I was fortunate enough to get Ghoul Skits on tape from the Actual 1 inch tapes from ch.61 turns out Ch. 30 in Toledo had acquired these tapes because they needed one inch tapes. It was a public broadcasting company.

There was another host in Toledo Ohio called Dr. Shock. He really gave the Ghoul a run for his money. I strongly suggest to seek him out on UA-cam. Under Dr. Shocks Halloween Special. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

It does not matter what is shot and for what purpose: big effects sequence (no matter the quality and style of it) looks real silly when behind-the-scenes is shown. These physical sequences look even sillier than modern CGI-sequences which look silly indeed.

The movie that I remember the most that the Ghoul sponsored was "Robinson Crusoe on Mars". Netflix showed this movie a few years and I had never watched it without commercials, but it was just as good.

The ghoul was just a cheap reprise of ghoulardi.
