- Why were there so many cases of men who had depression and post-traumatic stress disorder?
In today's special episode of the Social Wave Project (and part of Titanic: Titan of the Sea), I will be interviewing my friend and registered nurse, @ClaireCarmichael.
In our interview, I share cases of survivors having PTSD experiences with Claire and we discuss why men (during 1912 and today) had/have little or no support to help with their experiences.

Thank you Sez for this! It was such great pleasure to do this video with you :) 🦋💜🌻
You are most welcome, Claire; honestly, it was a pleasure to have you on 🌻🌻💜💜
Another great interview always good to hear about the effects of the incident for the survivors
Thank you so much, Paul. I couldn’t agree more; it’s so rare that people talk about this topic 🙂
PTSD kicks me hard so I know exactly what that feels like 😢😢
Thanks for the video though sis 😘😘
I heard of a story where Charles Lightoller, the only surviving senior officer, took a cool bath and ended up going into a trance or something like that because it reminded him of being in the water during the sinking.
I can name off at least 3 survivors who committed suicide though it was after some hardships.
