So, Good Burger 2 Is FINALLY Here and...

- After 26 years, the sequel to the classic 90's film Good Burger is here! Good Burger 2 reunites us with Kenan and Kel's iconic characters of Dexter and Ed and right back to the fast food establishment of Good Burger having to deal with Dexter's old issues still being their and having to fix them by saving Good Burger from what it is forcefully getting turned into. Let's see if Good Burger 2 can capture the same charm the original Good Burger film had.

Thanks so much for watching! Let me know your thoughts on Good Burger 2 and if you feel it did justice to the original Good Burger movie from 26 years ago!
No offense bro, but why did you get crinkle cut fries instead of Curley? Arby’s is known for the Curley. But good video.
That's part of the combo. I was confused when I saw it on the menu thinking "who gets crinkle fries at Arby's"??
hey zoey 102 was good also the first good burger wasn't cheeshy it was good
@@mattyaboi1653because the meal has crinkle cut fries
Ah, your video showed another cameo from the first film, Shar Jackson. She played Monique in the first Good Burger movie, and she has a cameo here as herself singing along with other celebrities to give Good Burger back.
Im just glad Kel Mitchell got another movie deal, bro seriously deserved it.. always felt bad that his career never took off the way kennen's did.
Yes after All that and Kennen and kel ended they both tried out for sat night live and kel got rejected. His wife cheated on him and his acting career tanked even moved to a low income area. So happy he is now better and back to where he is at
Wow I did not kno he had problems finding Jobs he was always the most entertaining of the both🤷🏾♀️
I think he was the “wacky” one and people know him for “wacky” not the “serious funny/can tell a joke a not have to be too off the wall” one yk like the comic that Keenan seemed to be not the slapstick/off the wall type. So, people probs thought “what could we really do with him”
Think Damon, Marlon & Shawn Wayans
Damon- serious funny/silly can do over the top, but mainly just cracks a joke and ya laugh
Marlon- Off the wall, goofy asl for the most part. He leans into dramatics more
Shawn- more mellow than Marlon in his roles at least, always the more logical funny one (again, he can do over the top too)
All of them found success, but it’s probably harder to sell a person who throws themself at a wall if they aren’t specifically creating that space/their own shows for them to do so like the Wayans. Like imagine Kel as a family man just cracking jokes
I think he got typecasted & people can’t see past that side. But to be fair, his pitches to SNL were too wild for them apparently.
His makeup was horrible though in the movie.
@@DeionSardines it was, but ol kel was looking pretty rough these days. Kinda rode hard and put away wet look. Old age catching up.
Thank god this movie keeps the feel of the OG. This proves that movies dont need a huge budget or a bunch of CGI to be good.
It doesn't
The movie was bad
I just watched good burger 2 and I feel like the movie needed an actual movie budget instead of a tv episode budget
@@Sandlerversethey don’t make movies like they used too
@@Sandlerverse the og movie isn’t by any means a big budget film either.
Even after driving past Arby's the other day, seeing the ads... it's hard to believe we're in a timeline where Good Burger 2 exists.
I find it funny that Good Burger was originally a skit on ALL THAT
It was, with Good Burger 2 it might benefit "All that" getting a DVD release with the musical guests uncut, the musical guests were the best parts of the original All that show!
They did Good Burger skits in the recent All That revival, too. They didn't cake as much makeup on Kel on that, so idk why they did for the movie.
@@firelightyear all that soundtrack was 🔥 as a kid
@@phillmoe Yeah, since this is the 30th anniversary of All that I am hoping we get All that but only seasons 1-6 on DVD with the musical guests uncut.
@@firelightyear that'll be hard. 🤞
I’m glad it wasn’t a shameless cash grab and actually had a lot of substance, without alienating fans of the first Good Burger. The passion is real in this one.
It was a cash grab. It also did alienate alot of the og fans because alot of the fans didn't want a good burger 2, especially this many years later.
@@RozziefeatherschneiderIt was a fun and silly movie. Nothing was taken from original fans.
