I'll give you some corrections: At the beginning of time, there was a great blast, creating a realm of light and a realm of the void. The realm of light was filled with "planets," which are actually sleeping titans. These titans were extremely powerful, to the point that the void lords (most powerful beings of the Void) were unable to invade and destroy the realm of light. Instead, they got together and created the Old Gods, parasitic things designed to corrupt a nascent titan it lands on, and sent out so many of these things that just about every planet was infested by them. The Titans were a council, consisting of a bunch of nobodies and Sargeras, whom was the strongest Titan of the bunch. His self-appointed task was to purge the corruption of the Void by destroying any and all Old Gods he came across. However, there was myth of an even stronger Titan, one that has not yet awoken: Azeroth. Supposedly, Azeroth has enough potential to defeat the Void Lords within their own realm. This made protecting Azeroth a priority to the titans (sans Sargeras since he was busy killing stuff), so the titans created titan keepers, whom in turn crafted endless armies of machines. In addition, the titans blessed a couple proto-dragons, making them into the dragonflights we know/care about. This is where things went downhill. Sargeras found a planet too corrupted by the Old Gods to save, and had to kill a planet(and by extent, a Titan). This tweaked him a bit, and he decided to fill up on Fel energy, corrupting him. He then killed all the other titans that were a part of the council, freed all the demons they'd captured after making them swear fealty, and thus created the Burning Legion. He sent them on a Burning Crusade, which was to invade the various planets, convert/kill everything there, then destroy the planet and bring its remains into the Twisting Nether, none of those in a specific order. The Twisting Nether and the Void were the same thing right up to about this point, then they became separate entities (which is why lore before this point use the names interchangeably). Old Gods on Azeroth (specifically Yogg-Saron) corrupt the titan keepers and their creations with the Curse of Flesh, creating the mortal races of Azeroth. Some keepers succumb to the madness within the curse, others avoid it, others still find a cure. Old Gods on Azeroth corrupt Neltharion the Earthwarder, whom takes the new mantle Deathwing. Prior to this, The Earthwarder was tasked with forming more land and mountainous borders to keep the numerous races at peace with each other, but once the Aspect of Earth was corrupted, there was no longer space being created and the mountains had passages gouged into them, enabling war. Sargeras corrupts Medivh, the Last Guardian of Tirisfal, through his mother prior to birth. His follower, Gul'dan creates the Dark Portal with Medivh's aid, enabling the first war. Orcs are a bit like the draenei. The green ones are the offspring of those that chose to drink the blood of Mannoroth. The red ones are those that have gone a little too far with the demon blood, and brown are untainted. I recognize that there's more information here than what could be fit in a 3 minute statement, but my intention is to make sure one sees where your incarnation deviates from the actual lore.
Most of this is very wrong - Titans did not create Planets - Titans only created Dragons and Mechanical Beings to Protect the Planet. All other beings came to existence due to the curse of flesh. If the Titans knew that they would wipe out all the new Races which they did not create - Only Elves Goblins Tauren and Dragons fought in the War of the Ancient - "The Legendary Nightelves return to Azeroth?" They never left Azeroth - Its Fordring not Fording - Its Bolvar not Bolovar In addition, the entire Titan Storyline was rewritten with the novel Chronicles. You should have looked that up. For anyone that cares: Some Planets in the Universe are basically Titan Eggs. After a while a new Titan will Hatch out of it. The Titans quest is to find those Planets and protect them from Old Gods, which try to corrupt the unborn Titan into a Dark Titan. A Dark Titan will then absorb all the matter in the Universe and destroy it with this. Old Gods are the servants of a new Faction called the Void Lords. The Void Lords exist outside our Universe and their goal is to destroy everything. Because they cant manifest in our Dimension they send old gods to planets with the hope to corrupt a Titan. Sargeras has knowledge of this and he thinks the only way to prevent this is to destroy every planet with a titan within so a Dark Titan can never hatch. Thats why he want to destroy Azeroth so bad because a mighty Titan sleeps in there.
It's not "facts", it's the Lore (with a big L). If you spread informations (real or fantasy) juste spread correct informations. Traditional media spread enough shit, don't make the same.
Vaperius Yup, and the Orcs weren't born from the demons... and the demons aren't male night elven demon hunters... A first-time viewer would be so confused by this.
xErikTheRedx This video isn't for you if you don't care about world of warcraft. This video was made for people who want to learn a bit about world of warcraft lore and it presents some lore that is wrong. Overall they did a good job, but there are some crucial things they got wrong.
he tried give him some credit i only play hearthstone and heros of the storm but i understood it.... a bit he haves only 3 min. ok we start whats missing: silvanas ragnarok the pandas (sorry i am not good in wow so text under this commend what you wanted to see)
Buddy, what he said is entirely wrong from first statement. Noone is talking about how much stuff he left out, but what he said is all wrong, only thing he got right are names. Btw, Sylvanas, Ragnaros, Pandaren. You should know how it's spelled properly if you play HS.
