hiesenberg I already played them all tho. From 1-4, when it’s was first released back then. And yes I also played the reboot. Didn’t like it’s much, I refer the classic Dante and Vergil, personality wise. They where far more better, and had much more character growth, and far more likeable, then the reboot one. I only said it’s as a suggestion to clavin cicilia. The only good thing the reboot didn’t screw up was Vergil’s image/look, but they totally ruin his personality. But I refer the classic Vergil, tho. But they totally ruin Dante image, from looks and personality wise. This reboot Dante remind me of high school bully and punk who know no better than to pick fight, or start a fight, and doesn’t think for themselves. Or think of others. If they wanted to make a new Dante that would make all the DMC fans, new and old one. They should of just make a Dante that everyone can related too, boys and girls, not too over cocky, doesn’t cuss much, and had a moral and space to grow. Or better picked a normal teenager. One that still trying to figure out his own growth and maturity. Say, for like example from the book of Magnus Chase or Percy Jackson. Those character might be cocky but doesn’t go over the top, and doesn’t cuss and they where a bit of a dork and sassy like what the classic Dante where, and yet they where in their teens. Went the same with losing a love one, and yet they didn’t turn out bad like what reboot Dante had. Or like Harry Potter, went to lot of hardship, lose both parents and godparents and yet he didn’t turn out bad like what reboot Dante did. I’m a woman, and I can tell, reboot Dante personality doesn’t appeal me. Either did the reboot Vergil.
I love that DmC is non-canon and classed as separate to the main Devil May Cry series. Its like what Star Trek 09 Kelvin timeline, and Discovery are to REAL "Star Trek".
I’ve honestly never played a devil may cry game but watching this has made me wish that I had come in contact with it at some point... definitely getting 5 after this and going to start replaying or at least watching the old ones

@@guysimpai creators themselves changed their plans , its pretty much better to remove dmc 2 from the story due to number of plot holes it produces but in the end they decided to let it be
@@cranchianflame1007 I agree.
This was the first summary that I thought I deserved to watch after years of enjoying dmc but only completeing 3, thanks for this, looks like its all the real story :)
I had the whole devil may cry series in my other laptop that I have recently bought, and damn the story is fascinating and filled with shits, Gonna play this game later!
Luv the cut from Dante answering the phone at the end.
Thx cause i have no clue about the story line i only know dante and since dmc5 came out im watching walktrough with no knowledge of the frenchise
@NorCal DBedits I love them 😍
You can still watch all of DMC3 and 4 cutscenes so that you can understand the whole story before going or jumping through DMC5. Here in UA-cam tho.
@@Korchan0426 you really have to play them though
hiesenberg I already played them all tho.
0:23 i finally found i youtuber that knows THIS
I remembered playing devil may cry in ps2👹😈 TEAM VIRGIL 😈😈
ive played this series since ps2 and must say I am very thankful for this refresher as I wait for Devil May Cry 5 to download
Great Game
Great commenr
This was an amazing recap. I haven’t played the DMC series since PS2 so this is super helpful for me before firing up DMC5
I love that DmC is non-canon and classed as separate to the main Devil May Cry series. Its like what Star Trek 09 Kelvin timeline, and Discovery are to REAL "Star Trek".
15:11
Yo he summoned his fucking stand that's sick bro
I approve.
After watching all of the games, i needed my facts straight. Thanks
15:11 I am thou, thou art I

Hey bros stay awesome and please support my channel
Thanks for the heart man
I’ve honestly never played a devil may cry game but watching this has made me wish that I had come in contact with it at some point... definitely getting 5 after this and going to start replaying or at least watching the old ones
Nightwing you can still play the DMC4 on PS4 or Xbox tho. Or download the game via computer/laptop, and play it their. I don’t if DmC 1-3 are still available to be play in computer. It’s used to. So idk about it.
You're so consistent and thorough, almost like a pro even if this is scripted you preped and executed this very well! Have a sub my dude I can't wait for dmc 5 next week!
Hey thanks bud
Thanks for this!!! I originally played dmc4 a couple years after it released and I ended up getting the HD collection on ps3, I played dmc1 but never ended up getting to the others (although I do know a fair bit of the more important parts in dmc3 such as lady being a descendent of the priestess, temen ni-gru, etc. ) so it's nice to get a solid summary of the whole thing in time for dmc 5.
Outstanding job big homie. I will be subscribing. Keep up the good work.
Thanks buddy!
So much detail! Thanks very much, I really enjoyed listening to this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
"called 'Ebony' and 'Ivory'"
So gun versions of Kanshou and Bakuya?
actually since DMC came first archer is technically ripping off Dante.
Man, they sure do love their gigantic swords.
Thanks for the vid
Very well done video. I'm a huge DMC fan since game 1 when I was at my grandma's house. I like to think that I know a thing or two about the lore. You're video and what you talk about are pretty spot on. Keep it up
i remember the twins fought about a chocolate cake
This was an amazing breakdown, really well done. I'm all caught up for Friday!
the time has come and so has this video
Hope you guys get bigger in UA-cam, Awesome channel and awesome people
Well dang thanks man
I finished all of the games and watched the series, but the series is 18 years old and the games were released out of order, so it's pretty impossible to follow.
Thanks for the great breakdown!
It's one of the earliest series to follow conpared to Resident Evil or Metal Gear Solid.
my biggest problem with DMC4 (start at 13:23) is that if only Nero didn't bothered Dante into killing the Order everything would have ended there and there. but nope, capcom decided that we needed 20 more missions to finish just to get to the same point.
Finally i understood the hold plot.. i was confuse for a while due to not playing 1/2.. but only 3 and watch the anime.
So happy they listened to the fans and made this game cant wait to play it. One of the few games ill pay for
Never knew there was a anime wtff ima watch it now
DMC 3 was such a good game. It was the coolest and most challenging game I had played by then.
It was my only one though, so a this is great. I played 4 for a bit but didnt stick.
sooooo hyped for DmC devil may cry :D best game ever.
And now to calm all the keyboard wariors, i can't wait for 5 coming out, just 3 days !!
Nice breakdown I can't wait for DMC5!
Dmc3 is still the best imo
It’s been years since I have played the Devil May Cry series, couldn’t remember it all but thanks to you I am ready for DMC5 😊
Good job
This makes me go and give DMC series another chance. I really gotta finish them and then buy 5 :(
I was afraid the story was mid or nonexistent but this changes my views COMPLETELY. Thank you for this vid.
you see the problem with dmc 2 was they wanted to use beta DLC.
