Hey Buster, good to see you. Rudy, as always, thanks for a most helpful video. That was a great walk around the machine and outstanding set of tips for preventive maintenance.
Thank you a lot. My gf called a technician and told her that she needs to buy a new dishwasher 😂. So I told her let me watch some UA-cam videos. Thanks for the extra tips. Might need to see where is that leaking coming from.
Thanks for the content; no fluff or life story first; just actionable information, ( perfect). Fun Fact: Whenever tackling a new creature; I have developed the habit of taking pictures of all related connections on my cellphone. Foray, It was very helpful when repairing my HVAC system which has wiring that looks like a colorful plate of spaghetti This is the 3rd water leak that sprang up out of no where during this project; I started out with a waterline leak under the kitchen sink; so, I decided to knock out replacing / upgrading the twin sink faucet to the high swooping style ole girl has been fussing about, with the sprayer hose built into the head, ( by the by, I called support to talk to the hobbit that decided to put 19" waterlines on the faucet with no adapter for anyone with a kitchen sink above knee level - of course they had voicemail; and actually called me back to say I could buy an adapter if I wanted at a hardware store; seriously) Then figured well, I might as well install a garbage disposer while under the sink; that she has been keckling about, and the new configuration of the sink drain pipes developed a leak; which it would be nice if the PVC drain pipe people knew more than three different geometric angles, ( I have a peekaboo style garbage roller basket under the sink which afforded that next level degree of difficulty to route around. Then to power the garbage disposer; I went behind the dishwasher, ( which wasn't leaking beforehand), and there was one outlet plug in a utility box back there just laying on the floor, ( just waiting for a water leak; I suppose); so, I threw and outlet box in the wall & added a 20amp double outlet; and noticed some green mold starting to form on both lower sides of the cabinet walls; and killed it with peroxide and sealed it with some KLITZ; then laid a bead of DEP Caulk - Acrylic Latex + Silicone around the inner edge; and used some xtree roofing aluminum flash with HVAC metal tape to direct the water out if there was ever a water leak; instead of the water just pooling under the dishwasher until it falls through the floor; and in testing the dishwasher before putting it back under the counter; I found this very same leak. I added this much detail for two reasons; one as booster comment in return for you providing useful content; and in the event this marathon waterline leak, turned multi-day project detail(s) may help anyone else in a similar situation. Peace
Yes that's right. I actually did look for replacement o-rings and couldn't find a part number for them. I'm sure that I could have taken the size and diameter and matched them up at the o-ring store, but when looking at the o-rings they didn't really look damaged anyway... SO there might have been a small crack in the housing. I didn't look at it to close...
Just fixed mine yesterday!!! Only spent $50 for the part too. Thank you.
Nice! I seem to remember my motor was more than that... I want to say 70 or more.. But I can't remember. Glad you got it going... 😊

1:00 in the little valve that has the 2 red wires coming from it what is that called mine is leaking from that… any help ?
Do you mean the inlet valve?
So you replaced the entire pump and motor assembly, not just the O rings, right?