@@Rozziefeatherschneider how, streaming makes less money
It’s 2023 haven’t you heard any remake of an old movie is automatically a cash grab lmao
@@BigNateDoggOG Cash grab, yes. Shameless? No.
It's so rare to make a good sequel that is faithful to the original and Kenan and Kel just did it, they're still an amazing duo.
Of course they both are executive producers they for sure was going to have to do this one justice
I hope this movie puts Kel on the radar for future projects. He deserves the recognition and success that Kenan got instead.
Agreed! Kel is awesome and frankly so underrated! Kenan and Kel!
It always baffled me that kenan got the better career or the both not taking away from his talent but kel was more entertaining in my opinión 🤔
Ned's Declassified Adult Survival Guide would kill on Paramount Plus
So would a workaholics movie
@@damonhargett4284So mad that Paramount scrapped it right after they finished the script
Nickelodeon would never let that happen 😊
They tried and they wouldn't give them the rights
They was having full orgies and open sex on set.
The Good Burger from Arby's is just... it's dope man, I've had like... 7... shared one with my daughter while watching the older movie and she was absolutely ecstatic and also thought it was super cool. Good Burger may not be what the world's wants, but it is what it needs.
It was cool and taste great but they should have done some real packaging. Seemed like a massive let down. I didnt even get a dang sticker
The wagyu (even though it's technically all beef) and beef blend is amazing. The extra fat makes the meat just melt in your mouth.
@@Midala87 mfw the wagyu is made of cows 😬
Surprisingly good to be honest. This straight up felt like a real sequel, and like Kenan and Kel actually had the energy to do this again and put in the work. Feels like a superior effort compared to like Bill and Ted for sure.
I’m glad you feel this way, my history teacher thought this movie was terrible. But I will have to respect everyone’s opinion.
There's been talks of a Good Burger 3
It’s crazy how out of all modern sequels, GOOD BURGER 2 is one of the most respectful and fun follow-ups to the original, even slightly improving on aspects from the source material.
I was sastified..after space jam 2 let me down...this was a nice revist with the characters that felt like something the parents who watched the first can appreciate and something kids can get into...if im nitpicking i would of like jillian bell to have a bigger presence in the film as opposed to the lawyer she was truly chewing the scenary
sastified is not a word

Really loved it: was so goofy and fun. took me back to when i saw the first movie in theaters with my brothers, felt the 90s kid in me again. Great video. brings great memories as I make new one with great friends. Thanks Jordan.
Loved it from beginning to end. Kenan and Kel are awesome people and from the interviews they've done to promote the movie you can tell that this truly was a labor of love. It is evident from beginning to end that everyone working on this film is a fan of kenan & Kel , the good burger and its fans. So enjoy and have a wonderful holiday season.
Just hearing those words spoken into the universe struck fear into my heart, I don't think there's another movie that really captured my childhood and brings back such fond memories like Good Burger. I guess besides The Iron Giant or the original Toy Story it's almost like a sacred text to all of us 90s and early 2000's kids. Regardless I'm still going to re-watch the first one even if this one is bad which it most likely won't be.
This was actually filmed in my hometown! It made traffic horrible but it was still really cool to have.
"Welcome to Good Burger, Home of the Good Burger can I take your order?"
It's Great to see Ed and Dexter back again, the first movie was Great and Hilarious.
Of course & Double Toasted Did a Movie Roast Of The Good Burger
Pleasantly surprised that this turned out the way it did, though it goes to show what happens when you make something like this to appeal to fans of the first one.
That strawberry shake from Arby’s is bomb, that was the real hitch if the meal for me. Tastes just like how Nesquick used to taste in the 90’s
Love the fact they kept the same plot set up. I knew just from hearing them talk about it that I wouldn't be disappointed! I'm watching it again tonight Lol
I thought the sequel would be a disaster with the new cast, but there are some positives in it.
I also want some of the original cast to be in it, like Monique, Deedee, Fizz, or Roxanne. Otis is dead now, so that’s a bummer.
