I just completed the installation of the Brandmotion backup camera on my 2012 Sahara Unlimited this afternoon. Your video was extremely helpful because the 34 step set of instructions that come with the camera were not the best. The camera worked perfect with no problems. The hardest parts of the job were lifting the spare tire back on the carrier and fishing the chassis harness through the tail gate and up through the center stack. A coat hanger is highly recommended! Thanks for your help!Greg C.
+Bobbie Czajkowski Thanks a lot for the positive comment! I am really happy that my video was helpful for you! I love the coat hanger idea! When you there is a will there is a way! Good stuff! Thanks for watching! #jeepwave
Very helpful video. I was having issues connecting the backup camera. I checked dozens of videos/articles, none showed what I needed, this video did! Thank, well done!
Great video, gave me the courage to do this install tonight. Now I have to have the dealer program my radio because I went the cheap route. $222.00 plus $65 dealer fee.
I want to give you an A plus on your video. I am picking up tomorrow my 2014 Sahara unlimited and my wife was missing a back up camera. YOUR video solved my problem. Thanks. I don't need a camera on my 46 flat fender. Lol.... Oh I subscribed to your channel also. Thanks again.
+Bar Mats Thanks for the encouragement bro! I am glad that you are able to do this installation yourself now! One point of advise! Be cautious of where you fish the wires through the tire carrier, make sure that when you put the tire back on and tighten it down, you do not pinch the cable and break them. Besides that it is very simple. Thanks for watching!
+AdventureDex A couple of questions: 1) Your video says not to run the wiring through the center of the tire carrier but it looks like that's how you did it. Should it not run as shown in the video? 2) It's not clear what triggers the camera to display in the head unit when reverse is selected - other brands wire into the reverse circuit that receives power only when reverse is selected. This camera appears to derive its power from the cigarette lighter. How does it "know" to switch to the camera when reverse is selected? Thanks in advance!
+Bar Mats Thanks for the questions! 1) Running it through the center of the tire carrier was a mistake. It will not work because the tire will pinch the wire once tighten. 2) The reason I love this system as apposed to others is that it is not something that you "add on" to your Jeep. This system actually get "integrated" into the Jeeps computer, just as if it came from the factory. This works by an OBD2 programmer that comes with this kit. You follow the instructions, plug your OBD2 programmer into your Jeep, your Jeep will honk and now your Jeep knows that it has a camera built in. So once you put your Jeep in reverse, your Jeep will know to display the picture....its like magic LOL (and some cables that were plugged into the back of the display) I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Hello, I wanted to thank you for your tutorial which allowed me to finalize the installation of my reverse camera installation on my Jeep. I notice at the end to connect the red wire on orange one... That was the solution...Thank you from France, Cap-Ferret peninsula. Merci...
Thanks alot! You can definitely use t taps to join the power. I am not sure what size, although I would guess smaller would be better. Thanks for watching!
what about leaving 4-6 inches of slack in the rear door panel in case you need to readjust the camera location later - if you put on bigger tires for example or change rims/tire carrier? Thanks again for another great video
+213motorhead Thanks a lot! It is a great upgrade to the Jeep! Its almost impossible to see out the back window even with a stock tire! Thanks for watching!
Another great video - how did you separate the waterproof connector @ 6 minutes in - mine came preconnected - how did you remove the coupler so you could run the wires through the loom
This was very helpful...although I have one question that i need to ask . Yourself and all the other videos showing this install always use the vents behind the tire carrier to run the camera line into the jeep. why not use the empty grommet thats there on the right hand side? If you stop the video at the 4:25 mark, you will see that there is a perfectly good, non used grommet that can be used.
Great video! You showed the camera coming on when you put the vehicle in reverse and the radio head was turned on. Will the camera image present when the radio head is turned off as well? Thanks! The knife is great!
AdventureDex , if the radio is turned off (no music playing) will the camera image present when the vehicle is put into reverse? I assume when the radio is on (music playing) the image will present when reverse is selected. Thanks!
Great job ! I am so impressed with the clarity of the instructions on this installation video and installation is fairly time consuming but simple. However, why in the hell does the warning state *DO NOT RUN WIRING IN THE CENTER OF THE TIRE CARRIER, THE RIM AND TIRE WILL BREAK THE WIRE” . It’s impossible to do this install without running the wire through the center of the tire carrier , unless I am missing something . Please explain......🤔
Thanks for the step by step instructions, I found them way more useful than manual it comes with. I installed my camera and got my radio flashed from the dealer. Now every time I out my jeep (2013 Sahara) in reverse all I can see is a message that says "check surrounding" or something. Any trouble shooting suggestion?
