This isn't Rutan playing live, is it? I saw both MORBID ANGEL and HATE ETERNAL live in 1999, I believe it was… at the latest, I saw HATE ETERNAL in 2000. Rutan didn't play with MORBID ANGEL, it was another live guitarist who was really excellent.
@@SelfRighteousNewAgeLightWorkerit is Erik Rutan. But the album this song is from just features Trey/Pete/Steve and in his opinion it's the best lineup.
Some men pray for money Some men pray out of greed Some men pray to false gods THIS IS THE PRAYER OF HATRED! Or at least that's what I figured out as the intro... Anyways, Steven's thunderous voice anticipates the hell he's about to deliver!
Dude I wish I was at that one. They all sound damn perfect and loud in their parts, Pete's drums sound insane during the guitar solo which doesn't miss a single ambient tone either...freaky music in it's entirety done so beautifully and just nailed it live. Supernatural as fuck!
FFttF is easily the best Tucker era album...and one of the best MA records in general...sad that they keep the bass guitar so low when they play live though.. cuz u can actually hear the bass on the album and it really adds to the sound.
man Trey played this song right in my face at a show in Nashville. The stage was only like a foot off the ground there...so it was a close-up show. 1998. on this tour. quite a treat since he's one of all time favorite.
Heretic is an amazing album. Morbid Angel's talent, creativity, mastering of their instruments and overall ability has continually increased each new album. Yes, Illud was a bit out there, although all the "real" songs on it were awesome.I love every album but do have some issues with Illud. Formulas, Gateways and Heretic put them on another level! Altars,Blessed,Covenant and Domination all freakin bad ass but like most musicians they began to master their craft. Eventually reaching higher and higher musically. MA is in my top 3 favorite bands of all time! Trey is a guitar God!
FUCKING AWEESSOOMME !!!! Especially Trey's SOLOS !!! My God, he's one of the best guitarist I have heard in my life.... And I don't listen just to Death Metal.... Long Live MA !!!!
I can't wait for Trey to name the next drummer and back up guitar. I know Trey & Tucker will kill it on the new album. Eventually, they will be on tour. When i hear Prayer of Hatred live i will be so happy.. Long live MA. Hail Satan
Vlad Dracula you are the fuckin best ever! Hail Death metal, black metal, all real metal . Fuckin Hail Lucifer the fallen Angel, God's most musically talented angel.
That second solo is straight from the void. It has to be one of the most mind numbing solos ever played. It takes you to places you didnt know existed.
I enjoy both Tucker and Vincent. I don't see "the best" one between the two. Both were/are amazingly proficient in their own ways. Tucker bears beefier voice, though Vincent's voice sounds just as aggressive and rasp. So, there's a tie between 'em
A real fan of morbid angel can respect the heretic album, but not love it more than altars of madness or blessed are the sick, and the best album with steve tucker is gateways to annihilation, what a noob comment haha.
The best Line up of morbid angel!
tucker,rutan,sandoval,azaghtoth

Gateways is my fav as a whole but this album opened the experimentalness of morbid away from david.

I like Heretic for "Curse the flesh" alone!

Anyone know the lineup for this concert?
+JParks1981
Steve Tucker - Vocals
Trey Azaghtoth - Guitars
Erik Rutan - Guitars
Pete Sandoval - Drums
+Dark P. thanks dude, that's exactly what I was wondering, whether or not that was Erik Rhutan still touring with Morbid Angel
The best formation ever !!
+1000000
pete es la mera verga en salsa hahahahah ...lastima que nunca visite su pais ...sus razones ha de tener...pero esa bateria es bestial
Who's the 2nd guitarist here? If the date is correct, this was about a year before Rutan rejoined the band.
Its Rutan, Rutan did Formulas with Morbid Angel.
@@morbidxoneq2013I know im late but Rutan never touched Formulas, he joined the band later after it was released
люблю когда на концерте команды играют точь в точь соляки как на студийной записи... а когда меняют играют по другому, бесит
