Thanks so much for watching! Let me know your thoughts on Atomic Betty, were you a fan of the show?
Naturally =3
My sister
It's plays rent free in my head at random times
YES❤😂 I was so obsessed I did fanfiction and a horrible attempt at a video ‘movie’ about it
0:44 **Points** I understood that reference!
I had started to wonder if Jordan was actually Canadian, and the fact that he referred to British Columbia as "British Canada" has very much solidified he's from the States 😂
I had to pause the video because it made me laugh so hard 😂
I RAN to the comments immediately after he said that😹😹😹
Ya, I was like, hang on a second😅
Seriously, paused the video to find the comments, love that it's on top.
i mean, technically...he's not wrong...he's not right, but he's not wrong, either
The intro was so frikking badass. Even as a young boy i enjoyed this show so much.
Not like the show was any good tbh
@@dragontales1999I liked it. :x
Even as a young boy…
As if the show wasnt _meant_ for young ppl? Lmao
@@Tw0Dots back then only girls watched atomic betty..so yeah couldnt talk about it on school.
@@F4WildcatAs a fellow dude who's younger self watched and enjoyed this series, i'm right there with you.
Man, us canadian's had some banger shows that doesn't get the recognition they deserve
That's why i love your channel Jordan
You guys and the French definitely have some of the best cartoons. Total Drama, atomic Betty, Code Lyoko, Totally Spies, Space Goofs and the list goes on.
Yep. Canada gets no appreciation because people just assume all of our good shows are American bc they aired on Cartoon Network.
@@selmadjeziri8285Don't forget "Being Ian".
I really love how so many Frensh and Canadian shows aired (and air, modern new cartoons) on kids channels in the country I come from ^^
@@Feurigel1806 same, in my country we had access to French channels and we had our own channels that aired cartoons from all around the world so I grew up watching all those shows I didn’t miss anything.
Canada, this is your friggin Magnum Opes !
Atomic Betty the best show ever that got me through the 2000s , to this very day .
Also you also gave me Zixx, which is also a masterpiece .
So I owe both shows alot .
I thought I was the only person on Earth who remembered this show.
Can we be friends then?😂
Can we all be friends 😢
*NOPE YOU AINT
This theme song has been in my head since 2005. Such a bop
2005 was a damn good year for cartoon themes... Johnny Test (The season 1 version...), Wayside, Get ED and Atomic Betty! And good grief, why does Canadian cartoons have such FIRE themes...
I remember enjoying it, but I ONLY remember one scene from the entire series. It was the halloween episode where the danger was on earth. Her crew didn't need disguises because they'd blend in as trick or treaters. The friend of Atomic Betty was a robot and was going "Boop Beep" and it got the robot companion really offended. I remember that being funny to me
This show was my JAM when I was a kid, and it's still one of my favorites today. Maximus is the best 😸
YOU LIKED ATOMIC BETTY TOO?!?! 😱You are now officially one of my favorite UA-camrs.
Evil cat. What's not to love?
I remember the show. Catchy theme too.
🎵X5 come alive! 🎶
I got a chuckle at "British Canada".
Thanks for another great video! 4:13
Besides watching Ben 10 and later Invader Zim as a kid, I feel like Atomic Betty was one of the few reasons why I grew to love the sci-fi genre in media as much as I do with fantasy.
It also helps the opening theme for Atomic Betty is so nostalgic in my mind.
A Teletoon staple. This is like the nostalgia channel, and I love it.
I really like Betty's design. Probably because she reminds me of what some dolls in the 90s and 00s looked like (e.g. Betty Spaghetty) and tickles my nostalgia bone. There was definitely some Jetsons-esque Retrofuturism in the show's world, which I love. Perhaps a soupcon of Astro Boy/Tezuka, too. I didn't know AB was Canadian, but I'm not surprised. So many great cartoons come from the Great White North.
We also have some terrible ones! Yvon of the Yukon comes to mind...
atomic betty was definitely one of the best shows they played in the UK for a hot minute, I loved it as a kid. I've been meaning to rewatch it for ages lmao
Despite not really remembering the actual show, the theme song still lives rent free in my head!
