People really forget how strong Michael is , I would say he is like 5 times stronger than a normal male judging by how he lifted that fire fighter , it makes a lot of sense that he can overpower everybody 1on1

also they dont realise that if everybody attacked him at once, they;d be hitting, shooting and stabbing each other in the process.

Thats why they explicity move the camera from us seeing it, to her seeing it.
The terror of her having to watch that as she dies slow and helpless, he was getting a kick out of that.

He something like that in the first film when Michael killed Laurie’s friend and put his sister Judith’s grave stone next to her dead body on the bed.
The Loomis scene used no CGI whatsoever. I believe they took the construction Foreman on set, who looked somewhat like Donald Pleasence, and came up with an 11 piece prosthetic to put on his face, and then had someone do the voice.
They did amazing job

Same! This movie has so much to discuss and Changes the characters so much that it’s incredible. The fact that this movie states out loud that our main character who we love so much, Laurie strode, was wrong. Micheal wasn’t coming for her, and she was ignorant and a narcissist to make this entire situation about her. This film makes out characters extremely complex and interesting. From what I believe, we aren’t supposed to like many of the characters we are seeing and that’s the point. They are all Michael Myers and we aren’t supposed to like Micheal. Also the over-the-topness of lonny and the townspeople, reminded me how dr Loomis was in Halloween 4-6. So I think there are just going for having all the characters be as crazy as Dr loomis.
@julia bonavita well said. Im just curious as to how the plot is going to play out with it being 4 years later with the pandemic going on. Not only that but where would Michael be hiding after all that time?? I doubt he'd be in his own home especially after all that has happend there

I meannn there was a trial. Michael got convicted. At the very least, Tommy and Brackett should have known what he looks like from the jump. But yeah, just suspension of disbelief here.

This movie is really setting up the feud between Michael Myers and Laurie.
I liked the ending, which pretty much confirmed what we already suspected, that he's not human. "No mortal man could survive that fire, the more he kills the more he transcends".....into something else. They kept trying to convince the audience he was human by telling us he's human, he's just a man yet he's been shot, beaten, stabbed, and burned. The only way I think they will be able to kill him is to separate his limbs from his body.
"The suggestion that he is more than a man is a theory that Laurie has,” the director tells IGN. “My own personal concept for Michael, which will carry forward as long as I'm involved, is that he's capable of spectacular things but not impossible [things]. So I don't personally see him as supernatural, but I see the element of fear that he's generated and exacerbated is transcending the immediate character and moved on to an entire community."
Idk why people keep interpreting the film ad stating he's not human and using Laurie as evidence.
She clearly doesn't have a clue what's going on with Michael. Just minutes before she made that guess, trying to rationalize Michael actions and abilities, she was convinced it was all about her.
The notion she post hoc "just knows" the secret to Michael shortly after , is just absurd.
This is like the Sartain thing from 2018 all over again.

The whole mythos behind Michael is that he is the personification of pure evil(he doesn't need a reason he is just the host of it) and you can't kill evil, only its host and said host gets stronger the more he kills(evil is empowering him).

Literally every-time someone asks why Michael won’t die , I just know they’re not understanding the movies or what they’re trying to do. We never saw the backyard to his house. If there’s an opening from the other side that leads to the backdoor then that could make sense

If he could teleport, he wouldnt have had to hide in the gun rack and wait for the firemen, he wouldve just teleported out of there. It wasnt sudden either. He wasnt far away to to begin with. By the time Karen got back there to Allyson, Michael was already back up,killing the group, and by the time he git back to the house, Allyson had been bandaged up by the EMTs. Thats plenty of time for him to sneak back in the house.
Yes, Michael Myers does kill kids too. He killed a kid in halloween 2018, the kid in the truck. And if you think about it, under 18 is a kid. Everyone he went after in the original film was a kid. They were all high school kids.
The hospital scene pissed me off, different body type and he was running away. Michael is homicidal not suicidal. The news contributed to this, two people were still missing from the mental institution Michael and the other guy. The only picture they showed on the news was the other patient, so by this time people think its him. The institution would have had pictures of Michael because he's been there for forty years. This is what mass hysteria looks like, people were looking for a scapegoat to ease their emotional trauma, fear and anger, in this state of mind people aren't using their rational brains to think clearly and this is how innocent people get killed.

i think at the end Karen was dreaming bc she closed her eyes and did a deep breath and was seeing baby michael. If she was looking outside how come she didnt see Tommys dead corpse and started running
The mob assault was blocks away from the Myers house, so the streets they were in were completely different. After Michael killed everyone else, he probably just walked in from the back entrance. It could be a dream sequence, but that would add a lot more convolution.

