My 4 year old Whirlpool dishwasher leaks intermittently from the door. I have had 2 repair people investigate, from 2 different companies, only to say they couldn't find out why it is leaking. This is very frustrating. I thoroughly clean the dishwasher, so there is no debris blocking anywhere. I will never purchase a whirlpool product again. Do you have any suggestions?
@@justinfields5154 I replaced the seal on the on the soap tray for about $20 and it did the trick. I looked up some videos on how to replace the soap tray to see how to get to it. Took about 20 minutes.
I had the same issue with mine at 4 years old. i started by replacing the gasket with no luck. I then read about the Lower Spray Arm being cracked and spraying too much water on the door thus causing it to leak at both lower corners of the door. I ordered and replaced it a couple days ago and thus ran 3 loads of dishes through it with no leaks!!! Problem was Lower Spray Arm. Good Luck!!
Mine was leaking lots of water in the front only of my dishwasher. No water under the dishwasher when I pulled it out. The water covered most of my kitchen floor. What do you think might be the cause?
My whirlpool is 9 months and is leaking from the plastic piece connected to side of dishwasher where you hook up your nose. Can that be replace? Anyone know what that is called?
What is the model number of your dishwasher? If it is only 9 months old you should be able to reach out to the manufacturer and see if they can get someone to come take a look at it as it should be under some type of warranty still.
This is a new dishwasher.i only use my dishwasher once a day.i notice water coming from under the bottom doing the cleaning.am I doing something wrong?
4 year old Whirlpool dishwasher leaking from the door. 2 repair people could not find the reason. I keep it very clean from debris inside. I have taken the screen apart on the bottom and clean it often. I don't think I would ever consider another Whirlpool product.
Built a new house in 2019, moved in in 2020. Bought a suit of whirlpool appliances. So far, dryer $600 motherboard went bad, (replaced with Speed Queen) refrigerator freezer door had heat fan go bad(dealer got whirlpool to replace for free $900 dollar door since couldn't be fixed), upper rack of dishwasher broke(design flaw), and now water pours out the door still after lower gasket and door gasket have been replaced. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider purchasing whirlpool. JUNK!

Thank you! This was fantastic!
My dishwasher was leaking water, now there is a pool of water stay at the button. What is the problem probably? What to do to check on it

I’m having the same problem and no luck trying to figure out what it is! Maybe the seal on the soaps dispenser?
Mine is doing the same now from behind the door. I can feel behind and the insulation is wet

You will need to check the door, make sure it's aligned properly and the door seals for damage. Also, check your spray arms for blockages.

My Beko dishwasher started to leak steam on the sides, i replaced the gasket and the same !
You will want to check the door alignment, if it is off it could cause that issue.
thank you so much!😀
Mine is leaking from the gray port on the sump next to the corrugated drain tube. What should I do?
You may try to replace the drain tube and see if that helps with the leaking? What is the model number of your dishwasher?
Great Video Mate. It was dead on!

My husband says our Whirlpool dishwasher has no lower gasket under the door. I couldn't find one...
Mine doesn’t either.
It doesn’t have an extra gasket. It’s the whole inner door assembly that is supposed to be replaced 🙄