I’m Canadian and this is a throw back man. Bro your a gem
I just searched about this show yesterday and you dropped this video....this has to be a sign i need to to rewatch it😂😂.....I loved this show so much as a kid the only episode i remembered though is when she had 3 evil clones for some reason...the intro was such a banger
I knew from a mile off that you were gonna do Atomic Betty eventually, Jordan =3
Anyways.... can I just say that I love Betty's outfit when she is in space? So stylish and cool :3
Or from a light year off
@@welon17 Heh =3 Either way... he was gonna do it eventually. :)
And as for what I said down below? ^^
I looooved this show as a kid to the point of obsession. I used to tell everyone about it, draw the characters and I think even on a subconcious level the novel series I am working on might have had some seeds planted from this show
Tried revisiting it in quarentine times and sadly it just didn't hold up for me, unlike many other shows I loved as a kid (Fosters, As Told By Ginger, Spongebob)
Maybe I should give it another shot.
Oh wow, reading your comment you almost sound like me. I too was and still (kinda) obsessed with the show and drawing fanart of it also cumulated in creating my own sci-fi characters and setting.
Yeah, I remember watching this long ago... And as a Canadian, for apologizing over nothing, you may consider yourself an honorary Canadian. Expect your membership card in 1-2 business weeks, eh. :3
I swear we had so many dope Female protagonists! None of these shows are still around but DAMN did they hit different as a kid! I miss Kim Possible so much
Atomic Betty was amazing. I don't remember much of it but I do remember how I felt when I watched it. I also remember the intro being badass 👏
The Christmas special was my absolute favourite; especially with them airing it years after the show stopped having reruns for the most part. I still remember the significant song they used in the episode, and loved getting more background story of Betty’s grandmother.
I remember loving Atomic Betty because she lived i a fictionalized version of a nearby city to my hometown! As a result, I watched this show for ages, really loving the characters and enjoying the stories. Thanks Jordan! You rock!
I remember this show. I don't remember much though.
The theme song of this show slaps so hard!
This had one of the catchiest intro in that period of cartoons for me, and hearing even a snippet of it always takes me back.
In Canada, this aired a lot. I also remember having a couple DVDs, something that my parents rarely bought for TV shows. Lots of dolls, too. One doll was like a 30cm tall Barbie with a BIG head lol
I remember this show. It was a fun one.
Oh yeah! I had been revisiting the show a bit lately. Saw part of the episode where Betty heads to the future and meets her older self!
Yeah it’s a shame the sequel series didn’t span out
@gracekim25 what If did though?
this show was so great man i’m glad you made a video about it. reminds me of when i went to Canada in ‘09 and in the hotel room i turned on Teletoon and Atomic Betty started playing. i was shocked tbh cause i haven’t seen it on air in the US in years, the only times i’d be able to watch it was through youtube clips or torrenting the series. idk why i still vividly remember this lmao
This is the video I've been waiting for, loved watching this growing up in Canada and glad it's getting some recognition
I still watch Atomic Betty on PlutoTV and TubiTV sometimes
I don't see Atomic Betty on Tubi TV.
I never watched this show regularly. It was certainly one of those "I guess I'll watch it if there’s nothing else on" shows.
bro when you showed the characters i feel like you have retrieved a nice part from my childhood which i completely forgot. and it did feel like an intense case of deja vu that literally stunned me for a second.
I remember this show. I don't remember anything about it. But I remember it.
Wow, you've unlocked memories for me! This was also aired in England and I now remember it very well!
Yooooo! I remember this show!
I loved watching it all the time when it was on the air, it's kinda like Dexter's lab and Powerpuff girls in a way, the action, comedy and the creative locations are just amazing!
I’ve actually started rewatching this on UA-cam 😊
I loved this show! Loved it as a kid and a Canadian!
Well I don’t like a certain character from this show so I want to get rid of him!
@@trevorsheehan1757 which one ?
I remembered seeing a literal glimps of her on tv when I was like 4or something and have been looking for her for years and whenever I do find her again I always always forget her name and it drives me crazy!
1:18 As an aerospace engineering student who's been working on a Senior Design project and is just about to graduate, that hit hard. Hope you get some rest, Jordan.
This show was one of my absolute favorites to watch! I loved the characters, worlds, music and stories! I always hoped Atomic Betty would get it's sequel series in Redux, but I was satisfied with I got to see with the original series as a whole. A absolute diamond of a series for me! ^u^
The intro will randomly pop in my head all the time. In 25…
Honestly, I loved watching this show when I was young, it was one of my favorites. Didn't knew there was a season 3 so I eventually had the chance to watch it, it was honestly alright. Oh, I also do remember reading an article that one time mentioning a 'Atomic Betty' theme park or something, but I don't know it they ever made that.