You left out the Old Gods, which were a huge part of Azeroth's founding, you got 90% of the stuff you DID mention wrong, and left out VERY important characters like Thrall, Khadgar, Even the Dragon Aspects. Especially Neltharion/Deathwing) :/
i dont think a teenager still living in their parent's house, who's life will amount to nothing and will be forgotten like a crumpled up piece of paper has any right to talk :) If you're not a fan of the game NOBODY CARES. Just like how no one cares about you :)
Also, the orcs existed before the fel taint which drove them through the portal to Azeroth (the planet). The Scourge roamed across both Azeroth and the Eastern Kingdoms, as well as Northrend. Arthas wasn't the original Lich King, but that can slide for time purposes. This was pretty funny, and for the most part, fell in line with the games, in any case. Trying to pick up a consistent lore from the RTS games and WoW is pretty much impossible since they retcon things all the time in WoW.
this whole thing is wrong basically from the start... the fak, the Titans only made the stone beings , ( stone dwarfs, metallic dwarfs and so on). trolls evolved naturally, the Titans didn't make azeroth and the twistibg nether dosent reside in azeroth, its the conflict zone of light And dark, azeroth is important to the Titans because it's a dormant titan
+Giovanni Costa if you want to get technical they were called the highborn and were the same race as night elves until the well of eternity blew the hell up and split those dependent on Magic and those who were not.
+Giovanni Costa the highborn were split between the highborn and the naga as the old gods saved queen ashjara(hard name to spell) and her followers from the ensuing chaos by makin em fish peepl. The remaining high born fed off of the sun well created by water from the well of eternity until arthas blowed it up, cause he's mean. Then the blood elves became the mana addicted scum we know today :). Until blood knights and a certain corrupted naru but I won't get into that. Is that technical enough for you? Cause we can go deeper into the matrix. There is no spoon.
That was an utterly ridiculous amount of factual errors and poor choices. Why mention doomhammer and fordragon and not arthas or thrall? You left out most of WoW, despite naming the video after it. I'm pretty sure most of that titan and sargeras stuff was wrong. I think for the *storyline* and not the lore, you maybe should have left out the origin story that isn't in the games and you got completely wrong?
It was wrong the Titans didn't make any planets and sargeras only mad the burning legion after he found the old gods (which weren't in the video as well) and realized he couldn't do anything against them.
Please, stay away from Warcraft lore from now on, this was terribly innacurate in so many ways i can't even list them all without crashing the comment section enterily (well, maybe not, but you get the idea).
Yeah this is err... incredibly inaccurate lol. I stopped watching when I heard 'The legendary Night Elves returned to Azeroth...' No, they didn't come to the Eastern Kingdoms, they fought the Legion at Hyjal. The video also seems to totally ignore the High Elves.
Nah, not at all. But nice try. More like: planets were there, but Titans for some reason I don't know thought: hey let's make our own shit! In Azeroth the so called "Old Gods" were the most powerfull species on the planet with their servants in service ( I personally only know the Faceless). Also independent races were around: most notably the Zandalari - ancient trolls who had the mightiest non-god empire. Titans kicked in, beat the crap out of Old Gods and their followers and banned them into prisons beneath the surface. Then Titans made some stuff I don't know about and left Vrykul, Mechagnomes and Earthlings or however that's called in English as their wardens, before they went on. Demons already where in the Nether and really wanted some energy, which is why they are evil. Sargeras was a Titan put on guard duty blablabla that part was correct. Trolls on Azeroth had evolved to subspecies, on of them being the Dark Trolls. Some of those however lived too close to the Well of Eternity, the magical centre of the planet and therefore mutated, becoming the first Night Elves. Night Elves build their own empire around the well, serving their empress Ashara. The nobility of Night Elves LOVED the Arcane magic of the well and did almost nothing without it, so yes they where nothing but junkies. Ya know who else loves Arcane magic? Demons! This is why they where attracted to Azeroth and invaded. Night Elves fought and beat them, but it was ... inconvenient. Dunno about the exact story, but priestess Tyrande Whisperwind and druid Malcurion Stormrage saved the day. Malcurions brother Illidan Stormrage was out killing demons, but started to view things their way and became powerhungry, nearly a demon at heart and almost screwing everyone. Malcurion later locked him up like the Titans the Old Gods. Ashara did some shit with the well, causing it to implode and threw the raw energy ripping the whole continent apart into smaller continents, sinking the centre of it, where most of the Night Elf nobility was and creating the Malstrom, which is a deadly waterwhirl like something in the centre of Azeroth, leading straight to the planet core. Old God Yorg Zarron had some power left and laid a curse on the guardian