I believe all three movies were supposed to take place in the same night but since Covid happened, they ended up changing things up and will have the 4 year time jump which begs the question, where is Michael going for 4 years??

The firefighter scene didn't "spoil" how Michael survived the fire, it was after he obviously survived the fire. It wasn't shown in the trailer, but in the movie Michael was shown coming out of the "gun storage cabinet/room after the firefighter fell through the floor and into the basement. The firefighter scene in the trailer was a "spoiler" as a reveal of the first kills of the film, but not as to how Michael survived the fire. The fact that Michael is in the film makes it obvious that he survived the fire, but unless you were paying attention and saw him come out of the gun storage "room" when the firefighter fell through the floor, you'd realize that he wasn't standing amongst the flames from the time the fire was started til' the firefighters arrived.

Halloween kills was a massive Improvement from Halloween 2018 Imo Didn't like some of the humour and some of the story directions felt off to me Halloween Kills fixed all of that for me the humour was way better the Violence was awesome and so metal especially John Carpenters score OMG so good and its not often a sequel makes me appreciate more things I didn't like from the previous film this one did a great job props to David Gordon Green especially loved the 70s flashback sequences so well done

Don't you remember when Loomis and Brackett found the dog in part one? Brackett says *How could any man do this? * and Loomis says *This is no man *. They had also taken a right after going through the door. That's a detail you can't leave out. Fact is Michael is THE embodiment of evil. The things he does to dogs in these movies are likely done to prove he's the most incredibly horrible evil thing that ever walked on two feet.
I don't think he cares about the dogs. They were protective of their masters, Michael is a danger to those masters, so the dogs were only obstacles to his prey and had to be removed or they were food themselves. He never harms dogs out of maliciousness, unlike with humans.
@@robertphillips213 Idk, the dog they found in the house was before he killed anybody in the town, but he could've belonged to the guy whose clothes he stole. The one in Zombie's H2 was crated and after he already wasted everybody. The only one I can think of out of necessity was Lindsay's dog in the original. He definitely uses them as a food source.
Michael Myers lore-wise is the embodiment of evil. Which technically makes him more evil than every other horror villain. He's the OG that really kicked off and started the whole slasher genre. He's not a zombie, or really human. He's just the manifestation of evil from what I read. So even though horror villains like Freddy Krueger have done worse things, Michael Myers is supposedly still more pure evil. At least in this movie they finally show you that's he's definitely more than just human and give you the idea that the more he kills the more he transcends into something even worse or darker. Even in the DBD video game he's the only killer than can outright defy and displease the cosmic Lovecraftian god, The Entity.

I bloody loved this film. I actually liked how they showed the scared side of his face because it actually shows theirs no man. Just a scars and evil. I am hoping they explain mikel a little more in the next film just not using any supernatural thing. I prefer in films like these more realistic reasons as to what makes them what they are.
Michael kills everything except babies, he snapped a kids neck in the 2018 Halloween. In this one we didn’t get to see it I hope it’s in the deleted scenes on the Blu Ray and 4K.

It has been a hot point of controversy for a very long time, but the evidence has been there all along, Micheal is NOT human. Even Loomis on many occasions in the other films too, (even though they aren't canon with this timeline) has said countless times, he is not a man, he is pure evil, which is why Micheal Myers is credited as "The Shape" as in Evil has taken on the shape of what appears to be a man, but is much more.
It's still limited. If you cut his head off, he's not getting up.

