- See the steps we take when making One Eyed Willy's Treasure Map from the 1985 classic adventure film The Goonies.
After studying the original prop photos and screen grabs, we carefully hand drew the entire design on several different sheets, scanned and combined them digitally. Professionally printed onto heavy weight watercolor paper, then aged using several techniques including staining, painting, folding, burning and waxing... this map is entire hand-made to mimic the original prop and a well worn piece of history.

One of the B-props has been photographed quite clearly, then we studied MANY screen grabs to fill in the missing details of the hero A-prop.
It would be most informative to know the products the artist is using. Quality work.
It's all pretty generic really: strong black coffee mixture for aging, acrylic paints for the gold circle in the middle, pastels or charcoal for the darker distressing...
