huh, i bought the parts to rebuild the clutchpacks, but then i thouhgt i should go welded and be done with it. I was annoyed that i wasted money. but now, i can just rebuild it. Send it for a couple events and then pull it back out for the 4.1 and get it welded at the same time.
another awesome video man, Ive got some more questions im hoping you or your buds could answer. firstly i just wanted to thank you for putting out that info on the Taurus calipers and hawk pads. That combo works so well its crazy. secondly im drifting my 98 cobra with stock engine and power internals, ive only upgraded suspension and chassis so far. i swapped a 01 rear end to get a wider and marginally better rear gear ratio (3.27 instead of the 98s 3.08), but im at the point where on my small local track 2nd just isn't enough to keep my wheels spinning. what would you recommend for a rear gear ratio?? should i go 4.10??? is it even worth changing the rear gear ratio?? I do have plans to boost the engine in the near future but im not sure how much HP the stock 4v can take with all stock internals.
Before you do a supercharger, I'd recommend figuring out what your wheel speed is. What RPM are you at in second when it's out of steam? What size tire are you running? What tire? You have any videos of your car drifting? Post the link!
Headed over to Skidiots now!
Man I have a welded diff with drag radials and I hate life when turning. One side I already have a leak and bearing sounds like it's going out
Hell yeah!

Hopefully you bought the carbon clutches. They'll last a while. If you bought the standard, I'd weld it.