races: curse of flesh forcing by far the most of them to give birth to weak wannabees which where the first humans, gnomes and dwarves. Night Elves banned use of Arcane Magic, but ya can't forbit junkies to smoke shit, so the highborn left broke the rule and where hunted down Inquisition-like, causing them to flee over the ocean, where they found a land without Night Elves and a smaller version of the Well of Eternity, the Sun Well, which had different magic, which again mutated them to High Elves. High Elves and Humans united to beat down Amani, a forest troll tribe, which controlled most of the continent and founded their own kingdoms there. - Skipping some shit - Arcanes where about to summon Legion again, so Humans and Elves decided to controll it somehow and chose a human women named Aegwynn to be the Warden, a super powerfull wizard looking after all the others. Sargeras showed up again, Aegwynn fought and killed him, but not before he could plant his seed into her unborn baby without her noticing. Meanwhile on another planet called Draenor: some species live there, but mostly orcs. Some guys, calling themselves Draenei show up, being space - travelling outcasts of a species called Eredar, which have fallen under the controll of the Legion, became their masters as long as Sargeras was "busy" and their highest Lord Kil' Yaeden swearing to kill off all the non-demonized Eredar. Draenei fled across space and ended up on Draenor, where the orcs were like: "Meh, I don't care." But Kil' Yaeden found them and decided: "ya know what, I REALLY want to kill'em, but I don't like fighting my own battles that much, so let's call on that Great Shaman Ner'zul the orcs are listening to and convince him to not worship the spirits of nature anymore!" - which is what happened, spirits became mad and shamans didn't have power anymore getting all paniced until Gul'dan, Ner'zul's student stepped up and said: " hey there's another magic for you, try it out!" "infecting" them with demonic fel magic, which the demons, he made a deal with granted him. Later he said to the orc chieftains: "Guys! I got a super poison, making you super powerfull -> come and drink it!" Giving them the blood of the demon lord Mannoroth, filling them with bloodlust and enslaving the to the demon. Orcs go on a rampage, and destroy their own world, while killing most of the Draenei. Then they realised that they're about to die and wanted to lynch Gul'dan for it, but ... Meanwhile on Azeroth Aegwynn had laid down her position, passing it on to her son Medivh. Now Sargeras kicked in and took controll over Medivh, letting him together with Gul'dan open the Dark Portal. The orcs formed together with the ogres the horde, cause they saw it as the only chance to survive and invaded Azeroth. ... ya know what read the rest on the internet, I'm actually tired of writing.
They didn't miss three expansions, they didn't cover any of the WoW story. No mention of anything from Classic, nothing from BC, only the final cutscene of WotLK, no Cata, no Pandaria, no WoD.
Sans Funnybones Sargeras, one of the Titans that imprisoned the Old Gods of Insanity, was tasked with keeping watch over the prison. During his watch he was driven mad himself and became the leader of the Burning Legion, an army of demons and other beings of destruction, bent on destroying all of existence. He recruits Sargeras and Kil'jaeden, powerful Eredar Lords, turns them into demons and makes them his left and right hand. 10k years before WoW Sargeras tries to invade Azeroth by using the foolish Highborn Elves under Queen Azshara to summon him. And army made up of all mortal races and half gods force them back. The portal implodes, splitting the land and creating the Maelstrom. A few years before WoW Kil'jaeden discovers the remaining, non-demon Eredar living together with Orcs on Draenor. He tricks the orcs into submission to him, turning them against the Draenei and creating a portal to Azeroth, which they then invade. Kil'jaeden then takes Ner'zhul's soul and turns it into the Lich King for betraying him, placing him in Northrend on Azeroth. That is the story told wtith the important parts in mind and correct. Of course this is the Warcraft story, not the WoW story. The WoW story would be incredibly easy to summarize: read the expansion description and the description of the final raid. Shorten it. Done.
I don't understand, this is supposed to be the storyline of *World of Warcraft* but 80% of everything mentioned hasn't happened in the World of Warcraft game and 30% of those 80% hasn't even happened in the Warcraft games. And yet you only talk about the expansions up to Wrath? What happened to Cata, MoP and WoD? The lore of the Warcraft universe isn't the same as the storyline of World of Warcraft.
Well done! I've played for a few years and never got a good understanding of the different releases. And I liked the graphics - funny and subversive. Thank you
... So many holes... So many things missed... So many flaws... Where was the founding of the new horde? Where was the Kaldorei and archimonde dying at the world tree... And worst of all, why was there no setbacks from Tempest Keep?!?!?!
Some of it was wrong, but they at least tried. Also the movie and the games doesn't share or conflict with each others lore. As it has been stated that they are two complete different things and will remain that. So everything is comepletely like it was before the movie.