Thanks alot for the positive feedback. Does the message come up on the screen or is it on the bottom? It might be the camera software itself. I am not entirely sure.
it comes at the top of the screen, I took the dashboard off and unplugged the camera and put jeep in reverse and again I got the same message. It is like, display and camera are not communicating with each other.
+Varun Singh Thakur that's strange, could it be a problem with the way it was programmed? My kit came with an OBD2 module. You might need to get the dealership to reset it for you!
+Eh Steve! Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately, the park lines don't move but I actually learnt something new from another subscriber who purchased the back up camera which isn't the adjustable one and he said that that version doesn't even come with lines at all. So if you interested in this product be sure to check out the link in the description for the exact spec seen in the video! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Big help in installing in my 2017 75th Anniversary Edition Wrangler Unlimited w/Nav and it worked flawlessly. One question: any particular reason why you ran the wiring harness under the carpet on the passenger side to center console rather than continuing up to the dash and running behind glovebox? Since there's plenty of wire, I found this the easiest way to go. You just need to pop out the glove box to fish it through. Thanks again for an awesome video!
Thanks Paige! I appreciate your input! I have installed a few of these since this video and found that sometimes it depends on the year of the Jeep. As long as the wires won't get pinched it doesnt really matter which way you run them! thanks for watching!
Paige Adams Hello, I have a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited. I’ve installed this same model but can’t get it to work. I didn’t have a red wire and a red/black at the front with the yellow RCA plug. I just had the red wire and yellow RCA plug. I plugged in the RCA at the dash and attached the red and black wire at the back to the 12V plug in the back for power. Nothing. I’ve ordered four of these because I looked at the instructions and noticed two other harnesses that were not included in box. All are the same as my original order. Could the red wire in the front just hook to power and there be no need for the red/black wire which I assume is the ground? Thanks for your help.
Great job have quick question the obd you don't have to use on the other android radio you bought correct. It's just add camera and it should work? Thanks in advance
awesome video! I want to purchase this for my 2015 jkus since I have the 430n. Just for extra clarification, in order to have the backup lines I'll need to buy the adjustable model and not the fixed model correct?
+Chris Wilkinson Thanks a lot! I have been told that the lines only appear on the adjustable back up camera. I have no idea why but apparently the fixed back up camera doesn't have the lines. In my opinion, the adjustable is much better because it fits on both the stock wheels and aftermarket wheels. Be sure to use the link in the description to order the correct on as seen in the video! Thanks for watching!
When you connected the grey wire to the back of the factory display do you remember which pin holes the red and black wires that make up the grey wire go into on the 22 pin connector?
AdventureDex great video but the wiring at the front doesn’t match the wiring in my box. The wire I ran from the back to the front only has the yellow RCA plug and a RED WIRE. It does not have a red and black wire too which you wired to the cigarette lighter. Was there another wiring harness that I don’t have with the other RCA hook ups? Thanks for your response.
Great install video. Would you recommend this product approach or purchasing the MyGig lock pick first to be able to install multiple cameras and other features? Thanks
Thanks for the comment Brandon! It would all depend on your knowledge. You can definitely build your own kit, this is obviously a simpler route for those who are looking for one stop shop. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate you getting back to me. I was researching this product and I saw model last four number 8837 and another 8847, price difference $20. Not sure what are the differences? I have a 2017 JKU and looking to get both front and rear camera. Are there any other products that works with factory unit? Seems like the Brandmotion is the only option?
Ofcourse bro! I am not familiar with any other products as I don't have experience with any. I know that you could definitely build your own kit like I said but Brandmotion was just the easiest route for me. Feel free to hit them up they have great customer service!
Hey dex, when you said don't run the wiring in the center so it won't break. So what's shown on your video is okay? I'm a little bit confused since it looks like it's in the middle. Can you specify a bit. I'm installing my brandmotion this week and will be following your video! Thanks in advance
+riccixboi Thanks a lot for the comment! You will see when you take out your head unit that the wires will need to move to the side so they don't get pinched! This is actually a pretty simple installation. You just need to follow the steps and remember where the screws came out of! lol! Let me know if you get stuck! Thanks for watching!
