I'm a guy who knows nothing about cars (not proud of that, btw) but your video walked me right through the removal of my 2014 Jeep Wrangler's radio. The problem I had was the radio would cut out for 2 seconds after playing for 4. The dealership told me I'd need a new radio ($900; though they suggested I go to Best Buy and get one there) but from what I read online this would not solve my problem. I called Jeep; they claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. I posted on Cargurus.com and they helped me out with a link to a video as to how to solder the radio when I got it out of the vehicle--but I needed to get it out of the vehicle. Which is where your video proved invaluabe! Thank you!!

Great video. I would have never figured out both steps required to remove the power window switch.
I didn't seem to need to remove the vents like you did but I can see how it could have been helpful. Thank you for your guidance. I couldn't have gotten this done without you.

Thanks for watching. There doesnt seem to be enough room in the wiring for the window switch so once you get it pulled out....getting to the connector is difficult due to the length of that wiring. Those vents being removed help out alot for that. Thanks for the comment and make sure to subscribe

And ... 2 years later, I still haven't removed it - and my radio has degraded to the point I get zero AM stations (not even the local 50000 watt blow torch) and, spotty FM reception. Still a great video.

Good video, but you don't need to remove the vents at all. They come off with the dash bezel without that extra step.

When I made the video I was following the service manual step by step. I have learned since then that its an unneeded step. Appreciate you watching and for the time you spend commenting as well. Many thanks and make sure to subscribe

MotorCity Mechanic although you do not need to it definitely helps to remove the 2 center ones to help with removing the window switch.

@@MotorCityMechanic I'm glad you did, the step just saved me another ten minutes of searching as my ac vents aren't staying in place. Thanks for the video, helped a lot.