1. The Titans did NOT create planets, they simply brought order to them. 2. Orcs are NOT a product of the Legion, they aren't demons. 3. Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, etc. were not "born" as they are known now. Ah fuck it, there are so many mistakes in this video and my virginity is starting to show.
plot twist: Bolvar Fordragon instigated everything from the first betrayal onwards just too get his hands on that sweet sweet legendary helm. Yes, his obsession with that armor piece was so great he influenced events from before he was born to get it. God only knows what he'll do to get his chest piece.
i would say its the storyline of warcraft as whole not just the world of warcraft, but that might just be me seeing world of warcraft as 1 game in a long series
No, that is exactly what this is. It stops directly at the end of Warcraft 3, skips all of WoW, then covers the final WotLK cutscene and skips everything else, too.
If I had been given this task, I would have said "no." This was a brief skimming of certain events but fails to address things like the Old Gods, the fact that the Alliance of Lordaeron had the high elves instead of the night elves, and various other things. You fit in a lot for three minutes.
Two errors for the war of the ancients: dwarf didn't existed at the time, they where still earthen (like normal dwarfs but made of stone) and human didn't existed too: there were tauren in they're place.
Hey hey, it's private because it is "scheduled." It's been uploaded but hasn't been "released" yet on the channel. That means it will come out some time soon.
So now do one about the world of warcraft series ( now that youve done Warcraft), you could even do one about the sundering an event before the warcraft series, it was made into 3 books. Lots of famous heroes like Malfurion Stormrage and Illidan, and others lol
@vanilla it's true that the planet of Azeroth is a titan or rather holds a titan nascent soul(sort of like an embryo in an egg). All titans come from planets, but not all planets can have nascent titan souls and not all nascent titan souls are able to be born(kind of like a miscarriage). If Azeroth( the titan nascent soul) is able to be born from Azeroth( the planet), it will allegedly be the most powerful titan ever because why not :P ... also if the old gods are able to spread enough weird evil tentacle influence Azeroth( the nascent titan soul), if born, will be super evil on top of being the best at everything. The chronicles book that came out made this cannon.
+Mad Max you can have comical relief alongside accuracy. This is just blatant laziness, aside from the art, I could have done a far more accurate version in even less time than what they managed to crap out.
well pretty much obvious, making multiple accounts to dislike video, of guy who tried to wrap some lore in 3 mins ? Why would you even dislike his videos, you know, when you are giving dislikes you are giving him money :D
i though the Titans only discover Azeroth (not create it) and they're fought with old gods and their elementals champions to preserve balance and harmony on this World. At first of all, the Titans were planets like Azeroth but they were awaken. If i wrong, please correct me :)
Ummm... this is incorrect... the start of the universe was told in the chronicles and it doesn't follow the assumptions of the mortals that was previously told as the correct timeline but it was wrong.
I see what youre saying but i doubt they are big world of warcraft fans who know every inch of lore they just most likely doing this because the movie was about to come out
Cameron Hayden Ya but the book leads into the movie and is the sole arbiter of official cannon, kinda a big deal when ur trying to tell the actual story
That wasn't world of Warcraft, that was just Warcraft lore... Yes same world but... WoW was literally AFTER the three games, and you only did the three games :/
Kyle Posey Yea, Wrath of the Lich King was... Later, when the guy goes mad and returns (the man who was told to stay behind in Warcraft 3 becomes mad and setsup an entire convoluted scene to get killed...) So yea, it's just Warcraft lore, not World of Lorecraft.
so basicly rise of the lich king lore, and all the warcraft games lore, every other world of warcraft game lore wasnt in here, yet legion is almost out, god damn they missed alot
Accurate, because this is a south park kind of style, and I imagine this is how much research they'd do on their lore for an episode. However bad this video is Bolvar spazzing out at the end slays me
My friend is trying to get into WoW (for some reason) and was asking about the lore, but it is so complicated I wanted to find some quick easy way to sum it up without losing too much... this is not what I would show them; that said, it is the only thing I can really find.
I'll give you some corrections:

Okay nerd calm down with your "facts" .
Let's not forget that they showed the Night Elves among the Alliance during the 2nd war. That bugged the crap out of me.
It's not "facts", it's the Lore (with a big L).
If you spread informations (real or fantasy) juste spread correct informations. Traditional media spread enough shit, don't make the same.
Yes Titans created planets XD
No, titans didnt create planets, considering the mission of the pantheon is to find more titans, which come from the worldsouls, inside planets
Well that was the most inaccurate lore vid I've ever seen.
Yes
well what do you expect from a 3 min video :D
(and forget about the disclaimer at the beginning?)
'Content of Azeroth' wtf
+daniel waller dam auto correct
Christian Ramses The length indicates they can't fit everything in, it's no excuse for the stuff they did put in to be false.
Wow you guys messed a lot of stuff up...
