Just another unobtainably expensive bicycle. My good old CANYON 8.0 CF SLX from 2016 cost me $4000, is in mint condition and weighs in at 7.0 kg. No desire for that absurdly expensive and complex gear.

Mee too with a 2015 Canyon CF SLX with mechanical Dura Ace that I upgraded with alluminium ritchey stem and handlebar (wcs series) and a fizik carbon saddle. 6,9kg WITH PEDALS, so about 1kg less than these modern bikes... for 4500€ upgrades included. The modern bike market it's just shameful.

Bikes will never be cheap ever again. This is the "new normal". Same with home prices and cars.
