My mother died Tuesday 14 May 2024 from liver cancer . My Father died 20 hours later unexpectedly May 15th. 3 months ago yesterday and today. They were buried together June 11th. My life was turned upside down in an instant and never been the same since.

I am 73 going on 74 in October. I’ve had an amazing life. I still play tennis and golf and I tried to live every day as best I can I mean I know that eventually I’ll be gone too, and hopefully I’ll always be remembered for good things that I’ve done in this life.

This has made me emotional and hurl me into deep thoughts. How short our life is and how unpredictable it is. We fight, we get angry with our love ones for many trivial things. Cut our relationship or doesn't speak with them. But once they're gone they'll never be back again. We can't either apologize for our mistake or express our regret. Both my mom and dad is old. And it scare me to think that their days are getting shorter each day.😢 To all the departed soul in the video and all the nameless people who have passed away and missed by their love ones. RIP.🙏💔

I've watched quite a few of these videos now. It strikes me how sad it makes me feel to see hundreds of famous actors, singers (worldwide, btw) etc passed away. Make no mistake... These aren't ordinary people. These are people who have gained name and fame for their artistry over the years. Unlike many commentators here, from who most will pass away without the world knowing them. But these people. Special people. People, or the characters they played, who made other people happy, sad, proud, or had for whatever reason an important meaning in their life. These people whom I remember most of them... Make no mistake… they were absolutely ordinary people. Unfortunately for them their faults and foibles are on at least the national stage, sometimes international. My grandfather was famous back in the day (died in 2001), and he was a regular person. He put his pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us.
As I get older, I am finding we are really not here for very long. I've watched familiar faces grow old. I've watched culture shift and completely change form. I guess for that reason we must find a way to enjoy every moment we can of this human experience.

It was so sad to see so many at end of life, most of them I have seen on the silver screen or the telly. It brought tears to my eyes, especially those who were too young to go... Their legacy will live on, and God bless their families as the grief will be fresh... much love to all the people on this planet...
What strikes me is how so many of these fine actors were still relatively young. We all imagine we will live into our 80's, but so many of us don't even make it past our 40's or 50's. A sobering reflection. Live life to the full every moment, spend time with your loved ones every chance you get, because none of us really know how long we have left.
This is a beautiful tribute not only to those who were more famous but respect to the ones who not so well known..so sad of the very young. I lost my Mom in July 2024, lived a beautiful 98 years....I miss her dearly, I find while great to have them so many years, you miss them even more as a loving routine has ended. R.I.P. to all.😢

I've watched quite a few of these videos now. It strikes me how sad it makes me feel to see hundreds of famous actors, singers (worldwide, btw) etc passed away.
Make no mistake... These aren't ordinary people. These are people who have gained name and fame for their artistry over the years.
Unlike many commentators here, from who most will pass away without the world knowing them.
But these people. Special people. People, or the characters they played, who made other people happy, sad, proud, or had for whatever reason an important meaning in their life. These people whom I remember most of them... Are now gone..

Make no mistake… they were absolutely ordinary people. Unfortunately for them their faults and foibles are on at least the national stage, sometimes international. My grandfather was famous back in the day (died in 2001), and he was a regular person. He put his pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us.
As I get older, I am finding we are really not here for very long. I've watched familiar faces grow old. I've watched culture shift and completely change form. I guess for that reason we must find a way to enjoy every moment we can of this human experience.
Deeply surrender all attachments everyday, including the body, because the only thing we can take with us, is the ability to trust and let go.
All the strong invincible heroes of my youth are gone. Our time here is fleeting.

What strikes me is how so many of these fine actors were still relatively young.
We all imagine we will live into our 80's, but so many of us don't even make it past our 40's or 50's. A sobering reflection. Live life to the full every moment, spend time with your loved ones every chance you get, because none of us really know how long we have left.