Roxanne and fiz was in it remember roxanne was the nanny and fiz came out of the ice thing
Same with Splotch RIP Ron
@@ericksplushvideos Seriously, everybody thinks Spatch dies as well, I really don’t think so. Only Otis said something about being dead, not Spatch. In fact, Spatch said no English at all.
@@spongebobsquarepants6096 well his actor passed away and I feel it would be disrespectful to recast him
@@ericksplushvideosIt would have been interesting if he had a son. It would have been a good tribute to Ron Lester.
Kennan is above this at this point of his career. I'm surprised he took this on
I love that its so campy, fun and silly! I miss this kind of comedy!
Good Burger started as a kids show sketch. Its part of my childhood core memories and to this day, those sketches make me laugh. The first movie was cheesy awesomeness, and this movie was the same cheesy vibe. I loved every moment of the nostalgic warm hug
My girlfriend and roommate are both extras in this movie :)
Opportunity of a lifetime!! I grew up on Good Burger and I’m sure y’all did too so I can only imagine the nostalgic feels!
This is a great sequel to the nostalgic Good Burger!
A shit sequel
I'm just happy to see Kel working again
This movie was so much fun. It had that perfect 90s campiness but it wasn’t over the top. Also the visuals were great! They made a beautiful movie and it felt good to have a nostalgic movie that felt like it cared.
I was watching it when this video went up! I loved every minute of it, it did exactly what it needed to
I loved it tbh. It was a great sequel, with great callbacks and Kenan & Kel’s chemistry is just so on point. Apparently we are getting a third film, and it’s more than welcome for me. I love how this felt like a giant skit from start to end. When I saw the Coca Cola machine branding I kinda figured they’d need to have a ton of money from product placement, but that’s fine. It’s not over the top and it’s just enough to feel like a professionally made student film. 9/10
Me too and it was a great sequel of good Burger 2.
Good Burger is Already in Development & it Will Keep The Same Plot & Same Script.

I'll say this much, it ain't no Space Jam 2
Good Burger 2 is a WAYYY better movie than Space Jam 2
It really is surprising that this movie got made and is out-and perhaps just as surprising to hear that they actually made a pretty decent sequel at that!
It’s not decent. It’s bad, and not funny. The original movie is awesome.

Genuinely happy about this film and how it turned out, found myself getting a kick out of most of the jokes
14:38 Shaq eating a good burger in between kenan and kel is the most 90s thing I’ve ever seen 😂
I honestly felt they could of done a better job, Dexter seemed a bit off, he wasnt as aggresive and funny as the first movie
I’m not sure if this is the first time I’ve seen your face, but I’m still shocked by how similar your pfp looks
Im surprised shar Jackson wasnt in it or made a lil pop up in the movie, wouldve been great to see her and dex still talked or something.
Needs more than just a streaming release. A digital DL too.
Very happy to see that this movie has a lot of good and depth with its characters.
Dang, I can't believe they somehow NAILED the comedy from the original film but in the modern day. It seriously gives me hope, it's just like a movie from the 90s but in higher resolution.
Wished all cast from first one on it. If they was customers. As a camero in the movie
Fun Story: My oldest brother rented "Harold & Kumar get the munchies" to watch with his friends. My mum, seeing the DVD, got confused it was "Good Burger" (maybe racist) so let me & my friends watch it. We were confused but enjoyed it (not really getting the weed jokes). The part where they are on the plane, with the bong, which people think is a bomb & the fat guy yelling "POISON GAS!!" became a meme (in our friendship circle) for years, after.
To be honest, I personally thought the third act kinda sucked. I did absolutely adore Ed. It was at least a 6/10 movie for me, nothing beats the original.
There are so many things in this movie that could have easily been annoying and unfunny, but they managed not to. Idk how much is me wearing nostalgia glasses and because I got the Easter egg references, but I actually found this movie enjoyable. A win in my book!
Now this is a Nostalgia Movie done right. I wasn't to sure about this sequek when it was announce, but they managed to capture the original pretty good.
So Paramount did a sequel right, and I'm happy it was Good Burger
I just got to watch yesterday. It was awesome and I loved it. It still gives something of what happens from one problem to another. And the call backs are cool too.