Looks pretty simple, except for that soldering part, I'ver never done that. By the way, what exhaust do you have? sounded real nice when you started it.
Oliver Rojas Thanks for the comment! It is pretty simple if you aren't afraid to take apart your Jeep! It takes about an hour or two to install! here is the link to the exhaust, I also have a video on that installation. amzn.to/1fy7RRv Thanks for watching!
Adveturedex What year is your Jeep Wrangler and what ODII Module do you use in the final step to sync the camera to the rest of the system? I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
Hi Again Adventure Dex. For those Anzo USA 311203 Smoke LED Tail Lights, have you had any problems with them? Burnt out diodes, moisture, anything like that? Thanks so much.
+wolverine211 Hi! Thanks for the questions. No problems at all! I have had these over a year and they are still going strong! I would definitely recommend. Here is the link for convenience. amzn.to/1iwqeYM Thanks for watching!
Congratulation!!! The best videos are from you....I have a 2018 Rubicon jk with the same sound system, i have order this rear camera, do you know if can install front camera? Regards from Spain.
Just subscribed, love your videos-- My question is I just bought the Seicane 10.1 Stereo (and I see you bought one as well) and if you installed this camera on the Seicane stereo would you still have to solder the wires to the cigarette lighter cables for power or does the Seicane Stereo provide it because it does provide a 12V+ cable on the back of the unit next to the RCA cables. Would love your thought on this?
+Jay Ranger The camera will still need power from the cig lighter. If your not comfortable soldering just get some splice clips and it’s super easy! Thanks for watching
Hey Dex, thanks for the reply will do!! You should do an updated "walk around" video of your jeep. Its came along way it would be nice to see everything all together in one video!
I just purchased a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Polar Edition that does not have a touch screen radio. I would like to install a backup camera do you have any suggestions on where I could find a used Jeep radio and a reasonably priced backup camera?
Congrats on your new purchase Brenden! You should check the forums for used Jeep displays sometimes you can find fellow Jeepers on their selling theirs. I like Brandmotion back up cameras but there a bit pricey but super quality. Amazon is always a good bet but make sure you read the reviews! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for the comment Artin! Here is the link to the Exhaust (amzn.to/2dQTf1z) I have a full DIY installation video on my channel! Thanks for watching!
Hi AdevntureDex. As a fellow Jeep Wrangler owner,, your videos are fantastic! Quick question for you regarding the Bandmotion rear camera. Does the update that is applied through the kit, does this at the same time enable the video/navigation/phone in motion factory settings? (So you can watch a DVD while the vehicle is in motion?) Thanks so much and keep the great videos coming! :)
wolverine211 Thanks for your comment and positive feedback! It does not effect the video/nav/phone settings, it simply tells the Jeep to display the rear video when the transmission is shifted into reverse. I don't think you will be able to watch a DVD while in motion. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to sub!
Jordan Gross This is hands down the #1 questions I get on my channel! Yes! I am 100% getting wheels, rims, and a lift. It is very expensive to ship and import things to the Bahamas. So I wheel, rim, lift combo might cost you 5k in the states.....it would end up costing me almost 10k by the time it reaches my hands. So i got some saving up to do. I will make a video on this soon so that everyone can understand the struggle LOL Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for the lift, wheel and rims combo!
+JMIA Z Thanks for the comment! I cant really recommend another camera because I have had no experience with anything else but Brandmotion... here are some other options which you might find interesting amzn.to/1QUtMjr I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Just wondering how your Brandmotion camera has been working. I was told by a local installer that they freeze and factory radio does not operate properly. Is this true? Thanks for feedback.
Thanks man I learned some things about the install and my vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler. I respectfully question the soldering technique from 16:00-16:11(unless you edited a portion of the soldering out). It appears from the video that the solder was melted by the iron tip and allowed to drip or flow downward onto the bare surface of stranded copper conductors at much lower temperature. I know your not building a rocket ship and the connection will probably hold. I watched women solder in a defense plant. They were certified to Navy standards and all work was checked and rechecked. They would (if space permitted)place the iron under the bare area of the wire and heat from the bottom(heat rises)while placing the solder(Rosin Core) perhaps 60-40 (Tin-Lead)against the top of the wire opposite the iron. When the copper strands conducted enough heat, the solder would melt flowing down into the strands. If hot molten solder was allowed to drip onto a cold surface(the bare wire) the bonding necessary to pass testing many times would fail and be rejected although it looked good to my untrained eye. Those girls made it look easy but when I was building electrical control panels the challenge was not to char the insulation and embrittle it for several inches in length either side of the connection while waiting for the solder to melt. Thanks again. I was trying to get my dash apart, I even said a bad word!! But I'll try it your way.