Well if you have seen any of the other movies in between. He goes like dormant in a way. Then suddenly he just comes out of it then once he does he’s unstoppable again.
Halloween Ends release this year October 14th, 2022. It's set to take place 4 years later with main characters Laurie, Allyson, Lindsey. The working title is Cave Dweller, there are soo many things we need answered so I wonder what ends will bring since it left off with soo many questions.

As far as the mob scene goes, most of those people had never even seen Michael before. Only the Strodes, Hawkins, and Lindsey saw Michael and lived to tell about it. Danny hadn’t seen Michael in 40 years, so he doesn’t really know either. They let their fear overcome common sense, which became mindless savagery. Which is essentially what Michael does.

In the original Halloween Dr Loomis mentioned that a dog was dead because Michael got hungry and then on Resurrection when that red headed girl was walking through the unrealistically large basement with connecting tunnels it showed that he had a little bedroom set up with a dead rat on what looked like an electric burner. He ate whatever he came across.

Get ready for the finale movie in 2022 Halloween Ends coming in October. Now it’s personal for Laurie Strode. Laurie Strode vs. Michael Myers.
David Gordon Green, the director (and one of the writers) of Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills has emphasized after this movie came out that in their story Michael is absolutely human/mortal but he does "the improbable, but not the impossible," things that most people aren't capable of which, as demonstrated in the end here, lead people in-universe to believe that he is something unstoppable. Not entirely believable, but still interesting to see how the third movie, Halloween Ends, handles things as it's supposed to dive into Haddonfield's perception of Michael after these events (as it takes place after a four year time-jump).

I’m pretty sure that’s not the case at all. Because the director himself already said Michael is not supernatural in this universe. Can he take way more damage then a regular person yes. But you not gonna cut his head off or something and he still alive. Also I think u missed the fact that in the house Michael was hiding it’s why he didn’t get burned to death. Plus he wasn’t down there very long. Probably only minutes before the fire department got there. Think about it Halloween 2018 ended with Karen, Laurie, and Allyson in the bed of a truck and this one picks up from that very spot with the fire department already on the way. What Laurie was saying at the end is how she feels and now probably the hole town because Michael instills that fear that he’s transcending
@@mushflaw1 he actually never outright said that. Infact in recent interviews that's exactly what he's hinting at. Sorry to burst your bubble, but we all knew he was supernatural this whole time from the older movies.
@@mushflaw1 This dude got shot 6 times back in 78 fell from the second story of a house got up with no problems to go kill somewhere. Flashforward to 2018 he yet again gets shot a few times stabbed ran over by a car and caught on fire still alive, also survived smoke inhalation and everything that goes along with that. This movie again got shot over 4 times stabbed by a pitchfork a knife multiple times and beat down by a group of people with multiple weapons and stabbed in the neck area. He isn't and never was normal he is supernatural nobody normal survives all of that with no medical attention he does it and gets right back up can you name a single "Natural? person do those things

I'm going to defend the firefighters, cause if I was one, I would be scared to life to see that, that 2 of my fellow firefighters are more less dead, with a psychopathic things coming out with the firefighters hallengon bar, with intentions to kill us,and the reason the firefighter uses the hose is because the pressure is crazy on those things, a normal human would have been knocked over and more less dead

That was strange that they were shocked that Michael killed a kid. At the beginning of the video they said they watched and recapped on Halloween 2018 in which Michael killed a kid in that film.
It was a good movie idc what people say about it, its funny how some people are bitching about Myers killing the fire fighters like really its just a movie last I remembered one of the other Halloweens an entire PD was slaughtered I still love the fire fighter scene they tried but died.

Halloween 2018 is a direct sequel to Halloween 1978, retconing all the other sequels.
So basically a ritual happened, making it to where Michael is practically invincible, and is why he is insanely strong, it is the reason he killed his family, as a sacrifice to complete the ritual and give him these powers
That's not canon here, but it is probably something similar to that

Michael's only sibling in this timeline was Judith Myers, who Michael stabbed in the original. Michael is not after a family member, but after the one who got a way - Laurie and her granddaughter.