I was such a HUGE fan of this show, genuinely one of my most favourites growing up back in the day, i loved the theme song to the show and i loved all the characters that were in it, i always used to say that misty was the first fictional character i had a crush on but seeing this reawakened so many memories and reminded me my first fictional crush was actually Betty back in the day. This was such a goated show like actually.
heck yeah, Atomic Betty was really popular here in México
One of the best cartoons ive watched in childhood, who wouldn't enjoy a cool redhead kicking butt in different ways 😂❤️
Wait! Remember episodes i need:

Transformers (Animated and Prime)

Fantastic Four World's Greatest Heroes
Tenkai Knights
Kaitou Joker
Shinzo
Voltron Force
Pair of Kings
Ninjago
Sonic (SatAM and Underground)
He-Man 2002
Freakazoid
it's always unfortunate when the rest of the world doesn't get to see creative, offbeat cartoons like this one. but wiki tells me at least france aired this too, which is not that surprising given the canadian origin
If your country had Cartoon Network, you most likely saw this show when it aired. And even then, the show was dubbed in at least 11 languages, so it definitely aired in other countries on channels other than CN.
I'm from germany and it aired on pay TV here, Disney Channel to be exact (now DC is free TV, but it was pay TV back when I was a kid)
French here, I confirm! I saw this show airing and I loved it growing up!
i think netherlands had it on Jetix
It even aired on Ultra tv in Serbia
this show, mlaatr and kim possible were the holy trinity for me when i was a kid. and all their opening songs are bangers too
So I found this video on my youtube recommadantion page and it was something I totally forgot even existed!!! I used to love Atomic Betty and while there's a few cartoons I don't remember the came of, seeing this totally unlocked a part of my memorie that I totally forgot about!
I think youre the first youtuber I've seen even mention this show. I have vague memories of drawing Betty on my spelling homework in first grade. It's nice to be reminded of it, i should give it another watch!
Okay but can we talk about how Sparky is literally just green Billy.
Lol 🤣
O M G, This was like my favourite show of all time back then!!
Here in germany, it aired in pay TV, which we had because of my 'dad' watching sports stuff, but nobody I knew, even until this day, has ever heard of this show!
I'm so SO happy that you covered this masterpiece! I hope because of that, it will get a bit more love again
This show has an amazing theme song.
Atomic Betty was one of those shows where it seemed like every time I caught an episode on TV it was the same episode. Juniper Lee had that issue too around the same time. Whats up with that? Was that just me?
Omg you just unearthed a memory that I had pretty much completely forgotten! I remember really liking this show, but I had completely forgotten about it until this video! ... Now I want to go find a way to watch it all...
I miss this show; was so much fun to turn on after school or when i got sick.
0:43 “we’re going on a trip, in our hopefully remembered but some will find obscure or consider a fever dream in the comments for some reason rocket ship” wow, very catchy
Just from seeing the title of the video I've had the Atomic Betty them song stuck in my head.
Oh wow as soon as I saw the thumbnail my brain unlocked old memories. Man I remember now back watching this on tv. And also mentioning the HUB Channel man that was some childhood/growing up kind of memory stuff.
Not sure why but around that time, Canadian cartoons had really unique look to distinguish it. I saw atomic Betty on CN and new just by looking at it, it wasn't animated in the states.
Thank you for making this video! This was my favorite show as a kid even if I never got to watch season 2 or 3. I’m happy to see the love it deserves and realize I wasn’t the only one who loved this show!
BTW The opening song is the best!
Atomic Betty was my FAVORITE from 3rd grade all the way to 6th. I had the doll, the comics, the game boy game, and a couple other books! I love her 💗
This was my childhood on Cartoon Network back in 2004❤
Man you just keep bring out the shows that I remembered watching and loving. It’s seriously wonderful
I don't know if anyone remembers this at ALL but my cousin was obsessed with this show back in the day!! I recall her having the Atomic Betty light up sneakers and the Atomic Betty Doll,. Just curious if anyone else has any merch from this show, because frankly I do not remember any being in the typical toy venues.
I however, don't really have any fond memories besides the theme song sounding pretty great😂❤
I loved Atomic Betty xD
It aired on Toon Disney where I come from ^^
I liked this show. In the UK, it aired on CITV (basically channel 3) on Saturday mornings as part of the Toonatik block alongside What's New Scooby Doo, Horrid Henry and Power Rangers.
