Thanks for sharing all these awesome clips of The Ghoul! I remember staying up late as a young kid to watch scary movies & half of the fun was watching The Ghoul do his act every week. I remember for years asking others if they had heard of The Ghoul and only once in a while someone would say "YES, I watch him every weekend" That was how I figured out who "my people" were back then
GAWD! we were only 7 years old when this was on! Way before we started watching it for real. I think I was still glued to Mr. Jingaling every Christmas season on the black and white TV.
I loved watching the Ghoul. Anyone remember him going to Vantasia at the Pontiac Silverdome? He walked down through the crowd up in the nosebleed seats. He saw my Dad and at the time my dads beard was really long. The Ghoul asked if it was real and tugged it. Henry Winkler made an appearance as well. What a great memory. Also one of my fond memories is watching the Ghoul and seeing the War of the Gargantuas for the first time.
I used to watch him and Son of Ghoul in the 80s and 90s. Thanks for this.
Thank you so much for sharing this sweet memory. I was five when I was exposed to the glory of Ghoul Power.