This sequel was very excellent & still funny as heck.....first thing first, it's still a kid friendly movie which us as adults still love as well too. It's silly comedy but it always @ the end always has a message. Secondly, this comes to prove that you don't need to be vulgar, profanity, heavy sex, nor violence to create movie magic. Sometimes keep it simple speaks for itself. Thirdly, not every funny reference will be a hit....but most of it does & never gotten corny or lame. I love silly comedy, this ones a hit in my book.....
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
"Welcome to good burger, home of the good burger, may I get your order?"
My only gripe: how many times “we’re all dudes” was played/mentioned like it was constantly trying to get it into your head and wouldn’t let it stand on its own once
This movie deserve an Oscar!
Thank you for this review. Good Burger 2 is the 1st thing you see when you open Paramount Plus and I didn't watch it yet just in case it wasn't as good as the 1st. I'm very impressed by this review. The fact that Ed owns Good Burger and has 7 kids made my heart evaporate.😂😂❤😢💯
Wait, what Jordan isn't just a disembodied voice anymore?? I love this so much. Is it weird to be proud?
I enjoyed this sequel, I thought this was a fun continuation.
I tried the good burger meal from Arby's. I didn't care for it and the workers didn't seem to believe it came with a strawberry shake.
The movie and the creative awesome talented one of a kind duo are awesome the energy brings a smile to my face Is like nothing ever changed and to think this all came from a sketch of All That is incredible and shows that anything is possible
When Good Burger 2 drop, I have to live the nostalgia again by watching the first one. 😄 I felt like a kid again just by watching the first movie, remembering everything by heart. Then I went straight to the sequel, and the energy was the same with a big-time skip, of course. I'm glad they did this again, along with some new music for the movie.
I swear it feels like Keenan was just doing kel a favor doing this movie.
i loved it, glad im not the only one
I have no shame in how this is nostalgic and follows the same formula of the first (the first being one of my favorite movies ever). Like of all the stuff getting remade and rebooted and legacy sequels or whatever, this is one that captured the original's essence and did not pander to it. I'm so happy this exists because I gave up hope it would happen. I will say two things about cameos that you didn't mention, though it may have been on purpose. Shar Jackson, that gorgeous lady from the first Good Burger, made a literal cameo. She came back for the film, but as herself. Like it's the bare minimum, and she nailed it. Like you said about Good Burger 2 being what it needs to be and nothing more. I was very delighted to see her. A lack of a cameo I noticed was Mr. Bailey. For good reason, but like a passing reference would have been okay with me, like if he got in trouble for feeding his mother cat food? Just saying. Anyway, this movie is all I've ever wanted, but again. You mentioned a Jimmy Neutron episode (McSpanky's?), but I have another one. When Hugh uses that stupid remote to redo the last thing he ate. I wasn't grossed out by it. I enjoyed it a second time, and I will happily do it again (I'm the type of guy who loves sticking to the formula). The formula doesn't even have to be standardized. Just put Ed in different situations, taking things literally and saying outlandish things; with Dex there to keep the plot going, I guess. That was a good burger, y'all.
Edit: They did mention "The Owner of Good Burger" left Good Burger to Ed before he "went bye-bye." I'm guessing they're talking about Schneider, but it was quick and again all that it needed to be. But I never thought of him as the owner.
The first one is still the best one out of the two but I really did thoroughly enjoy the second one and I was smiling the entire time
Love that Lori Beth and Josh server were in the film too!
Kenan and Kel didnt miss a beat with their goofball and straightman dynamic even with recycled gags
I personally loved it! Great job!!!? Great to see them back together
I love how the burger mobile went from an AMC Pacer to a Chevrolet Caprice Convertible.
I loved the movie so much. It was such a fun movie to watch.
Watched this with my sister on thanksgiving. It's hard to rate it well when you know that it was like 70% created to hop on the sequel train and for bucks. I found it to be cheesy, silly, and laughing just from the idiocy of it all (but I also did that with the first one which is why it works here as well).