Wrong elves for a start...
Vaperius Yup, and the Orcs weren't born from the demons... and the demons aren't male night elven demon hunters...
A first-time viewer would be so confused by this.
+Epyrian well for someone like me, who couldn't care less about anything world of Warcraft, this video is just fine.
xErikTheRedx This video isn't for you if you don't care about world of warcraft.
This video was made for people who want to learn a bit about world of warcraft lore and it presents some lore that is wrong. Overall they did a good job, but there are some crucial things they got wrong.
No they didnt do anything right, i dont think they were even playing warcraf
There is so much left unsaid or wrongly stated even for a 3 minutes video expectations . . . .
the video ended right when World of Warcrafts storyline starts. This sums up Warcraft 1,2, and 3 pretty well but not the titular game in the video.
Virgin
Ignoramus
No it doesn't because the Lich king is defeated half way through WoW
Yeah the orcs weren't created by the legion and Azeroth isn't a continent it's the planet
Literally 80% of this is WRONG.
he tried give him some credit i only play hearthstone and heros of the storm but i understood it.... a bit he haves only 3 min. ok we start whats missing:
silvanas
ragnarok
the pandas
(sorry i am not good in wow so text under this commend what you wanted to see)
petglo2000 I didn't say he missed bits, I said the bits he didn't miss were *wrong*.
Buddy, what he said is entirely wrong from first statement. Noone is talking about how much stuff he left out, but what he said is all wrong, only thing he got right are names. Btw, Sylvanas, Ragnaros, Pandaren. You should know how it's spelled properly if you play HS.
sylvanas is nothing for warcraft lore and ragnaros is only elemental boss they are not change history of warcraft its just episod like a greyman
Sylvanas is the new warchief of horde!! m pretty sure she means something to warcraft lore!!
Yea... Nice try but you failed on some issues. But it was worth the effort. Let Nobbel do the explaining.
Yup! Nobbel pls
hail nobbel
Praise lore master Nobbel
hellooo everyone
im dead tired of nobbel and his monotone
This is horribly wrong... not even if u said "this was made before the cronicles" would have even saved 70% of this.... it actually hurts
Merik Malhads Exept this was made after the Chronicles.
Matiaq The Heavy Main Then it makes it soooooo much worse
wtf everything in this shit is wrong
I'm not talking about the things that he missed. But the parts that he didnt miss in the video are wrong.
true.
Completely true theres so much wrong
And i forgot the actual game in the title, he was talking about "Warcraft" not "World Of Warcraft"
ehm...every video at this channel that explains stories of games are mostly wrong
for example the zelda video xD
night elves during first orc invasion. *facepalm*
Nice, Do warcraft next
He "did"
no he really didn't, he got a lot of it wrong
Vicarious Fan
That's why I used the " "
You left out the Old Gods, which were a huge part of Azeroth's founding, you got 90% of the stuff you DID mention wrong, and left out VERY important characters like Thrall, Khadgar, Even the Dragon Aspects. Especially Neltharion/Deathwing) :/
Three minutes, well, Neltharion's story only takes more than 3 minutes to summarize XD
Akredi But it doesn tchange the fact that literally 90% of what he DID mention was incorrect.
they would have to leave out stuff if they went by chronicles lore, because they would have to talk about the void and then the dark empire
+Dylan Phoenix (DarkPhoenix) well since chronicles, only about 25% was wrong not 90 don't get dramatic
Bradley Shaw Im not exaggerating lol. Much higher than 25%
why does this video have not have more dislikes? THIS IS THE MOST INACCURATE LORE VIDEO EVER. 3 MINUTES ONLY OR OTHERWISE
Shame on you
Uhh im pretty sure its a joke....lol
huh? in what context is this a joke? and if you're gonna say "nah its some kind of parody video" they dont do parody videos in this channel
noone cares except fat 40 year olds living in their moms basement that's why, and those people are irrelevant
i dont think a teenager still living in their parent's house, who's life will amount to nothing and will be forgotten like a crumpled up piece of paper has any right to talk :)
If you're not a fan of the game NOBODY CARES. Just like how no one cares about you :)
+VanillaCreamTV your name is vanilla cream. No comment.
Lol you guys missed like three fucking expansions :0
You're face is missing three expansions :0
Missed quite lot more than just 3 expansions
well considering they only had 3 minutes i thought thos was good
They said it will be impossible for them to fit hours of gameplay into 3 mins and this was good for 3 mins
no all this happened befor WOW this is all from Warcraft the RTS games not from wow
I think along the way you forgot about catacalysm, MOP and WOD :P
This is NOT the entire story of World of Warcraft, more like the story of Warcraft 1-3.
Wowmusicable and they got it wrong too
Wowmusicable Warcraft Music
Wowmusicable Warcraft Music Can you make a better video than this?
