23°C here today ☀️
Yeah it was :)
Nice to see you back at it man. And your numbers still keep going up!
Thanks🤞😀
Another fantastic removal 🎉❤
Thanks!
I enjoyed this video. Very hard work! Maybe you could interview the hunters ? I know you can show the hunting , maybe next time it would be nice to here there side of the Beaver hunt. Anyway another great video. Be safe and warm 👋
I could ask them some questions if you are interested in. :)
@@Kenislovas I wanted to know if they trap them under water ? And do they sell the Beaver Pelts ? I was curious,I hunter Racoons years ago and we sold the pelts . Thank you . I really enjoy your videos and how you work. Best to you 👋
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Thanks!
did they get all the beavers in the area the farmers should be grateful you helped drain there fielded bobsmith
Great job, I like your work
Thanks!
Wow that was a stubborn one
that was a bit of a tough one
Might be a good idea to bring along an extra set of clothes, when it is cold. Thanks for your information and the video.
It was 👌 thanks✌️
That dam has been there for a long time, I bet
I think so. I was there for the 1st time.
Have you thought of using a shovel with a longer shaft so you do not have to bend as much?
When I will break it, next one will be with longer handle😇
Nice appreciate what you do.
i like the country facts, very interesting. keep up the good work! i really like your video's. i wish i could take out dams but that is not possible here in holland.
Thank you!
Hope my question isn't too personal. What was your recent surgery for? Hope you're feeling well.
I slipped last year and broke my wrist. Major reconstructive surgery to fix it.
My Lithuanian is not very good but I am practicing.
Jei galėčiau užduoti asmeninį klausimą. Kodėl jums neseniai buvo atlikta operacija?
Glad to see you back in action! I was having withdrawals! Had to go back and watch some old dam removals. Question: Do you ever do any additional clean up after the water has all drained to make sure that the channel is clear?
Welcome back! Nope I didn't have additional clean ups :)
I hope you have a pleasant trip, and yes no broken bones is a good thing. Glad the new season has started and i look forward to more content. You mentioned that there are hunters around, do you think you should wear orange reflective clothing so you are visible.
Thank you Ricardo! In the hunting of the beavers I don't need it. If it would be in the forest then I have to :)
I liked the information on Lituania. You might also give a little more general information about, or things Lithuania has in common with, some of the other Baltic nations like Latvia and Estonia if you can't think of anything interesting about Lithuania in specific when you release your videos.
very good removing beaver dam.
Yay for no broken bones during your vacation! lol!
You da man , what a beast ! .
Your pronounciation is good, so may I suggest you try using Google translate for the "Did You Know" section of your video? I'm pretty sure that some viewers would have had a bit of difficulty understanding all you explained at the beginning of this video about Lithuania back in the 14th/15th century. Just a suggestion to help your channel a tiny bit, perhaps.
Where does the water come from?
where is water going?
Would the water flow be on a map?
Great video
Water comes from the fields. Water going to the river and finally meets the Baltic Sea. :) Thank you! :)
I was going to ask if you would visit the old dam sites in winter to see them .
I’ve visited some. But not sure how to serve it to be interesting.
@@Kenislovas As an after scene or if the beavers built back . maybe short clips put together of dams you have cleared.
That one looked a bit tougher than the usual ones when it's not so cold and the wood hasn't frozen together with the mud too?
Nope, it could be separated:)
Witam i pozdrawiam serdecznie całą rodzinę.👋👍🇵🇱
Thank you!
Keep up the good work. You are one tough dude. Tell us more about the hunters; are they allowed to use guns or are they limited to traps?
How do you keep your hands and legs and feet from hyperthermia?
While I am working it’s warm✌️😀
If you took out the bigger one first wouldn't the current eliminate the smaller one?
Can you relocate the beavers along way from where they are.
I cannot.
nice work but cold brrrr
Good morning from the Uk, I would like to know how you haven't frozen to death. My God must be cold where you are and yet you still work hard. I hope you get paid a good wage for all your hard work.
I am trying to grow my youtube channel :) Not getting paid of course :)
oh that leaky glove..do you ever think on a hot summers day when the flies bite...that winters not so bad????,,,,,love to you and your family...slava Ukraini rake..love you..
Autumn and Spring is the best✌️😀
Not three minutes ago I was wondering what happened to you!! Hadn't seen your videos / thought you were on vacation to a warmer climate, or the beavers had gotten you. Happy 2024
He put out a video just before he went snowboarding for three days in Italy. This is #2 for the new season.
@@marilynhemingway5219 I was remarking that 3 minutes prior I was thinking of Mantas, then suddenly his 2nd of 2024 was posted. I found the 1st video later on my feed.
✌️😇
That made me tired just watching it. 😮
Love all yur vdeos. Realised that yur last few vdeos the technique u applied is more efficient in collapsing the dam. U concentrate more on the bottom removal..which eventually will lead to a successful n satisfying collapse of the dam. U cud use that method fm now as it will save u more time n energy..💪🏼
Collapse not all the time is possible to make.. If I could I would do it all the time. ;)
@@Kenislovas ah i see..thank u for the clarification. Appreciate yur time to reply n reali njoyed yur videos..keep them coming 💪🏼 support from 🇸🇬
@@x09x09x thank you!
Hey! That glowes are you using??
I follow some magnet fishers from England and they have been calling out for warm gloves for winter, they get wet ofcourse…. So i was thinking you could be the right guy to ask😎 For recommending glowes for wet hands?
They have tryed all they Can get in their marked💯
When you are hard working it’s one thing. And another when you are fishing:)
@@Kenislovaswell 🧲Magnet fishers are throwing heavy magnets into the water, pulling a wet rope, catching bicycles shoppingcarts rebar scaffold pipes… And loads of metal things that people have Thrown in the water.. They Often do this from bridges. That is hard work ! They do that all year…
And have nothing to do with fish-fishing😁 I have been fish-fishing all life… And never wear gloves for that🤷🏼♂️
Magnet fishers are always catching😎
It's looking as white there as it is here. Taking out a beaver dam now will put them to work in a blizzard.
How long would it take to build a 4 ft dam?
IDK, I was there for the 1st time. But I think up to 1 month.
I don't think i need to remind you, but I hope you are taking breaks to get out of that cold water, it's extremely dangerous.
Hi, It was quite warm while I was working there :)
The Polish Lithuanian Confederation once went south to Ukraine including what is now Belorussia.
