Don't forget the Super Buzz Droid and Chameleon Droid were my childhood favorites. Other three favorites I didn't know about around my time were the Concolid ball fighters, IG-110s, Sabotage droids and the recent Megadroids.
I gotta say my favorite is a little biased... that Infultrator for sure purely because its A) looks cool and menacing and B) someone made it out of LEGO and you showed the LEGO version and now i have an insatiable urge to root through my LEGOs and see if i can make one for myself!
19:57 Hears one you didn't mention. I came across it recently on Wookipedia. Legends. Ultra Droideka. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Didj)". An educational learning video game developed by LeapFrog Enterprises. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are attempting to destroy the factory responsible for making the Ultra Droidekas. An an larger variant of a droideka battle droid with considerably more powerful weapons, but required a tremendous amount of energy to sustain shields..
I’m not sure if they count as they were used by other factions, but there were the Fastlatch droids which were small four legged droids equipped with a blaster and poison “fangs”. Obj-Wan and Qui Gon Jinn encountered some and stated they were illegal in many systems. Another curious battle droid“variant” was the S-43 Enforcer Droid. They weren’t actually designed or made by the CIS, but were actually based on stolen plans from Baktoids B-1 line and were equipped with better processors and vibro blades. They were introduced in the “Rise of the Separatists” RPG book. The last but undoubtedly my most favorite droids, are the two canonical successors to the Droideka line. The Sentinel and Oppressor droids were developed and manufactured by Colicoid Creations Nest, but introduced too late in the war to see wide spread use. Not to be confused with the Droideka Mark II, the Sentinel was equipped with better armor, and even had an upgraded version with triple barrel repeating blasters. The Oppressor Droideka was much different. It had four legs instead of three, and carried two plasma cannons making it ideal for artillery strikes. What I wouldn’t give to see these guys on TV, or at least a miniature.
About the synthetic cristals being red thing. As far as i know it was once statet that early synthetic cristals would always be red. Later they could be every colour but bc of tradition the bad guys continued to use red
0:39 Dude, the first time I watched that movie was in 3rd grade with the worst fever I'm pretty sure I've ever caught just dissociated as fuck. Remembering it now brought back some pleasant but strange old memories.
Inspired by the Iron Knights from Legends, I introduced my SW5E party to some force wielding Magnaguards, the faction they for basically enslaving a force sensitive, sentient crystals called Shards. My party lost their collective minds.
Refresh Droids.. maybe we havent seen them because we oh so rarely see Hellfire Droids survive... and when we do we are "following" the tactically retreating Jedi/Resistance/Rebels
The curious thing is that unless asked otherwise (as they often were during the clone wars) the Coilcoids creation were by default self-aware especially droidekas. Now, i know ypu think of the book of Boba Fett and think the Annihilators had the accuracy of B1s but think about it, they were under the control of the Pike syndicate, according to lore, rivals of the Coilicoids. I suspect the reasons those Annihilators were so bad was because they had been lobotomized by the Pike syndicate to render them more obedient at the expense of their deadliness.
@@Hello-bi1pm It is one of those read-between-the-lines things you read in the lore. If you read the history of the Colicoids, they actually seize control of the spice mines of Kessel but when you watch the Han Solo movie who has controp over those mines? The Pyke Syndicate under the observation or the Empire. Now, while it is possible the Pyke syndicate could have purhased the Annihilators from the Coilicoids, i theorize it is more likely that the Colicoids had a couple of Annihilators guarding Kessel and when the droid shut-down command hit them, the Pykes moved in and seized the mines and the droids.
Every single "advanced prototype" droid that the GR prevented from going into production looks like such complete ass I can only assume they were never meant to go into production but rather to spread GR resources and manpower thing and to give the illusion of an ever growling threat.
Synthetic crystals were the only crystals that could be red in the original canon, you could find none red synthetic crystals but you could not find red natural crystals, the Sith believed that red crystals where stronger than all other colors and could “break” Jedi blades under the right circumstances, Jedi maintained that the circumstances that allowed these incidents to happen where not because of the crystals but simply because of defective saber construction.
@@Hello-bi1pm It was, probably one of the reasons why Star Wars and Star Trek fans used to be so loyal to the franchises before they started contradicting and replacing the original explanations with sub par ones, along with the general sub par writing.
I know what you mean, this whole “bleeding crystal” nonsense is the dumbest thing about Disney lightsaber lore and it has to compete with lightsaber whips that don’t have multiple crystals in a core whip configuration and lightsaber powered super blasters, so that’s saying something.
@drewjohnson-85 I love how legends fans call disney canon stupid like legends isn't full of the most ridiculous crap out there. Also starwars is science fantasy, bleeding the crystals makes way more sense than synthetic ones and it added needed lore to the sith. You're a dipshit
Just wait, soon we'll have a 24 hour long video of Separatist droids, vehicles, and warships. That way we'll a full day for all things CIS military.
Long live the CIS
Problem is, that UA-cam only allows for a maximum video length of 12 hours.
@@fes7384 Okay...
Two videos.
Good idea
I am waiting for that ultimate 10 hour long vehicles and droids video

The v2 commando droids is my favorite because it's just a Commando droid head on a B-2 body is funny and awesome
The CIS had a lot of troop variety, one of the main reasons they're my favorite faction.
This is the goldmine. The obscurest of the obscure. Well done.
Meta gives the CIS the respect they deserve 🙏
We need a video of more obscure droid like the workbench Droid and welder droid ECT
Hope you have a good day dude, your vids are great

HK -77 (for whatever the knockoff was called) is on that "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" kind of AI intelligence...

we had seen 10 of these Droids before this video and the others are freaking awesome ig-110 was our favorite of the group
Honestly the infiltration droids the separatists used in Genndys clone wars were too op. Wish they could have gotten canonized.
To know all of this graces you to super nerd status. A meta nerd if you will. Love your videos. One of my favorite star wars UA-camr 💗
interesting video keep up the good work

Droids!!
Any new complete life’s of characters who aren’t so intertwined?
Intertwined?
Ah yes, complete obscure lore dump. Perfect.
Can you do a video on the spirit of fire from halo wars 1 & 2
Starlight Beacon, please.

sounds lame, like making your party fight an albino red dragon
Sounds like something Palpatine would cook up for later.
Could you look at Fallout Securitron’s

I remember that lightsaber droid from the clone wars lightsaber game on the wii, no clue what he came from though
Right off the bat, a jedi insult.

Imagine commando droids that were smarter stronger and had cloaking tech

Is there a way i can buy all of them for my toy collection 😎💀

Original Legends Canon synthetic crystals will always be better lore. New crystal lore is so stupid and a completely unnecessary change. Oh well