The titans did't create azeroth
the titans didn't make the planets they just tried to find titans
+bmanbbot plaints?
They didn't make the planets. They did create the life on them and mold the mountains and land, but not the planets themselves.
You're icon looks like a politician. I think politicians should teach Americans more about Warcraft.
Also, the orcs existed before the fel taint which drove them through the portal to Azeroth (the planet). The Scourge roamed across both Azeroth and the Eastern Kingdoms, as well as Northrend. this whole thing is wrong basically from the start... the fak, the Titans only made the stone beings , ( stone dwarfs, metallic dwarfs and so on). trolls evolved naturally, the Titans didn't make azeroth and the twistibg nether dosent reside in azeroth, its the conflict zone of light And dark, azeroth is important to the Titans because it's a dormant titan
Nice try but wrong so many times.
you missed all of cataclysm, pandaria, and warlords... good job!
and bc
He was not prepared
And they also fucked up most of what they did get! yayyy!
Three minutes...
And vanilla and bc
Yeah you tried, but failed. This is reaaaaly innacurate.
The elves didn't join the Alliance until after the second invasion of the burning legion.
The NIGHT ELVES, the Sun Elves were always part of the Alliance
Dameol If you want to get technical then, they're called the "High Elves"
+Giovanni Costa if you want to get technical they were called the highborn and were the same race as night elves until the well of eternity blew the hell up and split those dependent on Magic and those who were not.
Squishy Bunny/Valnoor can we get more technical than that? :P
Do Warhammer40k's Horus Heresy next. I double dare you to condense it all into 3 minutes
impossibru!
Not with the powers of the warp its not!
Powers of the warp? that sounds like heresy talk.
Thor Klauson
Not with the radical inquisition branches it doesn't!
+Xirius The Soulwatcher I'm just going to send a screenshot over to the Ordo Hereticus, and we'll let them decide how this plays out
you're wrong about the creation and the titans (pantheon)
That was an utterly ridiculous amount of factual errors and poor choices.
Why mention doomhammer and fordragon and not arthas or thrall?
You left out most of WoW, despite naming the video after it.
I'm pretty sure most of that titan and sargeras stuff was wrong.
I think for the *storyline* and not the lore, you maybe should have left out the origin story that isn't in the games and you got completely wrong?
It was wrong the Titans didn't make any planets and sargeras only mad the burning legion after he found the old gods (which weren't in the video as well) and realized he couldn't do anything against them.
yah and the titans job is to find more titans with in the planets, and the life forms were created due to old gods curs
+MeEeDo he's the narrator leave him alone
I don't think anyone here is criticising the narrator, it's the writer people are not enthused with.
dont forget that the trolls were one of the first beings in azeroth
human ,gnomes and dwars are all titan creation
It's amazing that you guys tried to do this. Kudos!
Do 6 min specials? Maybe redo this?
Please, stay away from Warcraft lore from now on, this was terribly innacurate in so many ways i can't even list them all without crashing the comment section enterily (well, maybe not, but you get the idea).
The most accurate part of this was the Sargeras/Sarjeras bit.
That is the whole story maybe till WOTLK, and you missed a lot along the way.
this would be better if it were longer and had actually accurate information.
Yeah this is err... incredibly inaccurate lol.
I stopped watching when I heard 'The legendary Night Elves returned to Azeroth...'
No, they didn't come to the Eastern Kingdoms, they fought the Legion at Hyjal.
I want you to write more.
"The Lich King continues his dominion over the continent of Azeroth"
That one struck deep.
You missed 3 expansions, I know they were crappy but still they had some major lore moments......
they did 3 minutes worth deal with it
And you missed the beginning of the video
They didn't miss three expansions, they didn't cover any of the WoW story.
No mention of anything from Classic, nothing from BC, only the final cutscene of WotLK, no Cata, no Pandaria, no WoD.
***** I want YOU to try telling the entire wow story under 3 minutes to see how "easy" that is
Sans Funnybones Sargeras, one of the Titans that imprisoned the Old Gods of Insanity, was tasked with keeping watch over the prison.
Shorten it. Done.
0:35 elves descend from trolls
Did you just ignore the beginning?
@0:56 what song or part of the sound track is it!!! please need answer my mind is going crazy!
so wait why are the night elves fighting the orcs in the first war? they where not discovered till later in time...
Some of it was wrong, but they at least tried. Also the movie and the games doesn't share or conflict with each others lore. As it has been stated that they are two complete different things and will remain that. So everything is comepletely like it was before the movie.
The overwhelming majority of this lore summary was simply incorrect. And I'm fairly certain they don't really know what "Azeroth" is.
Jepp, could simply say this is just to get views as the Warcraft movie train was still warm when this was released.