+Flickchaser Thanks a lot for the comment! My soldering skills are OK at best! I am by no means a professional. My videos are meant for educational and entertainment purposes however there is a lot of editing that goes into the videos so sometimes the "boring" parts are cut out. Hopefully the steps were clear enough for you to follow or at least to give you the confidence that if I can do it then you can too. Thanks for watching! #jeepwave
Hello, i just got my same brand motion part and i want to install it on my Jeep sahara unlimited 2015, but i dont have a provision for a cigarette lighter!! where should i connect the power and ground cables?
+Walid Hamdy Thanks for the comment and question! If you don't have a cigarette lights thats no problem. You simply need to find a constant power source. That can either come from the battery or any other provision that has constant power such as power windows, power locks or the ignition. The ground cables you can simply run to any bolt that connects to the body (you can usually find one of these under the driver or passenger seats. I thought this helps with your installation. Thanks for watching!
+Hani Al-Sabban Thanks for the comment! No the dash is pretty easy to break down and it goes back together easy. Just a few screws and clips. Thanks for watching!
Considering this product but to clarify first it looks like you ran the wiring in the center of the tire carrier while saying not to.. where do you run the wire if not the way you did?
+Nancy Portela Thanks for the comment! My 2014 Jeep has a touch screen radio without Nav and it worked fine. To be 100%, i would contact Brandmotion. They have a very good customer service department. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
hey AdventureDex, in your video you say to contact you in case we want to purchase a camera. I am interested in the one for aftermarket wheels, Jeep Wrangler 2012.
Thanks for the comment Frank! The wires only broke when they were pinched on the spare tire, that was a big mistake but I re ran it and its been perfect ever since!
David Bono Thanks for the comment! I actually have a video showing how I removed and painted my interior trim. ua-cam.com/video/EOPzjh6tSO8/v-deo.html If you don't want to do that you can purchase them at this link. amzn.to/1SFVNdt Thanks for watching!
Any issues with connecting Android auto? Or making bt calls? Mine is not working properly and the tech support/customer service from carobotor is absolute trash. I've had the K1 since December and still cannot workout the issues. I've sent them email, WhatsApp messages and no help whatsoever.
Cody Colbert Thanks for the comment! It will override your display and switch to the back up camera once the Jeep is swifted into reverse. My radio doesn't stop playing but the screen changes. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the comment Jason! Yes, you can install the back up camera with a stock radio by getting the mirror display! Email me for the hook up info@adventuredexonline.com Thanks for watching!
+sylvie cote Thanks for the comment Sylvie! Yes, this will work with all touch screen displays! Check the link in the description for best price! Thanks for watching!
I know this video is a few years old but has anyone experienced a "no video" signal after a few months of use? Installed in November and now it's May. My dash gets pretty hot and it seems like it could be overheating.
+عليان العليان Thanks a lot! Here is the link for the price of the camera! amzn.to/1LShCJ7 They also make a version for after market rims. Thanks for watching!
I wouldn't run the wire under the spare tire or thru the vent... Do I really want to pinch the cable between the rim and mount? I'd run it on top of the carrier and into the plug shown just right of the spare carrier...
Question... I am getting a back up camera but I already have the same touch screen you have from www.seicane.com. do I still need the module to program it since it's not the factory radio/screen?
I just completed the installation of the Brandmotion backup camera on my 2012 Sahara Unlimited this afternoon. Your video was extremely helpful because the 34 step set of instructions that come with the camera were not the best. The camera worked perfect with no problems. The hardest parts of the job were lifting the spare tire back on the carrier and fishing the chassis harness through the tail gate and up through the center stack. 2014 Jeep Wrangler Dragon Edition
+Steve Johnson Thanks a lot for the positive feedback Steve! I am glad you found this video helpful! Thanks for watching!
Your video was well illustrated and offered some very good tips on the installation process. Good work.
Thanks a lot Farrell! I appreciate it!
Great video brother! You’re always very thorough and film all your steps. Just bought a Jeep and find your channel very helpful. :)
Excellent video! Love your videos as I upgrade my own Jeep.
