this is due to be KoRns 13th album release, "The Nothing", personnally, i REALLY enjoy this sound, its a very old school sound but also super refined. i really loved their previous album too, The Serenity of Suffering (2016 release i believe.) that album was super just heavy, one of their heaviest to date imo, and it has my fav KoRn song, Rotting In Vain!
but this, feels very 'Blind' KoRn - just with a more refined studio mix. i love it.

I loved disturbed and discovered it highschool. In college in 2015 they released immortalized and I was so happy because I had no idea that they were releasing an album in August of that year. I just found it looking up stuff on UA-cam. It sounded like disturbed but I noticed it was much less angry. They even had at least 2 motivational tracks “what are you waiting for” and “the light” (best to listen to on demotivating days). Both very positive and uplifting, though that can said about most of that album. The band was in a better place psychologically, and it showed, especially in their 2019 album “evolution” (though I wasn’t as crazy about that album as previous ones, though the song on that was easily “Are you Ready?”). I found with bands that have around longer I have (I was born in 1997), that much of the time it’s a lot fun going through everything they’ve done. You’ll probably find some lesser known songs that become one of your favorites. Two examples would be “blackbirds” from Linkin Park (for me, it was darker than it was originally, because I found it after Chester passed) and “Epiphany” by Stain’d (definitely softer than their usual stuff but I found a month ago and it’s about Aaron Lewis’s decades long struggle with untreated ADD. I have treated ADD, but it finally helped me describe what it feels like). It’s good to see though how a band has changed and whether or not any struggles they’ve gone through are better or worse. For example, Korn sounds Crisp and clear in their both their sound and vocals in their 2016 and 2019 albums because Jonathan Davis and the other members got clean and sober (hope they keep it up and I’m rooting for them). To me what makes music in general really fun, especially in rock and metal.

No matter what Korn has always been one of my main influences in music, and the reason why is because of how much they don't fall into a direct music category. They have always created their own sounds and melodies unlike any other band. If you don't like this song then you don't understand the underlying base of what they want to pursue in their music. I have listened to Korn since I was 6 or 7 and just saw them for the first time I was beyond excited. It's going to be the sickest lineup because slipknot, Korn, and motionless in white will all be playing at the aftershock 2019 festival. Can't wait to see them all again very soon 🤘🤘

A reaction to the track Cold by Korn would be great man! And some of the songs of Jonathan Davis like what it is and Basic Needs.

KoRn fan for 20 years. ST, Issues & Untouchables R my fave albums.
On SOS I only liked Black is The Soul, Everything Falls Apart & Out of You.
You'll Never Find Me is 1000/10!
Because of KoRn I spent thousands and thousands of $ on hifi equipement

Damian Urlich Korn fan since the first album. Me and my friends followed them around the Northeast. Hung out with them many times. I lost interest after the third album for the most part. Moved onto actual heavy music.....Real metal.

I understand you but Im also listening to other metal bands...
But KoRn became mixed bag of everything after Head left the band. After Untouchables didnt like/bought any KoRn album until SoS, and didnt like it that much. Every KoRn fan knows that Head is a HEAD of KoRn. His solo and Love and death albums tops everything KoRn has done after Untouchables. I will buy upcoming album I like the single. Its not good like Here to Stay but... the thing is, KoRn raised the bar so high with their early works that they cannot top that.
      Maybe one day... who knows.
Wont give up on them... ever!

As far as the scale, Korn took over the world 20 years ago the way Slipknot is right now so I guess maybe they’d be headlining over Korn but I think Korn is also in place to be a headliner too.

Speaking of favorite big band release cycles Linkin Park Living Things is mine. I’ve jammed all their record for sure but I’m just partial to that record for some reason.
