You get the Amazon Prime Exclusive version? I did. As far as I understand, it has the same 10bit camera sensor that the V30 has but bumped up to 16mp and same with the UltraWide lens. But with the UltraWide lens they turned it down to 107 degrees FOV from 120 degrees from the V30 to remove the fisheye curve at the edges.

I think that people buying this phone are getting ear buds included in the box. Maybe they owe you the earbuds! Also, Project Fi is charging $599.00 right now. LG gives an additional second year warranty if you register your V35 with them.
Yeah, that's what the AT&T folk kept referring to it as, so I figured they knew what they were talking about. :-) I imagine it's just a marketing term to emphasize just how slim the unit really is...

I picked this up on Amazon for 529.00 a prime exclusive. I also use the s9+ and it compares very well. The camera on the 9+ appears to be better. Especially in low light. But other than that it matches up quite well. Very happy with the price & performance. I highly recommend this phone at 529.00!
Tough one. I will say that I was a bit appalled by how much bloatware I had to actively reject when I was setting up the V35. Love Samsung, but also still live in the Apple ecosystem. I think the big win with an iPhone is that they're really popular so there are tons of cases, stands, screen protectors, etc etc etc, but the S9 is a sweet device too and, yes, the V35 is a phone I'd be happy to own too, and at a lower price (by a little bit). I'd go to Best Buy or AT&T and try using each of 'em for a few minutes to compare. Good luck!
Thank you for the video. Reading the comments I see one can charge and turn it on at the same time. Have you had a chance to look over the LG V40 and compare these two phones? I would love to hear your thoughts between the two phones. Thank you.
How good is the display, I have seen the V30 on the store and it has Image retention which I hate so much, I hope the v35 doesn't. So I'm asking you cuz you own one, can you tell me if you have seemed (Image retention) with the v35 ThinQ? Thank you!
I thought it was a gorgeous display with no ghosting or image retention. If you're sensitive to that, definitely go into a store and give it a thorough test before you make a purchase decision though!
Today, I got 400 dollars in store credit for trading in my old V20 for buying this phone. The offer was only available for the V35. I used that to buy a jabra set of wireless ear buds. Maybe thats why didnt include a set of wireless ear buds.

I have been looking to upgrade my Samsung S5 for about a year but several things had me think twice. One was the glass back for fragility. Why people think glass backs are great on phones costing hundreds of dollars is beyond me. I believe there are other backs that work successfully for wireless charging that would be stronger. However, try getting a decent phone today that doesn't have almost all glass construction. I did try the V30 at a local Best Buy and generally liked the phone but the price was crazy, right up there with Samsung and Apple and I am going to buy my phone outright as I am on Verizon Prepay and really don't want to give that up. Today is Prime Day on Amazon and I saw that they added the LG V35 ThinQ as a Prime Exclusive phone and the cost was $599.99 plus tax and I thought that was a decent price. Some of the better mid-range phones are priced around that amount and the V35 just seems to have more going for it. Although it will have Amazon apps on the phone, they are apps that I downloaded to my Samsung Galaxy S5 so, for me, that's not really a negative. A couple of other things I'm a bit concerned about is having to go from a micro to a nano sim card and I'm just hoping Verizon doesn't give me a hard time when I go in to get it. Also, I have always purchased my phones through the carrier before this, first Sprint and now Verizon, and I hope buying this unlocked and not from the carrier goes smoothly. Do I have anything to really worry about with my concerns? Obviously, I ordered a case along with the phone to try and mitigate my first concern here.

Just a follow-up. I did purchase the Prime Exclusive version on Prime Day and I must say I am truly impressed. My concerns about the unlocked phone or trying to get a nano sim card without problems were completely unwarranted. I lucked out at my Verizon store and got a young man who was both very pleasant and helpful and that is not always the case. Ten minutes later I was walking out of the store with my new phone completely operational. Even my contacts were moved over for me and because my photos were already on the SD card, they transferred over, too. Compared to the 4½ year old Samsung Galaxy S5, I am just blown away by the camera. I actually find it easier to use, as well. Using the phone, people hear me clearly and I them. Typing response is superb and setting up and opening the lock screen via fingerprint scanner was very easy, and that is coming from someone who knows nothing about technology. The screen is crisp and crystal clear. The one thing I did do was look up the manual on line and print out all 198 pages, in book form (two pages to an 8½x11 piece of paper, front and back) and take it to a FedEx Copy Center where I had them cut the pages properly and wire bind it, with covers, into a physical manual. That really helped me get started and was well worth the $8.00 cost at the copy center. So far so good and if I get the same 4+ years I got out of the S5 then I shall be more than pleased.