This backup camera is my next add on.
Excellent video and step-by-step instructions - thanks for putting this together. I have confidence now that I can do this job on my own.

Excelent, with enough detail for all installation.
Thanks for showing the details of each step. Awesome job!
Thanks alot for the positive feedback Karen! #jeepwave
Great Video, you did a wonderful job showing each step. Instead of soldering, I plan on using t-taps, do you know what size t-taps I should use?

I have a diesel Jeep Wrangler Rubicon do you think I will have a problem with it's OBD2 module?
I like how he says “use the trim remover” like it’s some complex tool but it’s really just a plastic knife
+Mr NOAHTheJoker lol Do as a day not as I do! Thanks for watching!
So this camera came with the OBDII installation software? Any suggestions given the kit I have didn't come with an OBDII port installation software?
Would this work with an aftermarket Pioneer radio? (dmh2660nex) And would the installation process be the same?
Thanks for the video. How did you fish the wires out of the tailgate once you fed them in through the vent?
+Josh Harris Thanks for the comment! I used a snake to fish the wires and pull them through. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Congratulation!!! The best videos are from you....I have a 2018 Rubicon jk with the same sound system, i have order this rear camera, do you know if can install front camera? Regards from Spain.
Shouldn’t you plug the camera in first to test to see if its even working before doing anything?
Hey Dex, I just purchased a back up camera which does not come with an OBD programmer m. Would this work without it?
You say not to run it thought the center of the tire carrier because it will ruin the wire. Could you run it behind the carrier instead?
+Jay Ranger Thanks brother! Great idea!!
You didn’t explain why you used the aftermarket wheel camera ?
Hey Dex, is there a way or different kit that allows you to turn the camera on if you had a large tire and want to use it as a rear view mirror ?
Awesome Vid! What kind of an exhaust do you have installed, and was it easy enough to do yourself or did u take it in to a mechanic?
Thanks for the comment Artin! Here is the link to the Exhaust (amzn.to/2dQTf1z) I have a full DIY installation video on my channel! Thanks for watching!
Do you have to solder the wires together or can you just skip that step and tape the blue and black wires separately and then tape them together?
Either or but I like to solder! Lasts forever! Thanks for watching!
You can just tape them separately and then tape together. The soldering just ensures the best connection possible.
Does this camera plug directly into the back of the factory Jeep radio? The 430N...
Yes, I believe so. You can always check with BrandMotion for further confirmation!
Great video - saved me a sheee ton of time!
+Curtis Bauer Thanks for the positive feedback Curtis!
The kit is not available on Amazon, where to buy it from ?
When r ever going to get some good rims for your wrangler? And or a lift?
Jordan Gross This is hands down the #1 questions I get on my channel! Yes! I am 100% getting wheels, rims, and a lift. It is very expensive to ship and import things to the Bahamas. So I wheel, rim, lift combo might cost you 5k in the states.....it would end up costing me almost 10k by the time it reaches my hands. So i got some saving up to do. I will make a video on this soon so that everyone can understand the struggle LOL Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for the lift, wheel and rims combo!
Hey man, can you tell me where to buy a rearview camera for my JK 2012 Sahara, I like the Brand motion, but can't spend $500?
+JMIA Z Thanks for the comment! I cant really recommend another camera because I have had no experience with anything else but Brandmotion... here are some other options which you might find interesting amzn.to/1QUtMjr I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
He can’t recommend different camera this video was probably sponsored by this brand camera
Question do you have to melt the wires together, is their another way of doing that?
Splice clips are great
Thank you Dex great video yet again..
Thanks for watching!!
Just wondering how your Brandmotion camera has been working. I was told by a local installer that they freeze and factory radio does not operate properly. Is this true? Thanks for feedback.
Thanks for the comment! Brandmotion working prefect, it has never failed me! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
where did you get the adaptor that plugs into the rear of the stereo to be able to attach the wires form the camera unit?
Clicked on the link and was shocked at the price of $369, looked at the suggestions and seen ones just like it for $70. Nice install video though.
Hi,
Since you had to remove the dash to complete the installation, did that cause any additional squeaking sounds coming from the dash while driving?
+Hani Al-Sabban Thanks for the comment! No the dash is pretty easy to break down and it goes back together easy. Just a few screws and clips. Thanks for watching!