Good job can't wait to see the PART 2 to this...... PLEASE
2:35 the mortal races won the third war, but with the cost of the destruction of Nordrassil and a massive casualties.
You made this video after Chronicle and you _still_ got even the first 10 seconds wrong. Bravo.
" the human strikes back and eventualy gain control of the battle field" thiiiiiis phrase make me feel powerful and proud
sad how ppl forget most of that story is actually warcraft (rts) not WoW (rpg)
plot twist: Bolvar Fordragon instigated everything from the first betrayal onwards just too get his hands on that sweet sweet legendary helm. Yes, his obsession with that armor piece was so great he influenced events from before he was born to get it. God only knows what he'll do to get his chest piece.
Not the most accurate, but you only have three minutes.
The book being read by the Lich King though.
i would say its the storyline of warcraft as whole not just the world of warcraft, but that might just be me seeing world of warcraft as 1 game in a long series
No, that is exactly what this is. It stops directly at the end of Warcraft 3, skips all of WoW, then covers the final WotLK cutscene and skips everything else, too.
no you are correct, except the hole lich king thing, they pretty much only told warcraft lorenot world of warcraft
30 seconds in and they ALREADY have a few stuff wrong. Not going to bother with the rest of the video if they can't get the basics right.
If I had been given this task, I would have said "no." This was a brief skimming of certain events but fails to address things like the Old Gods, the fact that the Alliance of Lordaeron had the high elves instead of the night elves, and various other things. You fit in a lot for three minutes.
What the f*** is this? Is it a joke? No one can mess up the lore so bad even on purpose, jesus
fam its in THREE MINUTES, i think they did alright
ishidon20 No, they did a shit job and their facts were wrong. Titans didn't create Azeroth for example, this fucks up everything
noone cares, it's probably better than the actual lore
i care and the real lore is alot better
VanillaCreamTV Only if you are as dumb as you
You guys gotta remember this is supposed to be 3 minutes, he had to leave out a lot because there wasnt enough time
So....very....wrong..... literally almost all of this is wrong.
Two errors for the war of the ancients: dwarf didn't existed at the time, they where still earthen (like normal dwarfs but made of stone) and human didn't existed too: there were tauren in they're place.
I love these do gears of war next please
Pls do it
That would be great
he already did gears of war just gotta go far into his video history
+Conor Pack they did metal gear solid. COMPLETELY different.
I love the way they fight lol
You finished 3 expansions back and made a good number of mistakes, but this was really cool to watch.
maybe you hsould know the lore yourself next time instead of making it up
that awesome moment when all your other videos that you listed after this one are private.
went to click the kirby video shown at the end but apparently it's private, why have it as an option if it's clearly not?
All of the video's at the end are private.
Why..?
Hey hey, it's private because it is "scheduled." It's been uploaded but hasn't been "released" yet on the channel. That means it will come out some time soon.
Because... rainbow.
So now do one about the world of warcraft series ( now that youve done Warcraft), you could even do one about the sundering an event before the warcraft series, it was made into 3 books. Lots of famous heroes like Malfurion Stormrage and Illidan, and others lol
you killed the lore man :(
and azroth its self is a titan read the last book you will enjoy reading it
no
@vanilla
it's true that the planet of Azeroth is a titan or rather holds a titan nascent soul(sort of like an embryo in an egg).
All titans come from planets, but not all planets can have nascent titan souls and not all nascent titan souls are able to be born(kind of like a miscarriage).
If Azeroth( the titan nascent soul) is able to be born from Azeroth( the planet), it will allegedly be the most powerful titan ever because why not :P
... also if the old gods are able to spread enough weird evil tentacle influence Azeroth( the nascent titan soul), if born, will be super evil on top of being the best at everything.
The chronicles book that came out made this cannon.
video was good left out a lot of important stuff but it was really good for only 3 minutes
XD only went to wrath of the lich king
"At the beginning of TIME!!!"
I love that line.
What is this? All of this is complete bullshit, would think ppl research before they make lore vids of big games. But obviously not. Down voted ;p
This is quite obviously made for comical reasons, hence the art design. You want Warcraft lore, go watch Nobbel87 vids. This clearly isn't for you.
+Mad Max you can have comical relief alongside accuracy. This is just blatant laziness, aside from the art, I could have done a far more accurate version in even less time than what they managed to crap out.
+Joshua Blachier ITS COMEDY! IDIOT
+Joshua Blachier They even said its impossible to do this in 3 minutes but they try. For the lolz
Lapát Jani Again, it's about accuracy. Not lack of material. They outright fucked up the facts, what part of this is too hard to understand?
I love the part where he says the Lich King continues his dominion over the continent of Azeroth, lol.
there is only one World of Warcraft game. however there are multiple Warcraft games
You missed the most important part: TEMPEST KEEP WAS MERELY A SETBACK!