Somehow, this was one of those shows that I acknowledge existed, but only for maybe a brief second of time on Cartoon Network. I remember it being advertised like crazy when I was young. Thank you Jordan for reminding me that I have the permanent tattoo in my brain that is this show.😅
I remember enjoying this series especially X-5 was my personal favorite character
I loved watching this show growing up it feels so nostalgic now a days and I would love a an aged up series for this classic
I love this show and I used to have a crush on Betty when I was a kid.
Same
This brings me back. I remember watching this when I was 6 while on vacation to Egypt. Never saw the show anywhere else but there. I kept thinking it was some fever dream until a few years back.
This used to be my favourite show as a kid I mean I literally watched every day when it was airing I think I fell out of it at some point in the early 2000s I can't remember at what point but it was definitely a good show so glad that you're talking about it.
I loved Atomic Betty as a kid, and being a Canadian myself, im pretty excited to see you reviewing something i have such fond memories of!
"That's Kimberly but a stylized version of her and that's the buy guy who's named Borg"
- James (Funhaus) (from the Wheelhaus episode)
It's honestly so nice to see someone talking highly of this show ^^ It was absolutely fantastic! Very very nice video! I do hope that one day they consider releasing all the seasons of it on possibly blu ray or something in the future. I'd pay good money for that!
Yes i remember Atomic Betty aaaand i loved it the intro was great and the show itself was something that i could get behind.
This Fringesmas is making me remember many shows keep it up Jordan! Although hopefully you at least sleep for a few hours 😅
I watched it at first but at the time I was introduced to action cartoons and anime and quickly connected with them, anime quickly being my go to for a while with all the live action stuff taking over CN, Nick, and Disney at the time.
I remember being obsessed with this show when it came out! Very underrated!
Fun fact: The voice actress who played Penelope Lang also voiced Mimet in the
Cloverway dub of Sailor Moon. (Catherine Disher)
I’m usually pretty good at remembering old cartoons but this one I can’t even remember if I watched it or not bravo sir
I remember this airing on Teletoon (which interestingly enough was the Canadian equivalent of Cartoon Network.)
Gosh! What a fuzzy memory. I definitely remember this show and the characters.. maybe the theme song?
Ohhhh, I completely forgot about this show! Thank you! I loved it!
YES!!! I absolutely loved Atomic Betty as a kid and I'm so happy more people are talking about it now! Betty was my idol and I always wanted to be a Galactic Guardian like her. This show was part of the reason I got into sci-fi and space-related stuff in the first place, eventually leading up to my discovery of my biggest and longest-lasting special interest in my life thus far (You know the one 😉✨🦊🐦🐰🐸)
I don’t like a certain character from the show so I want to get rid of that character in the future!
I was thinking of Atomic Betty last week.
Now after fully watching the video: I loved watching this on Sunday nights alongside Totally Spies. Betty is like a mini Kim Possible and I love that about her.
Thanks Jordan for this, I was waiting very patiently for this one to come out (just like I was with "WAIT... Remember What's New, Scooby-Doo?" back in October) and it was well worth the wait. 😁
Glad finally talking about this, used to love watching as a kid, also the theme song absolutely slaps
I remember watching this shit, having a pair of Atomic Betty shoes
And I love the cat villain guy
Atomic Betty was my favourite CN show ❤
You should really do a video on a show called Jacob Two-Two. I remember going to family video and getting a disc of it. Good times
Jordan please make the video, make the video!
I remember watching this Cartoon as a kid, and years later it came to my mind but I didn't remember ANYTHING about it except for the villain and the main character, I tried to remember it's name for 3 years to no avail, so thank you for reminding me of this existing
Ooooh! I 'memeber.
Well, sorta. I can't remember much from the show itself but the opening theme is FIRE! It's still stuck in my head and in my personal Top 10 of cartoon openings.
The Canadians had FIRE cartoon themes back in the 2000s. And some of them are in my top 10 Cartoon themes ever, and they go as follows...
10: Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!
9: Atomic Betty
8: Detentionaire
7: Grojband
6: The Weekenders
5: Get ED
4: Code Lyoko
3: Johnny Test (Season 1 version)
2: Wayside
1: OK K.O! Let's Be Heroes
Still jam to the soundtrack to this day
i don't know why i'm tearing up
I loved this show! I had a Betty doll in her uniform that sung the theme song 😊
Yes!! I loved Atomic Betty growing up. Its been so long since I last heard about the show that I almost forgot about it. Awesome throwback