Couldve cut like half of Ed's family and the new peeps from the bit. I actually enjoyed Kurt's sister. The actress was funny (much like in 22 jump street) and the reoccurences from Roxanne, Fizz, and others wouldve been nice to last a bit longer but I actually enjoyed it which i couldnt say for other remakes or sequels these days
So glad nothing changed nor had a agenda to it, just actually a sequel, and a fun one!!!!!
A modern classic
I didnt expect the movie to be as good as it is
It was such an amazing movie I was shocked like it did not try to be anything more !
Friend: “Hey! Just checking in to see how your trip to Arby’s and trying that new Good Burger came out!”
Jordan: “Oh the Good Burger came out, all right.”
i'm glad the director didn't kill this project, as it looks like it was carried mostly by the talent of the cast and the heavy nostalgia.
Why Kel is looking like a Black Ken Doll? This seems a bit more than getting old. It must be makeup.
Roger Rockmore from Kenan and Kel is played by an actor called Ken.
Funny how kel sounds the same but looks different while kenen looks the same but sounds different
Good Burger 2 manages to keep the 90s vibe. I especially loved it when all the Edamotronics go hay wire, Including The London Edamotrnic calling everybody nitwits
I honestly don't know why I ever kept rewatching the original several times on VHS as a kid.
I learned something interesting about those burgers from Arby’s. Certain locations don’t have grill tops. So instead of putting the patty on the grill it is put into the deep fryer.
Until we meet again!
I love how literal Ed is haha
Great review as always! The only flaw that I can see is choosing the crinkly fries over the curly fries for your order. Crinkle fries are great and all but this was a CRIME, an indelible sin Jordan. Gonna have to bump the review down to just an 11/10 now.
I like the face cam in this video, surprised me but I liked it!
You gave me an idea? Amsr fast food sheetz . The sounds of eating it, then evacuating it.
i was today years old when I found out good burger 2 exists, so imma watch it. thank you
Yes. This is genuine nostalgia.
Not bait nostalgia like a lot of other things do.
I love that Good Burger respects the first film. I wish more sequels of older films did that.
I have the shaker cup for that shirt!

You just got hustled by a real hustla playboy
I watch good burger atleast once a year, grew up watching all that and kenan and kel. This movie was a very good sequel, so happy they didn’t mess it up. Funny and same humor as the first
Earth has been so so hard but I am greatful to be apart of the nostalgia I’m a 1991 kid and it hurts so much to see everyone missing and old !! Amvut ed least we are still here !!! It’s just sucks because our whole life was a lie growing up and we all grew up to be slaves !!! And no one can afford to live now that it’s our turn to play adults !! It’s so hurtful but I’m glad to see some of the old crew back !!!! I wished they played not just knee deep by funkadelic in the movie though lol !!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 cheers to all of us early 90s and late 80s babies
This is one of the best dreaming sequels since Disney’s hocus-pocus 2!
I'm an old school Nickelodeon fan and When I started watching this movie, I was hoping one of the Pete's would make a cameo and I was not disappointed!
I made a LIVE watch today about GB2! It was GREAT and MORE clichés then ANYTHING ELSE, but I liked it. I didn't necessarily liked it more then the original but it was AWESOME to see all the cameos.
I was on edge about this movie. I’m so glad it turned out the way it did, and I really need to find that book lol
I felt like a lot of laughs were left on the table. Ed's family was underutilized. The kids injuring Roxanne seemed like a natural gag - still can't believe they missed that one. Overall it felt incredibly short (85 mins). For me, the tone was pretty close to the original, not exact. The main thing: NOT a disaster.
I just remembered another old anime/cartoon from Saturday mornings, Taichi chasers
They put too much makeup on Kel. He looks weird. Also his Ed voice is wrong. He sounds like he's talking into a fan. Idk if he just forgot how to do it like he used to, or if his voice has changed so much since then that he can't do it 100%. But it's very distracting, that and the makeup.
ED gave an academy award winning speech in his living room 🫡
This is why I don't lose my hope to Galactic KND coming back