Way to not touch on Archimonde at all. Not like he did anything, amirite?
they only had three minutes they literally said they tried
Cameron Hayden Aye, tried. Tried, and _failed_. ;(
+Julsmul if you think you can do that shit in three minutes go ahead but if you cant do a better job dont complain
I play WoW and I admire that you tried to do this. There's a couple things you had wrong buuut it was hilarious nonetheless :P
The very fucking first topic was wrong. Holy fuck. I've actually never fucking wanted to make multiple accounts and dislike this video.
how about you go outside and get some sun instead, you fucking shut in.
savage
***** yes you know all about me.
well pretty much obvious, making multiple accounts to dislike video, of guy who tried to wrap some lore in 3 mins ? Why would you even dislike his videos, you know, when you are giving dislikes you are giving him money :D
Are you doing borderlands or is it already done?
done
+Damiox :3 I couldn't find it anywhere
:3
It is done. If you have a time machine. Do you have a time machine Master Chief?
3:
+Double D Sadly,no.
Dark Souls in 3 minutes? Can you do it? :P
dunno if troll.. or wtf. this was wrong on so many levels. tell your writers to read up on the lore once in a while not make up random stuff
My grandma who never even saw anything Warcraft related could give a better lore explanation by describing Lord of the star wars Trek edition
do the entire storyline of dead space
ign did one
so yea I want to say this needs a special of like 1 full hour, at least but twas awesome
that was reaaaaly superficial... and some things were simply wrong
that awkward moment when you begin the lore vid before the retcon but don't release it until after
do the Morden warfare next plz
....
Yessss
morden freefare
i though the Titans only discover Azeroth (not create it) and they're fought with old gods and their elementals champions to preserve balance and harmony on this World. At first of all, the Titans were planets like Azeroth but they were awaken. If i wrong, please correct me :)
You just spat nonsense. This video is not accurate at all.
You missed the later expansions like deathwing, garrosh's new horde, and even draenor's iron horde and allying with us.
Ummm... this is incorrect... the start of the universe was told in the chronicles and it doesn't follow the assumptions of the mortals that was previously told as the correct timeline but it was wrong.
you do this shit in three minutes then. i swear its like you guys have selective memory did you not see the beginning
Cameron Hayden I am aware that they don't say everything but their story of the titans is flat out wrong
I love how he shows the Illidari for Sargeras' army. XD
That wasn't world of Warcraft, that was just Warcraft lore... Yes same world but... WoW was literally AFTER the three games, and you only did the three games :/
well it is the world that Warcraft takes place in so it doesn't really matter, and it crosses from Warcraft 1 to WoW WOTLK
Actually it doesnt, warcraft 3 already contains the story about the LichKing. So this video is Warcraft 1-3
Yes. it was a good video, but the title is wrong
Kyle Posey Yea, Wrath of the Lich King was... Later, when the guy goes mad and returns (the man who was told to stay behind in Warcraft 3 becomes mad and setsup an entire convoluted scene to get killed...) So yea, it's just Warcraft lore, not World of Lorecraft.
i mean at this point the lich king wasnt even arthas.
Nerhzul was not sent on azaroth as a agent, it was his punishment for achiving personal gain out of legions campain
This video has so many faults in it's telling of the lore I got aids...
I mean, you got all of the Warcraft games, but you missed out most of WoW Classic, Burning Crusade, and everything post Cataclysm.
***** That's certainly true, I was pointing out what he missed rather than what he got wrong.
so basicly rise of the lich king lore, and all the warcraft games lore, every other world of warcraft game lore wasnt in here, yet legion is almost out, god damn they missed alot
Can you do it in THREE minutes?
+Humza Bokhari no, i just said that they failed bigtime.
NO but even the Shit they said was Half ass and Wrong
(if your going to do it in 3 min at least get that part Right True?)
Well listen up the first 15 seconds and there you go.
Accurate, because this is a south park kind of style, and I imagine this is how much research they'd do on their lore for an episode.
However bad this video is Bolvar spazzing out at the end slays me
This is completely wrong. Good, uhh.. attempt. I think.
My friend is trying to get into WoW (for some reason) and was asking about the lore, but it is so complicated I wanted to find some quick easy way to sum it up without losing too much... this is not what I would show them; that said, it is the only thing I can really find.
Forest Armstrong show them nobbel87 a lot of this stuff is wrong and Nobbel knows pretty much everything
STOP FREAKING LIKING THIS. This is so wrong. I barely play World of Warcraft, but I totally know this shit is wrong as fuck.
I can imagine Nobbel watching this and just facepalming til the end of it
so, was this supposed to be a parody?
so we just skipping the War in Outland, the Nexus War, the Gilneas Civil War, the Pandaren Campaign, and several other key events and conflicts? 'KAY.
lol half of this stuff is wrong
