I wasn't sure the Wickiverse could ever top "knife museum" but then they gave our man John a pair of nunchucks and...well...
Wick unfortunately had to rejoin his "mob family" to get a crest for the duel. Winning the duel freed him from the table, but he was still bound to his "mob family". Faking his death totally frees him. Wick's dog keeps looking to the left at his grave and gives away the idea John is still alive.
and how laurences character says "or buried" makes me think he had a secret agreement with wick that we never saw that happened between 3 and 4

@@MonicaHolly143 Honestly I’m inclined to believe the latter option here, simply because John Wick Chapter 5 is being written, so faking his death to fully get out I would believe

@@MonicaHolly143 He has said before in the past that he’d like to do as many John Wick movies as the fans want, Obviously they won’t push him to keep going but he has said that before, and besides like I said, Chapter 5 is already being written

The perfect ending for the series. He either took his gun belt off and passed away as a free man and loving husband, or escaped the life. This movie is pure beauty.
You will see John Wick again in Ballerina which takes place between John Wick 3 and 4. And you will learn more about Caine as they just announced a spinoff movie about his character.

The reason they were missing each other during the duel and not instantly getting killing blows on one another is cause those dueling pistols are smooth bore meaning they don't have a rifling (the corkscrew pattern on the inside of a gun's barrel.) This causes the pistols to be pretty inaccurate when shooting.

John Wick 5 is in the works.
Killa was played by Scott Adkins, who I've seen in several other movies. It took halfway through the poker hand until I recognized him and then I started to grin. They set it up to make it look like the character is just going to be a pushover, but Adkins being involved means serious ass is literally going to get kicked.
Seen his interview talking about this. He is really proud of his card trick skill. 😂

If you watch The Continental it seems as if maybe Winston is John Wick's uncle.
My thoughts are that there are 2 possibilities here. 1 - John is not dead. That grave would be an ideal cover to make people think he is and allow him a peaceful life after everything that's gone on. 2 - if he is dead he could come back in some flash back sort of way. Imagine either a film or something that shows how he got started as a hitman? There is the ballerina spin off that's coming, and I think footage was already shot that could allow a future glimpse of him in a later film. BTW - Killer Hakan - the 'big boy' as you call him. Do a youtube search for someone called Scott Adkins. You might be surprised 😃 Great video though.
