One of my favorite series. I was there from the beginning and I remember how thrilling it was to finish 2033 when I was 14. The atmosphere was something I've yet to me experience in a game.
Yeah I just beat exodus after playing the previous two game and I get chills already. I just spent the past few hours thinking about my experiences of the games after binging them all week and am getting nostalgic already. What a great series of games
Seen 2 Videos from your channel and this content your making is wonderful hope you get a lot of subscribers so others can see your videos and now you entice me to get all the games on this series. Wonderful Man 👏
To me it sounds like a more tactical version of fallout not a copy though still very unique. I will think about buying the redux and if i do and like it I will buy the new one just want to know that is their more enemies then those that were mention and the other factions?
@@invictus8576 oh I got them all, I never got around to finishing Exodus but I beat the other two in the hardest difficulty, I enjoy the lore and art but what I really love is the ost especially Departure, one day I like to get around to learn how to play some of the songs on guitar My fav one of the bunch is def the first one, I would like both on the same level but that one underground church mission makes me hate Last Light the only gripes I have with the games are rooms with unlimited enemies and the watchmen, I fucking hate the watchmen, they are the most annoying mfers I have ever dealt in a game, there’s always like 50 of them and their attacks are so fucking unpredictable, they’ll hit me once taking half of my health and just run away or they’ll do fury swipes on me and kill me in less than a second
Man, I never played the metro series at all but I’ve always seen it on the PlayStation store. Just yesterday I bought last light on the switch and the first 1 hour I fell in love! Then I looked up the metro games on the PlayStation store and saw that all 3 games are in a bundle for just $18!! I’m definitely getting this bundle tomorrow!
Very professional review, I don't know why it has so few views. About Metro Exodus, the game is a gem, a bit unploished with some bug here and there but it's a masterpiece.
Inredible video man! Can't wait for Metro: Exodus. It looks amazing and will likely be an improvement over the previous titles in just about every aspect. The one thing I dislike is that the weapons have like no recoil whatsoever. Really enjoyed that about the series and made gunfights much more challenging that some of the other fps games on the market.
For a game I knew nothing about&95 for free randomly cause I liked the look of, it was really good, and then I realized I played the 2nd game first, and then realized there was another game and got happy, really good game I don't have many first time experiences to recall of gaming thanks to UA-cam and this was one
well done on the summary of the entire metro series. surface levels might be quite linear, but I think that it is justified pretty well as the gas mask/filter time is too limited to roam around for a long time. there is one last thing to point out: the replayability of both 2033 and last light are pretty low. I hope they will address this issue with exodus. by the way, you're doing it just well as a channel. I hope you'll get the recognition that you deserve. unfortunately, the gaming part of youtube is quite oversaturated. I hope people won't write you off as another cookie cutter channel.
I have no issues with linearity anymore, after playing so many open world games. You realize Open World often means the world is either empty, or filled with medium to low quality storytelling and non-sense that doesn't add much to the overall quality of the game. The only game I can think of where this wasn't the case, was New Vegas and The Witcher 3
I used to hate liner levels until I played these games. But now I am really fed up of modern open world games that feel really empty, although I still like an element of freedom, I think Exodus has got open worlds just right, they are small enough each experience is detailed and unique, but big enough you can approach things in lots of ways and explore.
Calling Days Gone a Last of Us clone is extremely myopic and shows that you never played the game. They both take place in post apocalyptic settings, involve some iteration of zombie creatures, and have crafting systems. That’s where any similarities end…
I played the series and they spoiled me, now i can't find something to play equally immersive and interesting :/.... Played the first stalker too and was very good.
While I love Metro Exodus as much as the others, they didn't try to cater to the niche audience of diehard, loyal fans and instead tried appealing to a larger demographic. Yeah, I get it, larger audience means more money. But I don't see why Exodus couldn't have instead gained the love of the fans, and with the way the Internet is today compelled newer fans to try it out and then go back to play the old.
underrated youtuber talks about underrated game. truly a masterpiece
Underrated youtuber on an Underrated game series based on Underrated books

Metro is amazing, incredibly underrated. but anthem, that’s a joke, literally went under within a day
1:24 "mammals like dogs, bears, and snakes". i've heard of milking the snake but this is taking it to a whole different level!
👏 well done great video jordan. This video was really well put together and presented good job seriously keep up the good work.
Cheers big ears :)
wow, its only been a few months since I played last light, and that music still gives me chills, one of the best games I have played.
Yeah I just beat exodus after playing the previous two game and I get chills already. I just spent the past few hours thinking about my experiences of the games after binging them all week and am getting nostalgic already. What a great series of games
Thanks for this video, super useful to get a complete and quick overview of the pillars of the Metro franchise!

Did you end up buying the games? If so what did you think?

Fallout is poor quality in comparison
It's weird that out of those 3 games that came out that day metro exodus is the one that's easily the most notable.
Being the only game with RTX global illumination helps immensely I imagine
@@Rudenbehr only one being good and not from a dead franchise too
Really great, informative video!
The remasters also came out on the switch and they look and play amazing. That's how I first played the metro games
One of my all time favourite franchises I absolutely love every aspect of these games.
i always loved the metro series. hell i played them on xbox ps and now on pc. i cant get enough of it. great vid . Keep up the rad work!

You should do a reading of H.P. Lovecraft's The Colour Out of Space.
Brilliant voice

The metro series is the only video game series i can say that i like all of the entries in their own way.

Yeah boi
On wasn’t exited about anything after 76 but metro looks bad ass
On sale for $14 on GOG, worth it ?
Hmmm think i might get one of em
For me, linear levels are biggest plus :D
Did he say "Spartan", "Sparran", "Spadan" or "Sporren" ....? Please clarify!

metro series has aged like fine wine 🍷
what's the most underrated games like metro game series???
I think you are an underrated UA-cam channel
I am very late to reply but thank you very much XD. I must have missed this comment somehow, I'm sorry

Have you played Exodus, what's your thoughts on it now?
yes, working on a video
Are the metro games connected or can I pick up number 2 off the bat
You prob know this by now but it's better to play metro 2033 first since it's connected
Now replay them all on Ranger Hardcore mode :P
My top 3 fav game series of all time:
Mortal Kombat
Red Dead Redemption 2
Metro.
Calling Days Gone a Last of Us clone is extremely myopic and shows that you never played the game. They both take place in post apocalyptic settings, involve some iteration of zombie creatures, and have crafting systems. That’s where any similarities end…
Metro series is by far most favorite series, for so many reasons, i just wish there was the cult following that stalker has
Awesome books awesome games
I don't want to talk about what game I picked up that launch day...😅 I wasn't into Metro series yet. Lord forgive me!
Agree
Epic games introduced this franchise to me lol
All three games for a completionist is about 100 hours.
I played the series and they spoiled me, now i can't find something to play equally immersive and interesting :/.... Played the first stalker too and was very good.

And soon Nintendo Switch. :)
Let me explain why: Russian Fallout and without de clunckiness
This is what happens in Russia after the great war from fallout
anthem and days gone. LMFAO
How the fuck is days gone a the last of us clone?
I liked days gone maybe more then tlou
Very biased review, good games and books tho.
i hate videogame morality systems and this is one of the worst for me
