Just used it. Fantastic. I love how you keep us one step ahead in your process. You prep the viewer, you announce tool sizes, etc. No wasted words either. Just perfect!
As a professional videographer, I must say your video is very impressive. From the camera angles, audio, and step by step simple instructions, it is very well done.
I drank 3 beers and I was STILL able to understand everything you said - I had spent over $100 on a factory service manual and it was not half as useful as your video - thank you so much 🙂
This gentleman should be used as the standard for an instructional video. Well done. And, thanks for the video on this topic in particular. It was very helpful.
David makes the best how to videos on UA-cam . I changed an evaporator coil on my ram 1500 following his instructions., it made a daunting job a breeze . I need to change a Jeep radio . Thanks motor city mechanic!
I'm a guy who knows nothing about cars (not proud of that, btw) but your video walked me right through the removal of my 2014 Jeep Wrangler's radio. The problem I had was the radio would cut out for 2 seconds after playing for 4. The dealership told me I'd need a new radio ($900; though they suggested I go to Best Buy and get one there) but from what I read online this would not solve my problem. I called Jeep; they claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. I posted on Cargurus.com and they helped me out with a link to a video as to how to solder the radio when I got it out of the vehicle--but I needed to get it out of the vehicle. Which is where your video proved invaluabe! Thank you!!

Dude! Just had to log in and say: What a great video!! Great lighting, camera angles, audio. Detailed, concise explanations on everything, with bolt sizes and all. I'm pretty sure my 9 year old could remove my dash if he watched this a few times. Thanks, and Subscribed!!
Many thanks Greg! If you had watched one of my earlier videos you would say something else lol. I have improved over time and try to step it up each time when possible. Thanks for having subscribe and for the great feedback! Maybe I should use a 9 year old to show how easy these repairs can be sometimes lol.
I just bought an aftermarket radio for my Wrangler. Thank you so much for this video. Your explanations are amazing in those little tricks to help you from stop breaking clips or ductwork is priceless. Keep up the great work bud! We appreciate you!!
Thank you sir for taking the time to make this video. I have 2015 wrangler and just ordered a new head unit with Apple car play. Your video was very detailed and appreciate the time you spent making it. Also wanna thank the person who replied saying you don’t need to remove the ac vents.
I appreciate the video and the help removing radio from 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. So thankful I stopped tugging at the thing, thinking it was all just snap-in fasteners!

easy to follow. best DIY video. took me less than 30 minutes from start to complete reassembly. if you're looking for the heated seat module it's just to the passenger side of the radio. can remove and replace without removing radio.
Great video! Explained and performed very well. I just got this jeep and am thinking of swapping the radio because of the silly call buttons that are useless. Now I know how. Thank you very much.
Thank you for this video. I have watched probably 50 different tutorials and yours was the most efficient and thorough without all of the other garbage. I definitely appreciate you showing the "2 step" lock, I can't tell you how many of those red clips I have broken simply out of ignorance as to how they work. Thanks sir!
I stumbled upon your video and I am so glad that I did. I ordered a new head unit and should be installing in the next couple of days. After watching this, my confidence went from a 6 to a 10. Clear, concise, and complete. I've got a Harrelson.
One of the best how to videos Ive seen. Thanks for the tip on the vents. Not needed but if i do ever have to remove I would have never known about the locking mechanism. Great info

There is not a video out there that put in a 10" android radio that is not 100% made to go into a jk I think that would be a good video to help those that dont want to spend a ton of money on a radio that really is $130. That being said that video you shared here was 100% perfect. best video of removal i have seen yet thank you and keep it up
Great video!! After watching it once prior to to the removal and install, I was able to follow along, almost as the video was playing. Very well done. Thanks
I rarely comment on YT videos, but this was a great video. No hand-held jerky camera, nice and bright and easy to see, no stupid music, and the information was presented in a very clear and organized fashion. I'll be removing my Jeep NAV system and putting in a new fancy schmancy Kenwood NAV with aftermarket speakers, subs, amps, etc. Thanx! Any tips on getting the steering wheel to interface before i go and buy some expensive adapter I may not need?---jim

This is an excellent, video step by step so I don’t break anything. (Maybe) my 2013 is having the on again off again issues all Jeeps seem to have eventually. Now I may attempt to change the radio out myself. Great Video!

Thanks for watching. There doesnt seem to be enough room in the wiring for the window switch so once you get it pulled out....getting to the connector is difficult due to the length of that wiring. Those vents being removed help out alot for that. Thanks for the comment and make sure to subscribe
