I just got the nerve to do this myself after watching your video. Thanks! I had the same problem on my 06 4.7 liter. The part numbers are 68001160AA 68001159AA. I replaced all of the hoses and the thermostat seal while it was empty.
Thanks so much. I have the six cylinder motor. But since being out of town I took it to the dealer. Sometimes ots better to pay especially when time is not on your side
I wish you showed a video of removing the wheel well cover, I have the same issue right now. Part numbers by the way for the 5.7L Hemi engine are 68000977AA and 68000977AB
There is no easy way to do it. You just have to pop out the plastic rivets with a flat head screwdriver. There are 5-6 on the outside wall, 2 on the back wall (towards the motor) and I think 3-4 on the top (looking up)
Don't remember the part #. However this is only found at Mopar. (Jeep Dealership) Just tell them you need the heater core hose for either driver side or passenger side. I replaced the driver side in the video. They can look it up. AutoZone, Discount Auto Part, etc do NOT carry this part. Trust me. It was about $90 after tax.
Jo ca - Did you figure out the problem? I have a coolant leak on the passenger side as well and when the heater is turned on I can smell the coolant inside. Seems related in some way.
@@jtpvg yeah I looked on rock auto I can only find the other side with the metal clamps and not the plastic tee connector I found one on ebay but its 80 shipping and 45 for the part lol

I have the 3.7 L what's the part number on the driver side if you could tell me please
I would imagine the connection on the wheel well side goes to the transmission for cooling. Thanks so very much. Mine broke while out of town
To which of the two tubes coming out of the engine is the hose you replaced connected?

do you know what are the other two hoses called? I have a coolant leak on one of them. But aren't heater core related
Have the same problem, can't find solution/illustration anywhere.

my hoses are routed to the back of the motor with little room to work with... can't get them off
Micah Jones same dude. How do I get to them?
Same problem
Mine is leaking on fire wall what is that?2 lines one is leaking.
Could that cause the coolant to leak?
Yess
Can you disconnect the 3way connector without cutting the hoses ?
You can't. Its glued together at the tee.
@@jtpvg I been trying to find this part cause mine is leaking I cant find it anywhere
I got mine from rock auto. You just have to know if it's the inlet or outlet side.