I've noticed that all the videos for the install of the back up cam are for automatic transmissions, any difference for a manual?
+Greg Fleury Great question, I don’t think there is any difference tho!! Thanks for watching
great videos --- @ 5:30 how did you fish the video wires through the tailgate?
Considering this product but to clarify first it looks like you ran the wiring in the center of the tire carrier while saying not to.. where do you run the wire if not the way you did?
Don’t run through the center as it will pinch run it around the back 👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome video Bro. I think you over killed the box though lmao.
Shaw McKinney Thanks bro! haha :p
Can this installation work with a 2016 factory radio without navigation. The radio is touch screen.
Have you checked out brandmotion website?
Can you reccomed a mount solution for a tire that swings out with the swings out on a carrier ?
My camera cord was long enough to fit on my tire carrier that swings out. Thanks for watching!!
Hey man where can I get a programmer that way I don’t make the trip to the dealership
Is there an option other than mount it on the rear tire....I have a tire cover due to snow and rain.
so how long did it take for the wire to break? Ran the same set up but ran the cables differently.
Thanks for the comment Frank! The wires only broke when they were pinched on the spare tire, that was a big mistake but I re ran it and its been perfect ever since!
hey I only asked because of the don't do this warning on the Vid. I don't think I know a jeep on that hasn't learned from a mistake now and then.
Yeah, I had to put that warning there so everyone can not make the same mistake I did! Thanks for watching
Wait, so it says don’t run wire through center of tire mount, and he goes through the center. Am I missing something?
Because while filming I didn’t realize it would pinch the wire, while editing I made sure you would see the warning
AdventureDex that makes sense.
Where can I get those red accents? (Vent rings, Grab bar, door handles)
Will that work in 2010 Jeep Wrangler unlimited sport?
Any issues with connecting Android auto? Or making bt calls? Mine is not working properly and the tech support/customer service from carobotor is absolute trash. I've had the K1 since December and still cannot workout the issues. I've sent them email, WhatsApp messages and no help whatsoever.
Will this work with a video playing or will it stop the video and go to the backup camera
Cody Colbert Thanks for the comment! It will override your display and switch to the back up camera once the Jeep is swifted into reverse. My radio doesn't stop playing but the screen changes. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Can a backup camera be installed on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler stock radio?
Thanks for the comment Jason! Yes, you can install the back up camera with a stock radio by getting the mirror display! Email me for the hook up info@adventuredexonline.com Thanks for watching!
What is the different between 9002-8847 and 9002-8837?
Wonderful video
Hey Dex , Will this work on manual shifting on a 2012 jk?
Yes! Thanks for watching!
hi I have a Jeep 2014 Wrangler with navigation system is that it'll work
+sylvie cote Thanks for the comment Sylvie! Yes, this will work with all touch screen displays! Check the link in the description for best price! Thanks for watching!
Man where can I get that programmer ??? And dose the camera comes with the radio also or not ?
The programmer is apart of this kit!
where did you get the red trims on your dashboard? are they metal?
Painted the factory bezel 👍🏼👍🏼
GREAT video.
Craig Baillou Thanks Craig! They make it for the Ram too, if you interested!
I know this video is a few years old but has anyone experienced a "no video" signal after a few months of use? Installed in November and now it's May. My dash gets pretty hot and it seems like it could be overheating.
good work what's the price of camera
+عليان العليان Thanks a lot! Here is the link for the price of the camera! amzn.to/1LShCJ7 They also make a version for after market rims. Thanks for watching!
Very helpful, thanks.
Thanks alot Dana!
How can you tell if your factory Navigation supports a backup camera?
From 2017 and older jeeps as long as it has a color screen radio whether it has navigation or not can be done
I wouldn't run the wire under the spare tire or thru the vent... Do I really want to pinch the cable between the rim and mount? I'd run it on top of the carrier and into the plug shown just right of the spare carrier...
Correct! I made that mistake unfortunately! Thanks for watching!!
Good video. Thanks for the assist!!!
liked and subscribed, THANKS!!
drluisma01 Thanks for subbing!
Where can you get that tire bracket with extension...no camera.
ted nugent Check out Brandmotions website, if you call they might be able to send you that specific part. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Question... I am getting a back up camera but I already have the same touch screen you have from www.seicane.com. do I still need the module to program it since it's not the factory radio/screen?
Have the same question did you have to do that or not?
