HI G,A.. I went down this morning just a bit late, the tide was 1. hr , on the run down the water was still a bit brown it might need a another couple of weeks to clear up, one bite only not sure what it was i will try then and keep an eye on the water. Cheers Chris
That's a shame a few high tides coming up over the Easter break 8am through to 1130am should be good time although thr wind might make it hard. try and get the wind behind you
Hi mate you can get them pretty much everywhere . The best spots are between woodpoint jetty and the bridge off the rocks. Has to be high tide. Time of day doesn't matter they will bite middle of the day. I will be posting a vedio in a week's time just with the rigs, baits, burley and technic I use to catch them. So if your subscribed you should get a notification when that comes out.
You won't get the snub-nosed gar down that far south but you will definitely be able to get Sea garfish. When I was living In Newcastle area used to get heaps in Lake Macquarie.
@@walker2508 Thank you for your respo se. Any particular spot on the lake mate that you wouldnt mind sharing? Do the like it near the entrance or calmer walter towards lake heights for example.
Hi mate . I haven't made a vid on that maybe I should. I did make one on the rig that I use for garfish and I talk briefly about my dough recipe. Not much to it flour, water and pilchard or tuna oil
hey I live near there where did you fish?

Whats everyone's favourite bait to use for garfish? I've been doing real well on dough but happy to experiment with other baits.
Where's this I've always wanted to try for them

They are a great little fish to catch. The kids love catching them. Great video, thanks.
Tiny piece of prawn or bread
Nice one both work real well. I've tried tiny bits of squid the other day and hardly got a touch switched to dough and was a bite a cast
I wonder if I can get these where I live in Wollongong NSW

@@ScaleUpadventures Thanks mate. I might just look into it.
